Well it's not the normal way to buy a used car, thats for sure. Absolutely no pressure in any way, shape or form. The sales office is a converted Barn with top of the range quality cars both inside and out. You feel like your buying a quality product not something thats just been tarted up to look good. We arrived at our appointment and the car we were interested in was waiting for us. Ben the salesman came to greet us, handed us the keys and asked if we needed showing round the car or left to have a look ourselves and ask questions if needed. Ben left us to our own devices and after trying most things on the car we took it for a test drive on our own. You only go about a 2 miles but it's far enough to get a feel for the car. Ben was waiting on our return, I checked all the paperwork for the car and we agreed the price and went into the very nice offices to complete the paperwork. I paid in full for the car and arranged to have it delivered 3 days later. A very simple and no fuss or pressure service with very friendly people. I would definately recommend them and would buy another car without a doubt.

A rather frustrating experience. The salesman we initially dealt with was friendly and helpful. I discussed a 3% discount which he said he would need to check in a way that indicated it was strongly possible. He quoted a book price of 4500 for our old car in a way that indicated flexibility. We had explained all the external damage to him and he said he would need to get the buyer to look at it. We came back with our car to trade in and then another salesman was there who said only 1500 for the car. We were expecting something lower but a purchase website had shown 4200 for a poor condition exterior car so they were giving really a low ball offer. We shrugged and said let's just buy the new car. Sat us down and told us full price only with an additional administration fee. On top of this all there was so much waiting around in the cold despite no other customers around. If they had been more upfront from the start we would have purchased. But they set up expectations and then tightened everything up at the end of the day when we came to purchase. I had to give up the purchase because it simply didn't feel like they were dealing with us in a straightforward way. To be fair I didn't complain to the owner who was onsite to give him a chance to make things right, I was simply too frustrated with the experience.

Rob initially made the deal with me, was very professional and patient. Rob wasn’t working on the day I was picking up the car. David took over on the purchase, I had many questions and ended up spending over 3 hours there as after previous bad experience I wanted to be thorough. David was very patient and helpful, even staying later than necessary. Highly recommend, love the car. Will definitely check back when looking for my next one in the future.

My Q5 that I bought less than a year ago had an EML come up so I called Twelve London and spoke to David who was incredibly helpful and said to bring the car in. I turned up less than an hour later and was given the keys to a courtesy car (Audi A4) and my car was booked into one of their known garages to investigate and fix the issue. Car was booked in a garage for Tuesday and they found out that the water pump has a leak (very common in Audi, VW etc). As I had Twelve Assured (servicing & aftercare) they didn’t ask any questions and put the brand new part in and fixed the issue. Collected the car on Friday (today) and was handed the keys like nothing. I can honestly say that this was the most pain free experience I have ever had and the aftercare packages are worth their weight in gold!!! Thank you so much Twelve London, you really do take care of your customers and provide excellent service!

I recently purchased a Jaguar XK from Rob at TA (on a Sunday) and the process was very professional with Rob taking care of all the documents, including my trade in car. I drove out of their lovely site with the car on my way back to Milton Keynes. Unfortunately I discovered that the aircon wasn`t working, and the outside temp was 26 deg!! So I phoned Rob immediately and he said not to worry as they would put it right, and that all I had to do was to find a Jaguar specialist, book it in, and they would cover the cost. After a slight delay with me finding the right specialist I actually booked it in with my regular garage who happens to be an aircon specialist. The after sales team were fantastic in liaising with the garage and the whole bill was paid before I got back to pick the car up. It has been a very satisfying experience buying my gorgeous car from Twelve Assured, and their professional approach in making sure they were good on their word and that I was totally happy is a credit to them, and much appreciated by myself. I seldom write reviews but then again I have never spent 20k on ANYTHING before, so a detailed review is warranted. Found the vehicle I wanted and called late on a Sunday afternoon, their published closing time was fast approaching but David had no issue spending over an hour chatting through the vehicle along with a very comprehensive video tour, I was aware we had gone way past closing time and was now impeding on his personal family time, but was made to feel this was in no way an issue. I was offered a more than fair valuation on my p/x and we agreed a deal. I collected the vehicle a few days later and was incredibly impressed with every aspect of the business, the paperwork was swift and effortless, the coffee was great and off I went into the sunset. I had just spent 20k totally blind but the car waiting for me was far better than I could have ever imagined and their comprehensive HD photos on the site didn't do the car justice. A couple of hundered miles later the car sadly developed a worrying fault, which in fairness would have been TOTALLY impossible for 12 LR to have known about prior to the selling the vehicle. I say this because it was a USED vehicle and 12 LR didn't have a crystal ball in the office! I called up David to explain this issue and was told "Not an issue, it sounds very much like x,y and z, I will order up the parts and will call you when ready!!!!" Went back to 12 LR on the agreed day and time and their very knowledgable in-house mechanic was waiting for me as previously arranged. All defective parts replaced within the hour and David even came down to ensure all was well, check I was happy and sent me off with a cheery handshake. Firstly, I was half expecting (based on previous car purchases) at the very least a civil, polite but somewhat combatitive conversation regarding the fault, but there was no resistance whatsoever, no questioning, no wriggling, no "well it was fine when you left" just an apology and the bending over backwards to recify the issue. I too read the VERY small handful of negative reviews about 12 LR before I spent a penny here, and (based on my personal experience) I can only assume these people were just shouty arrogant entitled people anyway, before they even walked through the gate OR had simply taken too many drugs (or maybe both!) A brilliant experience all round and will be back in 3 - 4 years to trade in for the next one without a shadow of a doubt.

It's not often that I share reviews, but on this occasion I thought I would as the experience on buying my BMW M135i was nothing short of excellent. Pleased with the preparation of the car. Very clean and polished. The bodywork repair was also to a good standard. Would have liked to have had more information on the car’s history given that it was a one owner vehicle. Surprised to find out that the car had had Halfords’ servicing and had missed out on some of the expensive service items due (plugs and transmission oil change). The sales process was low pressure which was nice. Thought the standard warranty was a bit poorer than I would hope for - especially the low hourly rate (£70 inc/not inc VAT?). Not sure you’d get the level of service you’d hope for at that money on a high performance vehicle? That said you did agree to upgrade the terms to the better twelve month one - albeit with the term reduced to three months and with a £200 excess. I think that is a fair warranty. Your people were always at hand to answer any questions and I felt were courteous at all times. I guess if I had one comment to make it would be regarding the style of customer engagement. I spoke with Tim Purlow about servicing. I know he also sells cars. He comes across as a real enthusiast and spent time chatting about the type of car I’d bought. It’s nice when people share your interest and enthusiasm for a car that’s special to you.

I had my heart set on a lovely Mercedes Ml 350 which I was going to buy. I put a deposit down to secure the car. But then unfortunately my house did not sell from days away selling it. But I did not have no trouble in receiving my deposit back and Dave the sales team was very understanding in my situation. Generally a good experience, but a couple of things to be mindful of. Staff are very good - friendly and courteous. The process of buying the car was smooth and painless. The car itself is, for the most part, very good but TLR cars are top money. Had some interiors bits done to bring the car up the standard of the money they were asking. 2 points I should mention, if you are not viewing in person, be sure to ask about all features listed. Mine said Cold Weather pack which it didn't have. Also. Wheels advertised as having been 'refurbished'. Not sure I would say refurbished - painted at best, cheaply and badly at that. They are basically blown over - over the wheel weights, too! If you have to have them balanced like I've had too- yep, the paints is off. I'll get them done properly. Had to take mine back with a brakes issue, not entirely convinced with the response I was given, if I'm honest, but it is what it is. By and large ok - but check everything - thoroughly

After going to quite a few used car dealers and not being successful in purchasing a car we were left feeling wary, nervous and deflated. We then come across Twelve London Road – so pleased we did! After seeing a car we liked on their website, Graham kindly sent a link to us showing pictures and a video of the inside and outside of the car which was very useful as we really got a good look at the car before we made the journey. On arrival we were met by Becky and David, both of whom were very friendly and down to earth, I was a little confused if I’m honest as to if they were the sales people or, when it got to that point, if the “pushy and aggressive” sales person would be brought in – thankfully not the case! We were given the keys and left to look around the vehicle at our leisure and even drive it on our own, such a different experience and we were able to relax in the vehicle and talk freely about it. The negotiation was easy, we were able to be honest with our expectation for our trade in and they were up front on what that could do for us. A deal which pleased both sides was easily made and we were delighted! I cannot recommend this dealer enough, stunning cars all in excellent condition and a great sales team. A really refreshing experience and we certainly will be back. Worth the trip? I saw a BMW 4 Series advertised online at 12 London Road matching all the spec I wanted, looked beautifully presented and at a very reasonable price. I enquired about the car and was in Contact with a very nice chap called Ben, who couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating. He kept me updated with all my enquires about the 4 series and nothing was too much hassle! So I decide to drive down to see the car, the best part of a 7 HOUR drive later (From central Scotland) I arrive, due to traffic and accidents on route I didn’t make it quite in time that evening to sign any paperwork or view it in daylight, although Ben stayed to welcome me and very kindly made me a coffee to help me stay awake, he also recommended a hotel for me. So I popped to a local town and got my head down! The next morning I arrive back at the garage and see the car for the first time in person, the pictures didn’t do it justice, STUNNING car which was presented flawlessly inside and out! The actual Garage/Showroom building was pristine as well and a nice change from the usual industrial estate/allotment or heavily packed messy forecourt you’d expect from an independent dealer! You could tell that 12 London road take pride in their appearance and rightly so! I was given a very reasonable part exchange price for my car and I was allowed to look around the BMW at my own pace without anyone hovering over my shoulder or peeking out a window waiting to ask questions. I sat and signed the paperwork at my leisure, no hidden chat, everything was explained to me and made clear what was getting signed. The 7 HOUR drive home was an absolute pleasure, had a grin the whole way up! I can’t thank Ben and the team at 12 London road enough for all their effort, both in preparing the car to the very high standard and their overall attitude towards customers. The 14 hour round trip would not put me off buying from here again! So was it worth it, ABSOLUTELY!

So it’s too easy nowadays for people to complain and platforms like this are a voice for people to do just that . However the experience my wife and I have had from 12 London road is nothing short of perfection. We needed to replace our family car and found one via the website ,a quick call later and we spoke with david . A true professional who carried out the customer journey with such perfection and professionalism it made us feel sure they had the right car for us . Only 3 days later and the car has been delivered to devon by an excellent driver who took care of the car and handed it over very professionally . I emailed via their website over the recent bank holiday weekend requesting some extra photos of a VW polo that I was really interested in. I very quickly received a response from Gordon who said he would happily get some for me and informed me they were open on bank holiday Monday if I wished to see the car. I arrived on the bank holiday Monday and was pleasantly greeted by David and made to feel instantly comfortable. This made such a difference, especially as I have only ever purchased my previous cars privately. The documentation was all ready for me in the office which was great and Rebecca was very helpful and friendly, going through the relevant information with me. I was able to take the car for a test drive by myself which made me feel much more relaxed than I had experienced at various VW dealerships and I felt able to fully investigate the car without feeling pressurized. When I returned, Rebecca was able to answer any further questions and go through the purchase process clearly with me. David informed me that they would valet the car for me (although it was already pristine!) and replace the two nearly worn front tyres for me before I picked the car up at no additional cost to me. This happened the next day and I was able to collect my new car promptly. I couldn't recommend Twelve London Road enough. The staff were fantastic, accommodating and made the process of purchasing my new car a very pleasant experience. It's in a lovely setting and you can tell that the cars are all well cared for. I certainly feel that my new car was sold at a great price and in amazing condition and couldn't be happier. I have already passed on their details to some family and friends who are looking for new cars!

Great place for quality cars at realistic prices. Service is first class with absolutely no pressure to buy. Left to check over vehicles and likewise test drive was as simple as showing driving licence, being given keys and told to take as long as I wanted. The people were really nice and helpful. However after having cheap cars that have broken down one after another I wanted to get a nicer car that was more reliable. Went into the garage and feel in love with a fiat 500, obviously from a garage cars are slightly more expensive, but shortly after leaving the garage my engine light come on (I live about 40 minutes away from the garage) so struggled to get it back in due to working hours. I then span the car out and wrote it off. As I am now finding out that I was severely over charged for the car and won't be getting the same amount (or near the some amount) back for the car and now have a loan to pay but no pretty car... moral of the story check how much the car is worth before you buy. Also check newer makes, as now I'm finding out i could have had a much newer car for the same amount or even less 😩

I bought a car from here about a month ago and it's been great and as described. The experience was very friendly and I did not feel pressured at all. I was allowed to take the car for a test drive on my own which is always nice. There's some really nice cars in the showroom and I don't believe they would sell you a car that you wouldn't be happy with. Im docking a star because, although the showroom is very nice, I found it difficult to find (there werent any signs or logos in the street). Once I'd found it, was wandering around looking for some sign of life / staff (it was like a ghost town). It turns out the office is upstairs but you never would have known! As I was leaving another customer stopped to ask me where the staff were. There were also some bits of paperwork I had to chase them on. Anyway, I would recommend! DISCLAIMER: It's worth noting that they are offer a cash prize raffle for anyone who reviews them on Google. Hence why they have so many reviews. I don't believe it has to be a 5 star review...
