Everything went well. I chose Hertz despite the mixed reviews because the other companies in Oxford have really bad reviews. Was concerned about the rental I made through a third party (Expedia) because the Hertz web site couldn't handle return on Sunday (redirected me to a Hertz 24/7 web site that flat out didn't work). Everything turned out well: Car was waiting, people were nice, car was all I needed, unattended return worked fine. When I need a car in Oxford again these are the people I'll try first.

We had a very positive experience with Hertz. The staff member who served us was extremely helpful, provided clear explanations and assisted us in renting and returning our cars quickly. She was also really friendly which made everything more enjoyable. We would return again.

This is the second time I rented a car from this Oxford branch and On both occasions, I have been impressed by their service. On collection day, the car was ready and in immaculate condition, the admin process was quick and efficient and on return day,, the whole process was equally seamless. Special thanks to all staff for their friendliness and particularly to the lady at reception. Highly recommended.

I was very pleased with every aspect of my experience with this Hertz branch. The staff were very pleasant and prompt in both checking me in and getting me out. The car I had pre-selected was clean and ready for me when I arrived. They had no hidden fees or costs nor did they aggressively up-sell me not needed insurance coverages. They even arranged a taxi for my wife and I to get back to the train station after we returned the car. Just be aware that they are about a mile from the train station, a short flat walk or a quick taxi ride away.

I don't normally write reviews but the staff were so nice that I think I have to. Rented a van and it was quick, clean, cheap and most importantly not pushy. Will definitely be using them again!

My favourite Oxford van / car rental firm as they are usually cheapest (for small vans) and do special rates for returning business / customers. During COVID: they provide clean vans, and are not faffy about return fees (except if you don't refuel, where they do charge). Quick and good service. I just wish they got rid of their old small Vauxhall van (or at least replaced the old radio). It's a little outdated. That said: their small Fiat van is a good drive and their Mercedes Sprinter has an excellent radio setup and fuel efficiency. Really rate their personal service and Alexa knows how to look after customers.

I had the best experience with Hertz Oxford from pick up to drop off, they even paid for a taxi from and to Oxford station. They explained all details of the car and made sure I knew to return it with a full tank or they would charge me the cost of a full tank, no matter how much was needed to fill it. So I filled it up and there were no hidden surprises when I dropped it off. The staff were all friendly and professional at the same time. I will certainly use them again when I'm in the UK and with confidence, recommend everyone else to use them as well.

No problems with getting the car. Exactly as described with easy checkout. They explained everything I needed to know as I am not from around here and our cars have everything on the other side. 1 point off for the car only being 80% full of petrol and the agent stated he would put that in the rental note, and failed to do so.

Very efficient - they seem to have a better handle on technology than others (I had an awful experience at Inter-Rent/Europcar). Simple, fast and courteous process, both on pickup and return. Kia Cee'd impressed too.

The price was ok. The only issue is they normally sho pickup location as train station but you'll actually get a taxi to this place. My taxi fare was not refunded though even when they promised it would be.

Rented a passenger van to take my family to air port, the van was new, very clan, very nice Mercedes, for a very cheep price, I paid £36 for a day rent (maybe there was some discount) the stuff from the branch were nice polite and flexible, Down side: Found difficulties to get in touch via telephone call, also is not a local landline number so yo need to pay extra for the call
