Had a great first experience renting a VW California Grand 600 from Campervantastic. There was a minor issue with our van on the day of pick up (damage to the undercarriage from the previous hire) which slightly delayed our pickup but Campervantastic were excellent at communicating and got us on the road in lightening quick time given they had to get engineers in the morning of! The van was well equipped, fantastic quality (brand new 21 reg, hardly any miles) and we had a blast exploring the Welsh countryside for a week. We were the envy of many campers with our brand new big VW. Already deciding dates to do our next adventure!

Great range of VW Campers, it was first time we've been on a campervan trip. We had the new VW Grand California 600 for a week, it is an awesome machine! It took three of us far and wide in comfort, the roof mounted solar panel aids off grid camping. It was a great experience overall. The Campervantastic team are friendly and helpful, I would recommend them.

Just hired a VWCalifornia Ocean from Campervantastic. I've used them many times for several years and I always get great service. They always guarantee that the vans are in good condition. Just a shame they can't guarantee the weather as well ;-) Bit of a wet one this week but still had a good time. I would highly recommend them and will be back again soon.

We hired the van for a ski trip to the French Alps ( as our Jeep died on us just before the trip) with our 10 month old Golden Retriever. The help, advice and service was second to none! No-one better. I have used Campervantastic for every summer holiday for four years in a row. I take two boys around Europe; 3,000 miles this year. I would not use anyone else. The vans are incomparably great; the service is great; Steve and Ryan (and Andrea before) are excellent. I don't know why people do anything else.

Rented a VW California Ocean(which turned out to be a new 2019 model) for a 24 night tour around the UK(London to the Shetland Islands). The two of us enjoyed every minute of our trip and didn't want it to end. The service was amazing - from pre booking(answering all our queries) through to the return of the vehicle. The briefing upon collection was well structured and was very reassuring considering it was our first time renting a campervan. We dealt mainly with Ryan who we found to be very friendly, knowledgeable and genuine. The camper(which we named Jamie) was a pleasure to drive, had plenty of storage(well done VW) and easy to setup/pack up. The inclusions that Campervantastic provided were also very well considered. Would definitely rent from them again and would not hesitate to recommend them to others.

Excellent service from these guys. Picked up the van for a weekend on Thursday. Ryan showed me around the van and how everything worked in great depth with some excellent tips too. Van drove like a dream and the 200+BHP 7 speed engine with double clutch made gear changes imperceptible. we were camped on a slope so the included levelling ramps were a godsend. Everything worked as it should and was in pristine condition. I particularly liked the wine cooler in the front dash! Cant fault the service and cant wait to hire another!
