I bought my first ever discovery sport this week, and I can honestly say best experience I have ever had buying a car. There was no pushy sales technique which made me feel much more comfortable and not pressurised into making a decision at all. Tim dealt with the sale and he was just so easy to deal with, he listened to what I wanted and found the right car for me. He was then in regular contact with me from when I decided to purchase to pick up day. Due to work commitments I was only able to get to the garage after 5pm and I went twice once to purchase once to pick up, both times I was there after closing and it was no bother. I have since also had a follow up call from Tim checking I was happy which is fab customer service.
Tom dealt with the finances side of things and he was clear with his explanation and made sure I was happy and understood everything with my purchase. Both have been a pleasure to deal with and I will definitely go back again when it’s time for another car. Highly recommend

After seeing an available car online on Sunday evening, my husband and I decided to make a 2 hour journey to view it the following day. We phoned Inchcape first to check it was still available and Andrew was absolutely fabulous. He got the car ready for us so that when we arrived there was no waiting around. Generally I'm not a fan of buying cars but the experience at Inchcape made it a pleasant one. The staff were most helpful and gave a top level of service. The vehicle handover was very thorough with all of the vehicle controls explained in full. We did have to wait a short while for the vehicle to be valeted but while we did, Sam Longland who we were dealing with treated us to lunch, can't say fairer than that. A day after the purchase we received a follow up email and call just to see how we we're getting on with our new Land Rover, thumbs up

Brought my Discovery Sport in because the service indicator came on after 7k miles. Was told that unburnt fuel had entered the oil and thus contaminated it, necessitating an oil change. Was told that this was nobody’s fault and quoted £150 for an oil and filter change. In retrospect I think that this is a design fault. I refused the oil change and did it myself with the correct parts for £55. I fully appreciate that a profit needs to be made, but I hate being ripped off

Very good personal service from Phil Kitching in sales. We were able to ring up and take a car out for an extended test drive the same day. Buying the vehicle was easy and straight forward. After sales care was excellent, a problem we had with the seat was quickly resolved . The only negative comment is the cramped site but we understand that Hunters will be moving in 2018 so that this will be resolved.

Excellent , car picked up in the morning, service department informed me that the camera required new software which it was not accepting and if the Technical Dept had not got back to them could the car be kept overnight. This was not the case and the car was delivered back to me on the same day with everything working and cleaned, it was just a shame that I only had the car 2 weeks and 50 miles being driven when the fault occurred

I had a battery problem on a 4 year old XF and the service department pulled out all the stops to get my car booked in to get sorted. The work was carried out with lots of feedback on what was needed and how long this would take. On top of that they also suggested that my front tyres would need replacing soon and they could fit them in the time available, meaning I would not have to make a seperate trip. On returning my car Girish explained fully what had been done and of course all over a coffee. Lastly my shiny cleaned & serviced car was handed back to me, well done Inchcape for excellent cusomer service.

This is on behalf of my 78 year old father.
Viewed an evoque. Initially all appeared fine, test drove the vehicle. Was happy with the car. Part exchanging merc gla. Exchange value was low, when we questioned it, it became hard work for them. The car salesman was soon told to deal with another customer, which we felt was very rude.
Picked the approved used car up a few days later, didn’t deal with the first salesman who was around ?? Why. He must of been busy with a high end customer spending £50k plus.
Got the car home, the next morning noticed a problem (noise) which couldn’t be heard unless the car was in drive and the car door was open. We had travelled from Nottingham so York was to far to travel too for a 3rd time. Took the car in, told the engine had to be removed as the timing tensioner were making a loud noise, also that the reversing camera needed to be changed on a so called approved used vehicle.
This has put a lot of stress on my father and upset him, I know he only spend 25k but please I would of expected these problems to of been repaired prior to the car being advertised.
Wouldn’t buy from York again. Got to say thank you to Nottingham to repairing the car.

After purchasing my new Jaguar F-Pace in September I asked if I could change the registration plate to my retained personal plate a few months into the new year as the new number would then be old. I called in the other day on the of chance just to book it in and see if there was any charges for making up the plates, changing the registration documents and fitting the plate. I was told by one of the sales staff after handing over the paperwork I had brought with me, ‘not a problem, have a cup of coffee and I’ll see what we can do’. So I sat there enjoying an excellent cup of coffee and catching up on a few emails and before I knew he was back with my documents saying ‘it’s all done’, the DVLA have been informed and the private plates were on my car ready to drive away and no charge.
Absolutely brilliant service. It’s this level of customer services that keeps me going back again and again to get my Jaguars from Incape York 😃

Defender booked in for warranty work on broken door lock. Had the car 9.5 hours. On picking the car up I was told I would have to take the car back as the front diff was leaking. This means another 2 week wait for a loan car and for me to find another 3 hours for the two return trips to Hunters. Would Armstrong Massey have sent the car back with an oil leak....No. I have given 3 stars because the valet was excellent.
