Our company was looking at contract hire options on electric vehicles. Upon review the MG Brand seemed to offer a high spec, low cost option compared to other marques. I visited Minstergate our local dealer and was dealt with quickly and professionally, given a test drive and quote all on the same day. We placed an order them within a few days to ensure delivery for the required date We have subsequently been given a revised lower cost and confirmation that the delivery date will be met. All in all an excellent experience to date.

We finally received our shiny new MG after buying it in September last year. Ian kept us informed and updated on any progress. Very happy with the car and the service we received albeit a very long wait which seems to be the norm in the current climate. He even managed to help us with a temporary car at a much better price than it would be to hire one elsewhere. Very much appreciated! Would highly recommend.

Having ordered our New Car the MG ZS 1 Ltr Turbo we were contracted regularly by our salesperson Ian Creek who kept us up-to date with expected delivery dates etc. The service we received up on visiting the showroom was first class, absolutely no pressure and the buying of the car was all about what we wanted and that’s how we were treated. Upon the arrival of the car it was made ready for us collect at our time and convenience and was ready to drive away at the agreed time. Once again no rush at all with Ian taking his time to explain everything about the features on the car and answering all our questions for us. Without doubt a outstanding buying experience from this showroom and in particular our salesperson Ian. I would highly recommend a visit to Minster Gate MG York if you were thinking of purchasing a car, you will not be disappointed.

Have just collected my shiny new MG HS PHEV from Minstergate MG and Ian and what a delight! The car is something else (and not the subject of this review) but the service from Ian was brilliant. As with any new car at present, there was a healthy delay in delivery. I ordered in Nov and the car arrived at the end of July! However, throughout the waiting time, Ian kept in touch with updates and news. At original sale there was no 'car salesman' pitch or hard sell, and Ian was polite, helpful but most of all human and friendly. My good lady will be in the market for a car in the near future, I will be giving Ian and the team at Minstergate a call. Well done, and thank you.

Having driven MG's in the past I was really excited to explore the new range. This was my first new car purchase after 15 years of driving Renault and I have to say how blown away I am with the value the MG3 provides. It is an exceptional car for its price range, with my only criticism being it deserves a more economical engine. That said however, the drive, look and handling of the car is fantastic and it is really fun to drive. Minstergate MG York were also really easy to do business with, and my overall buying experience was fantastic with a great deal, and no hassle. Would gladly recommend both the car and the dealer without question!

My experience at Minstergate MG York was okay. Its clean inside, they let me test drive a vehicle, handover went smooth and people were friendly. What more could you ask for? However when buying my first ever brand new car I feel it could have been a bit more of a special experience. My car was outside when I thought it was going to be in the show room, and I was hoping to have a grand reveal like they do at Audi or BMW etc but I didn't get that either. I understand they are budget friendly cars but I feel if they went that extra step it would have been amazing. There was also a couple of scratches I noticed on the inside and a couple of threads coming away on the seats and steering wheel. Therefore I have to give a 7/10 overall. Nice car though, and suits me for what I need it for without breaking the bank.
