I rent cars fairly often from other places and went to Thifty Boucher Road for a van this time. Was amazed that I didn't get the usual pushy "upgrade" sales pitch and similar to get more money out of me. They were just nice people who wanted me to have a great experience. Without a doubt, the place to rent a car in Belfast!

As they were considerably cheaper than the other car hire companies I wasn't sure what to expect, however I was more than happy with the service. Pick-up/drop-off quick and easy, good car and unlike other companies they did not put any pressure to take out their excess insurance. All in all a very positive experience with this car hire company, I would have no hesitation in recommending them and I will certainly use them again when visiting NI.

M. O.Super service. Thrifty on Boucher Road really got us out of a pickle. They had what we needed and let us go where we wanted with it, all at very short notice. They were in fact the only place in Belfast that could supply. The vehicle was immaculate with 37 miles on the clock. The service at the desk and from the rest of the team was exceptional. The lady who worked with us was helpful, efficient and lovely, providing an all-round excellent service experience. We skipped out of the office pondering what a happier place the world would be if we all did our jobs with such efficiency and cheer.
The whole process was reassuring, smooth and entirely hassle-free, right back to handing over the key and signing out.
'Thrifty' might be something of a misnomer in fairness, but not everything in life is about getting the rock-bottom price.
