Chris and Dawn go out of their way to be helpful and unlike other dealers we visited, they spent time explaining everything to us newbies 😃 The after service was excellent too; when we had a problem with the toilet flush, Chris sorted it with no issue. E. P.What a pleasure it was to buy a caravan from Chris and Dawn at Ridgeway Tourers. As a newbie to caravanning the task of finding the right van for my family was a daunting prospect, but they were so friendly and helpful. They answered all our questions and everything was thoroughly explained, as to what they thought we would need and what to look for. Also, there was no pressure or hard sell when looking around their well-kept forecourt.
The absolute godsend is, they took the time and trouble to make a comprehensive video explaining how everything inside and out operated, which will be great to just refresh our memories, especially if we haven't used it in a while, much easier than an instruction manual!!
On pick up day, the van was immaculately presented, and Chris again took the time to show me how things worked especially on the points I was unsure on. He also showed me how to hook up to my car, which was very reassuring as I had never done it before.
All I can say is that I'd never want to buy a caravan from anywhere else. These guys are honest, helpful, and trustworthy, we couldn't have asked for a better first-time buying experience.

Chris threw in a few bits that we would need to get started (being as we are complete beginners) and I must say he was very thorough with information and answered all questions asked with complete confidence. We received handover videos that were very much appreciated and just shows how they go the extra mile for their customers. Nothing is hidden, completely honest in their sales. L. T.Ridgeway Tourers is the best Caravan dealership I have ever dealt with in my 12 years of caravanning. Chris has gone out of his way twice to help me when he has not had to do it. Customer care means just that, & if their sales service is great, then the after service is second to none, such a rarity these days. I will return to Ridgeway for my next caravan, even though I live 100 miles away, because I know that the price will be reasonable & there will be no nasty surprises lurking in either quality of the caravan or the customer care.
