Id say the best car buying experience Ive had. All the staff are friendly and Pauls knowledge of Volvos is outstanding. Very fair price on my px, very fair price on the S60 I bought and the after care is second to none. Car was fully serviced and valeted - it looked brand new. Id give them 6 stars if it let me. 110% recommend buying from them.

I recently found myself in need of a second car that I could use as a bit of a workhorse and decided on a Volvo estate. All the staff were great to deal with, didn’t at any point put the pressure on to buy and helped with a fantastic finance deal which was something I didn’t really know much about. I'm not really a car person but I bought my S60 from Paul after getting a new job which required a long commute. He was more than polite, very friendly with a sensible and respectful approach to the covid limitations, he offered a sensible and fair warranty and gave honest and insightful advice on the vehicle and helped me to make a good decision without being pushy or "salesman like" he was honest and resolved the small flaw on the car before collection (some slight scuffing on the left side die to the previous owner driving it through bushes every day) along with a full service and MOT. Also he was happy to provide after-sales assistance of my concerns when the car gave a battery warning after arriving home (probably because it had been sat for a few weeks on the forecourt) A month later and I've been driving it for 500 miles a week and the car hasn't missed a beat, it's a beautiful motorway commuter car just as described. Could not be happier. I will definitely be bringing my car back to Drydals for its services as they are clearly know their Volvo's and seem to be the best place to go if you have/want a Volvo in the NorthEast of England. Edit 11/21, car is still working perfectly, I've done 35k miles in 12 months and the thing still drives like it's new!

Paul was courteous and gave the impression that he's got a great deal of experience and knowledge. There were some squeaky and humming brakes after service, but they looked into it for no extra charge (part of the issue was it just not getting bedded in, so not their fault). They also seem to have resolved a clutch pedal issue with my V40, that "people on internet forums" has mixed success resolving at other garages. It was a good experience and I'll be going back again if my car needs servicing or troubleshooting.

Can't thank Dyrdals enough. Hadcissuecwith a Volvo I had bought from a motor trader only days before. So I had the right knowledge to go back to the trader with rang Dyrdals for a bit of advice. Bring it down and I'll give it a quick check over, well Paul did more than a quick check over. Recently found this garage. WHAT A FIND. My V70 has been to at least four other garages (including a Volvo main dealer in Leeds) to diagnose an intermittent noise. I’d been told it was something inside the door, wheel bearings, air whistling past the window rubbers. All of these unnecessary works wasted my money and still didn’t solve the problem. Mentioned it to Paul, he immediately told me what it was, gave me a price to fix it and it was done in a short time. The issue was the rear bushes needed replacing. Previously he obtained parts from Sweden to replace the rear shock absorbers, equally efficiently. In this last instance I’d been told by Kwik Fit I needed a new exhaust (over £1,000) and another garage told me the knocking was some welding that needed doing (which I had done, took five mins but obviously didn’t solve the issue. I can’t recommend this garage high enough. Honest advice, fair pricing and no bull…t. You can visit here in total confidence. Many thanks Paul and staff. Regards Allister

We made a 180 mile round trip to have our Volvo XC70 inspected and repaired as more local independents showed little or no interest. A loan car was made available for the duration and the overall pricing was competitive too. Bought 2 cars from Paul in the last 5 years. No complaints at all a V70 first then an S80 still using the S80 daily. Would recommend to anybody who would like a Volvo. I will go there again when i need a replacement. But that could be a while it's still going strong.

Saw a lovely xc70 for sale, so went to see it. No sales patter, left to my own devices to examine the car and given the keys for a test drive on my own. Where else would let you do that? Loved the car, but there were a few minor issues I wanted resolving. Nothing seemed too much trouble. I collected the car the following weekend, it was beautifully presented and everything was done as promised. I am a very happy customer, and won't hesitate to recommend this garage to friends and family.
