5 star review! Hired a transit van, rang on the Tuesday for the Saturday to Monday. Cheapest deposit and hire price that i could find. Had an issue with the van on Saturday night, gave them a text 9.30pm Saturday they rang me straight away and opened the lot on the Sunday am just to change the van for me. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend and will be using again for future needs. Well done Abco!

Needing a van on short notice during a pandemic is an absolute nightmare. Every van rental was either unavailable or fully booked. Richard at Abco though came through for me like an absolute Hero. Not only did he have stock available for the weekend; but when I called him up to ask if for details so I could book the van in at the local tip - he said the van he had wouldn't be suitable - and did his best to find a more suitable van. Cheap and cheerful, more than brilliant customer service. Cannot recommend Abco and Richard highly enough - they really saved the day for me.

Absolutely spot on company. I called to hire a van the same day as I was let down by another hire company and he called me back within a couple of hours to tell me one was ready. Very polite and friendly, everything was explained clearly and would Absolutely use this company again 👍

Got the van on 5 minutes notice, the man was really friendly and accomodating. Van could perhaps do with a little valet here and there but otherwise, does the job fine, even had a tail lift!

Great friendly service but the van could have done with a good clean i was asked what the van would be used for i said house move so would need to be clean in the back for bedding mattress etc it was dirty with garden stains on the floor so take plenty blankets or plastic sheeting but the van done the job with only 1 back door that opened Never mind..

I would recommend ABCO to anyone looking to removals or such like. I have found the owner a very helpful and amicable man willing to help at any stage. These vans are for lugging stuff around and as such aren't pretty but have four wheels and an engine. Unlike other companies, you don't end up bankrupt for a tiny dent or scratch as this company deals in real world work...

Used a few times from transits to Luton's. A bit rough and ready but all roadworthy, inexpensive and do the same job that a brand new van will do without putting up your house as deposit. If I'm not mistaken half day hire used to be available

Always go to abco have done for years it does what it says on the tin a vans a van if you want furniture protected obviously bring ya own ropes n old blankets it's not rocket science for coppers extra it pays to get a Luton and petrol garage is just up on the west road 2mins I would and have recommended time after time.

Probably one of the best can hire places in the North East. Sure the band's aren't new, but they're maintained and they do what they're supposed to. You don't need to worry about being ripped off with can hire places charging you for imagined knocks and scratches. Best of all, he's inexpensive and a great lad.

Im the owner of this company. if REMY KEELY in there review asked if i would still have vans for hire the following day if he rang then i really cant see how he expects us to know if we will be fully booked as it depends on the demand that afternoon. As for hearing from a friend i thought reviews were from personal experiences NOT HEAR SAY!!

I like this cheap and cheerful van hire. The only unfortunate thing is the problem of picking up the van empty and returning it empty. You end up donating a lot of diesel to the company at the end of the day. Cheap trick.
