I rented for the first time from Green Motion this weekend. The experience was excellent: the car was perfect, the rates are highly competitive, and the staff are very down to earth and friendly. I would definitely use them again, and would recommend people give them a try.

Amazing service and a great van. The van was actually larger than expected, and I spoke to Ishaq who said he will try and get the high spec vehicle if possible. It was in excellent condition and had Android Auto, about 8 USB ports, heated seats, and a lot of other extras. It drove really well and smooth, no problems at all. Ishaq and Kamil were really helpful with their service, both the collection and drop off were very smooth, quick, and very COVID compliant. They were very flexible about the seats and helped me dismount the extra seats which were very heavy and really complicated to take out so I could fit some extra luggage. They also recommended some options and offered a discounted upgrade to an automatic car and a fuel policy (pre purchasing) which worked well for me as I was driving a lot of miles. Overall, highly recommend these guys. Could not have expected a smoother experience or a better car. I had to drive nearly 450 miles in a 24 hour period, and the car was very comfortable and made the drive quite enjoyable.

From the start I had a really great friendly service. It was easy and quick, my details were entered online and very quickly verified when I collected the vehicle. The Peugeot 208 was a fantastic, immaculate 2020 model. The return process was equally easy and quick. My deposit was returned to my credit card literally within minutes of returning the vehicle. Wonderful car renting experience with Green Motion Car & Van Rental. We hired a car for 3 weeks and customer service was top notch from start to finish. Pick up was easy though plan for a bit of extra time. Hamad took us around and through the car in good detail and this was very much appreciated. Life savers. Excellent service. I was left high and dry by another company, after showing up to the pickup location to find they had closed earlier than advertised online, despite not notifying me but having accepted my booking (and taking payment). I frantically searched around and noticed Green Motion was located nearby. I arrived at their premise at 17.20 on a Friday, and in about 30 minutes was driving away with the van I needed for that evening. All done with a smile and friendly attitude. They also did the most thorough and honest pre-check on body work, etc, with me I have ever experienced from a hire company either here or abroad, and explained very clearly what does and does not trigger a charge to the excess deposit. I like that their base prices are cheaper than most places I could find, and they give you good flexibility on mileage options, acceptable level of excess, etc. So you can customise cost vs your own excess risk while remaining competitive at all levels it would seem. I also returned the vehicle first thing saturday morning, and was parked outside before they opened. One of the members of staff responsible for receiving vehicles arrived early, and saw me waiting. He asked if I was in a rush and offered to start checking me in, before his shift would have even started. Really excellent, I recommend using these guys wherever possible. Even if you were to find something a couple of pounds cheaper, use these guys, because it is worth the difference for the smooth service. Best van/car hire company I've ever dealt with.

The service and attention I received from this guys was exceptional. I took me 10 minutes to do the paperwork in the office and I was ready to go with the car, no issues at all. I rented the car from 8am to 6pm and I got stuck in traffic on my way back, they allowed me to return the car next day at 8am with no additional charges. This is the second time I've booked through Green Motion and the quality of service is good. Great value, friendly staff and nice cars. There is a check-in service where you can email photos of your documents in advance-license, passport, proof of address, dvla check code which should save time on the day when collecting (albeit this didn't work properly for me unfortunately as they all didn't upload for some reason) They've adapted the small size office well to reduce risk of spreading covid 19 with screens, floor markers and hand sanitiser.

Had to rent a car while mine was in a garage for a trip to see a relative. To be honest I was little skeptical about renting from them as they looked a new company and I was not happy with the limited milage deal I was getting but due to the last mimute plan I did not have many options and in a way I am glad. Car was clean, the process was quick, Martin was professional and explained all the small details about the contract. I even got the call the evening before I was to return the car which I personally feel was nice especially to someone who might have hired the car for a longer period, the reminder is always helpful and I also liked the way they positioned the call not to just ask if I am returning then car but if I would need it for a longer period. I know it might be seen as a sales gimmick but I rather look at the positive side. And when I returned I also got a small goodwill gesture on the milage which was nice of them. I have rented car before from different dealers but I must say Green Motion did impress me with their service but as I always believe it is easier to be No1 but much more difficult to remain there and I sincerely hope that they continue with the same level of excellent service in future.

Very happy with the service i received with Greenmotion. Prices are very competitive against other rental agencies, and overall didn't have any issues with the car during my one week rental. Only thing worth noting is there may be less leniency with certain scratches i.e. alloys and bodywork scuffs etc so while i wouldn't mark them down for it, just take extra care and you won't have any issues.
