Booked a half day picnic boat so we could enjoy breakfast on the broads. Could have definitely gone for a full day as our exploring was limited to 2 hours either way. Reasonably priced, staff were really helpful. Would recommend

Nice guys who squeezed us in at the last minute. The boats were well kept, and all the safety briefing, equipment etc explained and given well. We were a couple of mins late returning the boat, and nothing was said, just a friendly welcome. It's also dog friendly!

Booked 1/2 day boat hire but definitely needed a full day as we liked to stop which meant we didn't get that far as the boats were so slow. Brilliant fun though

Good little company set in the middle of Wroxham . We hired a 8 person boat 🚤 for a couple of hours out on the water , just the right amount of time with grandchildren on board . Boat was clean and tidy and did what was expected of it , we event to Salehouse Bro art and back .. nice little trip . All the staff were helpful and knowledgeable and gave us a short lesson on safety etc . All in all 9out of 10 as their is always room for improvement 😉

Highly recommend this hire company. Easy to book online. When we turned up, we were greeted in a friendly manner. The boat and safety instructions were given to use before we departed. We hired the picnic boat for the whole day and we weren't disappointed. It was very clean and toilet was useful too. Before we set off we decided not to use the gas as we didn't bring a kettle or cups on holiday, however during our trip we realised they provided a kettle and cups and saucers. Shame they didn't mention this when booked but didn't ruin our trip. Would definitely use this company if we visited again.

This boat trip was awesome. Really easy to hire out for the afternoon, really well explained and we were really excited. Explained about the river rules and exciting views along the way. Had a lovely afternoon and the kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Will definitely return again for another lovely afternoon.

A great day. A bit of confusion over which boat we’d booked but once we were given the right one everything worked out well. Opted for an electric boat which was quiet and spacious. There was shade under the canopy and plenty of outside space at the back too if you wanted to catch some rays. Note there are no toilets at the boat yard so if you need to go before your trip use the ones in the shopping centre.

A lovely day out. Great bunch of people. All questions answered. We even got boxed it and we're slightly late returning the boat. I called to inform them and they were nothing but courteous and polite. It really was a great experience. Highly recommended.

We rented a picnic launch for 4 hours - competitive price, will seat up to 9 I think. Had a small sink and a double gas hob (we didn’t use that, so gas was switched off for us) and best of all a small toilet. Staff. Very friendly and helpful, made sure our life jackets fitted. Our boat was easy to operate, all the kids had a go. We managed 18 miles in the time allocated. One thing I hadn’t considered, the boats make a noise. So nice as it is chugging along, you can’t hear much outside the boat unless its switched off. 4 hours was. Perfect time for the kids without them getting bored. Was very easy to find as your enter Wroxham. We parked in one of Roys car parks and had a short walk to the launch site. I had booked a week in advance, you can’t book on website currently but phone booking was very easy and probably better that doing long internet form filling!

Excellent place for day boat hire. Reasonably priced, well kept boats which are easy to navigate for a beginner. Nice service and clear instructions from the gentleman at the office which made our day on the water very enjoyable.

Myself and my partner had a great day on the broads on Wednesday. We hired a boat for 3hrs, which was plenty of time to get to Horning, have a short stop and come back. The gentleman who explained how to use the boat was super helpful and guided us through our journey. Only reason this isn't a 5 star review is due to the young lad who wasn't really helpful explaining how to put the life jacket on, almost a little rude. Overall though, a great trip out!

A great day out on a picnic boat on the Norfolk Broads. Got some lovely photos and we all had a go at steering the boat. The only 2 issues I had was that with other companies they physically show you how to steer the boat, stop and moor up before letting you loose. These didn't. Also the ropes to tie the boat to were incredibly short. Not really long enough to do a proper job trying up.

Great little boat company that were really helpful! We wanted to just rent for a few hours in the afternoon and after visiting 4 other places no one would rent to us as they were "done for the day", however the helpful guys here allowed us to rent for two hours which was fantastic! So if you come here without a booking, try them in the afternoon and they may have a boat available. Almost thought we would go back without having cruised the broad. They were very helpful showing us how to use the boat and pointed us in the best direction. Will use them next time we are here. Thanks!

Impressed lovely quiet electric boat, will definitely be using again next time. The interior could have done with a bit of a spruce up (loose flooring, odd metal chairs while steering) but not worth removing a whole star as everything else was great.

Very friendly and helpful - We didn't book but managed to get a boat for 2 x hours @ £60.00 - We loved it on the river and had a great time. The only thing was we were given a boat with dining chairs in it. Whilst it made it quite funny for us. We noticed when we got back that ALL the others had proper benches and seats for everyone ! So unsure why we were given what looked like the oldest boat they had ! But very enjoyable for sure !

Pre-booked for half a day, met up with a group of friends, 4 adults and 3 children. We had the best day, weather was great, couldn’t have asked for a nicer day out. Norfolk Broads is beautiful, we managed 2 stop offs, Ice cream boat and The Swan Inn for a lovely drink riverside. Couldn’t fault the service we received from Wroxham Launch Hire, highly recommended, hiring a boat on Norfolk Broads is a must!!!

Female receptionist (in photo) seemed quite rude and uninterested in the morning, made us feel quite unwelcome. Boats however were safe , with good initial training from the young male. Elderly grandparents managed to climb into boat ok. Reasonable price too.

Brilliant few hours on the beautiful Broads, Wroxham Launch Hire were great and there is a large free car park just around the corner off Station Road where as the car park at Broad Tours is a high priced pay and display. If you are just after a day boat, I recommend Wroxham Launch Hire.
