He met with our florist a couple of times weeks before the wedding to ensure she could create a gorgeous custom display of flowers for the car; it further enhanced the look of the beautiful Cadillac. John also worked with our band, photographer and videographer to make the day go smoothly. John was punctual, and the car was a show stopper! John drove it expertly through the narrow streets of Edinburgh, even handling all the speedbumps. We really felt like he was excited to be part of our day, and enjoyed getting moments to chat with him. Thank you, John!

C.I always thought that I wanted a Rolls Royce if I ever got married but then I saw the Lincoln Capri and fell in love as it was just perfect! We hired the Lincoln for our wedding on 29th May 2021, the car was immaculate and Richie our driver was so polite, friendly and helpful. Richie arrived in plenty of time and was very accommodating during and after the ceremony. He then made my younger son's day when he let him sit behind the wheel after dropping us off. V. C.Ever since I was little I always wanted a 'fancy' car for my wedding. After getting engaged in 2018, I took to Google in search of 'fancy' cars for my big day. I came across Edinburgh Classic Wedding Cars and from the very first email everything was so professional and smooth. John was really lovely, and when my original choice of the Ivory Beauford Tourer was booked for my day, John quickly suggested the Silver/Grey Beauford Tourer instead, and after seeing them both, I fell in love with the Silver/Grey one!
Unfortunately, due to COVID, our wedding was postponed a year, however I was so relieved that my car was still available for our new date! When it arrived at my house to take me to the church, the car was even more impressive than I remember! Our chauffeur, Raymond, was brilliant! So professional, yet such a lovely, friendly and helpful guy.
Sitting in the back of the car after getting married, roof down, complimentary champagne in hand, I really did feel like Royalty! I would highly recommend Edinburgh Classic Wedding Cars and just want to say a huge thank you to John, Raymond and the team! :)

C. D.I hired the Daimler DS420 State Limousine in silver/grey for my wedding on June 20th 2019. The car was really good value and John was really prompt and helpful through the booking process. We had Billy as our driver and he was wonderful! He arrived early, provided us with a drink of fizz and he even escorted me to up to the chapel, carrying the train of my dress. Nothing was too much bother for him. We were able to create some truly memorable photos when Billy worked together with our photographer and drove us a short distance from the venue to a fantastic view. I wouldn't hesitate to review Edinburgh Classic Cars. Definitely money well spent!

The drivers Martin, Neil and Barry were very professional and up for a good laugh with our wedding guests and Hotel staff, so much so they asked for the company info to invite them for Open days. The owner John remained optimistic in the months leading up to our date, given all the changing Covid restrictions which threatened the wedding itself. He was always available when we (the wife) needed to chat about such changes and re-assured us he would do everything in his power to make sure our day was special, which it was. Jonny was fabulous, he was really quick with communication and arranged everything really efficiently. Their prices are extremely reasonable and the cars are beautiful and clean. The selection of cars were stunning, however another couple had already booked one of the cars we were interested in. No problem however as John went the extra mile and sourced the same model of car from another company to allow us to hire both cars through Edinburgh Classic Wedding Hire.
John himself was very knowledgeable about the cars and put us at ease straight away by also taking a real interest in our wedding day. Other companies we visited were clearly knowledgeable in the cars however didnt seem anywhere near as interested as John about the day itself.
The pricing was very competitive and on the day the Chauffeurs were immaculate and professional. Raymond drove my wife and I around Edinburgh from the Church to the Hotel, including getting waved through the movie set for the Fast and Furious film! We had champagne and glasses for the journey and Raymond drove especially slow for my wife to ensure the wind wouldn't mess up her hair! :) a great part of the wedding day and I would definitely use them again if we ever need to hire a classic car for any other reason. Fully recommended.

We had our wedding during the covid 19 pandamic and John was understanding about if we could go ahead or not, given the constantly changing guidance and that family members lived outwith the country. With uncertainty looming over us until 2 days before the wedding, it was a stressful time for couples and businesses. Not once did John put any pressure on us to make decisions. Infact with rumours rising the week of our wedding that a local lock down could start a day before our wedding John assured us if we had to bring the wedding forward a day we could still have the cars. We had drivers Martin, Neil and Barry and they were fab!!! Martin did 2 unplanned pit stops on the day with no hassle. One was for photos and the 2 was to see an elderly family member to make sure she did not miss out on seeing us in our wedding gear! John also allowed my Dad to drive me on the last leg of the journey to the Chapel which my Dad still raves about and tells everyone! The cars were show stopping and team are very professional! Even when we went to see the cars 2 years ago and met the famous driver Raymond in the yard after doing a wedding, he took time out of his day, introduced himself and gave us hints and tips about picking cars. Cannot recommend Edinburgh classic wedding cars enough!
