From the moment I enquired about the booking I had a great experience. From the hand over with Stuart and his son to the actual vehicle itself, the process was top class! Gave a great overview of how the vehicle worked so we were able to utilise the van to wild camp and attend sites, The details in the van itself were also great, branded mugs, all the pots and pans and anything you needed as well as a much needed brolly for Scottish weather was much appreciated. It was our first time hiring a van and Stuart really put us at ease and we left feeling confident about our trip. Thanks again Stuart, we'll definitely be using you again for our next trip.

We rented Iris for 8 nights for two people. It was our first trip in a van. From the first contact we were very happy, Stuart and Kevin answered all our questions and gave us precious advices about our itinerary! We received a perfect welcome, Kevin explained us all the functioning of Iris and all the comfort it offers. Indeed, Iris is a superbly equipped van, you will not miss anything, we slept very well during our stay. It was a perfect trip for us in a very well equipped van, easy to drive and the rental companies are more than up to the task. I highly recommend you to choose Miles Away if you want to travel by van, you will not be disappointed!

Me and my partner Lian recently hired a campervan from Stuart and Kevin for 4 days camping in Elie. Stuart was fantastic when answering any queries before we arrived at his house to pick it up and when we got there, he gave us a great breakdown of how to use the van. The van itself was awesome and perfect for what we needed it for. What an experience from booking to return.. These guys know everything u need to know, amazing service, friendly and very professional. We couldn't have asked for a better get away in Clover (the camper an we hired) spotless, every mod con u need and perfect to drive. Would highly recommend givin Kevin or Stuart a call if ur lookin for the perfect getaway. The best honeymoon a couple could ask for ❤️

We had a great experience hiring a campervan from Miles Away. Booking was really easy on their website. I also called with a couple of questions, Stuart was so friendly and knowledgeable. Stuart and Kevin were so accommodating in arranging a pick up time that worked for us too. The van itself was great, it was immaculate (inside and out) and had everything you could need. The little touches like the tea/coffee basket were lovely. We all had a great sleep in the van, all the bedding provided was cosy, comfortable and smelled lovely (fresh laundry smell, which I love!) Our wee girl absolutely loved the pop up roof bed, it was surprisingly easy to put up and bring back down again. This was our first time travelling in a campervan and I would definitely book with Miles Away again in the future. Highly recommend!

We’re recently back from a trip in Clover doing the NC500. We had the most amazing experience with Miles Away. Clover was a dream, spotless, and the perfect size for us 2 adults and our dog Mac. Collecting the van was super easy and Kevin showed us how to use the infotainment, popping up the roof, and where all equipment was kept. We had a great weekend away in Iris and loved every aspect of the van. Kevin and his family run this business so well and they go over and above to do what they can to make sure your trip is a success. Would absolutely recommend these guys if you are looking for a comfortable trip, the bed is amazing!

These campers are absolutely superb! We took Iris for 3 days and visited the west coast. It was our first time in a camper and Iris seemed quite luxurious compared to many of the old VW vans we've seen advertised. Very comfortable. Very clean. Everything you could possible need such as chairs and tables to sit outside were provided and I particularly liked the complimentary beer and Prosecco provided - and of course we are able to chill them to perfection in the onboard fridge. At night we slept well on the fold out bed with mattress topper, duvet and comfy pillows. And in the morning we had no issues with sunlight as there is decent blockout curtains throughout the camper. It's a very comfortable drive and easy with the automatic gear box. I can't recommend this company enough. We will definitely hire from here again! Service with a smile guaranteed!! I cannot recommend this company enough. Everything was perfect from start to finish! Kevin was super helpful when we were enquiring about hiring the van initially and answered our 2 million questions 🙈. The van itself was absolutely spotless when we picked it up and was equipped with everything we could have asked for and more, including a complimentary bottle of bubbly, can of beer and Scottish biscuits! We thought we would hire this van as a one-off experience but already looking at dates to book it again! Take my word for it that this company is second-to-none for both their professionalism and personal touch! Thank you Kevin (and your dad) for making our experience so perfect! See you again in June (number of people still pending hence haven’t booked quite yet)!
