I was looking for an affordable run around and by chance came upon this place. My experience from start to finish was stressfree and enjoyable. Adam was excellent, friendly and very professional. When I went to collect my car Mario was also very professional and explained everything to me. They both said that I could call them if I had any questions. I'm very happy with my purchase. Very friendly, no pushy sales or pressure to buy anything. Was extremely helpful looking up past MOT’s online and checking the vehicle history. Came with 12 months MOT and re-gassed the air conditioning free of charge. Also got me another key cut and coded for a very reasonable fee. I bought a Ford Focus from here, and having had an extremely poor customer service experience at a big dealer up the road, I was wary when I came in here of having to do the whole process again. However Adam was very efficient, and made the whole process pain free. He was very helpful in giving me a complete walk around of the car, before I drove it away, showing me how everything works. Will definitely recommend this place, much much more pleasant and quicker and helpful than the bid well known dealer.

Highly recommended, to be honest this is the best place ever I have bought a used car from in my whole life. I didn't mean that I was happy with the recent car but I did mean how they deal with me when I was not satisfied with the car. Perfect! Travelled 170 miles by train on the strength of previous reviews to buy a car from Value Cars York and I'm glad I did. Out of five dealers e-mailed about various cars Adam was the only one to satisfactorily answer my simple question, and within two hours on New Year's Eve in his case too! Very helpful gentleman, picked me up from the train station, paperwork all in order and sorted the road tax while I was there. I would happily travel the same distance to buy from here again.
