I was looking for a motorhome that was small, handy for Scotland's narrow roads, and comfortable enough to stay in. For two travelers, Vanastasia is everything you need. We were surprised by the equipment because it had everything we needed and more. Complete bedding, small fridge, sink, cooker, and all the necessary dishes, cleaning and washing equipment... Even some food and drink to start the journey. We only missed an additional container for clean water, as the basic 16l is very small. Drinking water is much harder to come by in Scotland than in Slovenia, so we stocked up in the store. I was skeptical about the electricity before the trip, but it was no problem even though we were off the grid the entire time. In short, you move in with a suitcase of personal belongings and start your journey. And of course, I must mention the kindness of Mrs. Emma, who was available for all our questions. She is also very flexible for pick-up and drop-off of the motor home.

Vanastasia is like a mini home away from home. Emma has thought of everything from the beautiful Belfast sink with solid wood worktops to guides of Scotland, cute mini fridge a comfortable bed and much more! We did the NC500, stopping off in lots of beautiful free parking specs. The freedom Vanastasia gives allows you to really take a step back from everyday life and enjoy nature! Thank you so much for this amazing experience, keep doing what your doing!

We had a great time with Vanastasia, taking her around Scotland for a week was a great way to get to see the country in a completely different way. Whether you're new to campervans or a veteran I think you'll have a fantastic time with this lovely van! It comes with everything you can wish for - a little kitchen with all the plates, pans and pots you need, a small fridge, running water, camping chairs and a table and many other little things that make your camping trip nicer. The van is the perfect size for the smaller roads in the north of Scotland and easy to drive. Emma was always at hand to answer any questions we had or to give us recommendations and you do really feel that she's running the business with a lot of heart and passsion. We were very impressed with how well everything was organised starting with the booking and payment system. Can very much recommend booking with Live the Wild!

First van experience and first holiday as a three for my wee boys 1st birthday and boyfriends 30th and it did not disappoint!!! Loved every minute, the van has absolutely EVERYTHING you can think of, loads of wee details!! We loved it and will be booking again soon! Also have never met a nicer host!!! WOW what a weekend in Vanastasia. Emma had thought of everything to make our stay comfortable and cosy. Kitted out to the highest possible standard and such lovely touches everywhere you look. From the Panther milk in the fridge (delicious) to the toiletries and pantry items. We loved every second of our 3 night stay which made our visit to Inverness and the Belladrum Festival perfect. Will definitely book again

Emma was very responsive via email and quick to accommodate any need or question we had. My husband and I were wanting to take a road trip but had no gear. We quickly got what we needed to have an enjoyable trip to the highlands! She also has an amazing camper van for rental that we saw and would definitely recommend to anyone looking to explore beautiful scotland!

You know a business has excellent customer service when you give them a 5 star rating without having actually used their services... My partner and I reserved a campervan rental from Live the Wild only to find out that UK insurers would not cover us due to lack of UK driving experience (we are Americans, so word to the wise!). Throughout the whole process of trying to find coverage, Emma was extremely helpful, providing multiple recommendations of third party insurers, reaching out to her insurance multiple times with questions from me, and reading through documents to help me make sense of US insurance policies. She was super responsive despite an 11 hour time difference, and flexible and kind throughout the process even though we ultimately were not able to keep our reservation. Next time we visit Scotland, we will have the necessary experience under our belts and will be sure to rent a van from Live the Wild!

Oh my goodness! We've been so lucky to get an early preview of Emma's baking, and I have to say that everything we have tasted so far has been delicious! It's really hard to pick a favourite, but if pressed I think it would have to be either the lemon buttercream cupcake or the raspberry dark chocolate teacake, both of which were incredibly nommy! As a carnivore I was particularly surprised just how good the vegan options turned out - I don't think I'll ever manage to give up my meat and cheese, but when it comes to cakes I think I could be converted. We can't wait to try the full Afternoon Tea menu...but we're just hoping that we can fit through the front door once we've finished...this is NOT going to be a diet day!

We had an afternoon tea for 4 for Mothers' Day and it was delightful. From the beautiful packaging to the fact even the oatcakes and jam were homemade, it was just perfect. Everything was delicious and fresh-tasting, clearly made from high quality ingredients with care and love. This was an experience we will definitely be repeating!
