Impressive day out- we did the the 4 hour option, surprisingly... we had plenty to do & places to go. Expert advice is given- and you have the flexibility to land / stop off at a pub. The time starts after your initial chat... which is super fair. 1 major tip: if you do 4 hours... like us, make sure you've your Sun protection! Thank you Whitestrand for your great offer & professional service.

Very happy with the boat ride. On arrival, we were given instructions on the estuary rules, directions and a map showing points of interest. Another member of the team showed us how to use the boat and took us out for a quick demo. We sailed for 2hrs, stopping over at a local pub. Very very beautiful and pleasant experience. Definitely on the to 'must do' list when visiting Salcombe - even in the rain. Everything was straight forward, explained and the staff were superb. Highly recommended.

Wow what a place What a beautiful place to go for boat hire or fairy ride . Amazing place for summer holidays It was very cheap and convenient . They running fairy in every half an hour to one hour . Very helpful staff .

We had an amazing time out on the cap400. It was so much fun, my 14 & 15 Yr olds really enjoyed sailing the boat. With lots of creeks to go up and down there's lots to see. Would recommend this trip. We didn't anchor the boat at a beach but you can!

A little apprehensive as The Hubby was steering but what a fab morning we had. Everything is explained clearly and the guys couldn't be more helpful, thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We were lucky to get a slot as you can imagine it's very busy so book in advance if you can to avoid disappointment.

Went out a couple of years ago and thoroughly enjoyed our boat trip, staff pleasant and knowledgeable and the boat was reasonably well kitted out. We were able to travel a good distance within the allotted time and take a lunch with us. Would definitely recommend and use them again.

2nd boat hire with Whitestrand in a Cap 400 boat. So much fun, clear instructions & advice given, so pressure taken off especially with a young family. We took dog and a picnic lunch in the boat with us and all felt like proper sailors by the end. Highly recommended.

The thing that really stands out with the Whitestrand Boat Hire Team is great friendly service. We had a boat for the whole week of our holiday. We randomly turned up and were kitted up and in our boat within 15 minutes every time, even when there were other customers being looked after too. Best of all when we got back we handed over the boat without the hassle of mooring, cleaning, refuelling.... Look no further. And if you can - even for a day, or a few hours - add a boat to your Salcombe holiday, it adds a whole new dimension. Look no further than Whitestrand, but make sure you book. BEST £40 SPENT IN SALCOMBE! We were thoroughly put off by the self-drive boat hire around the corner, then we stumbled across these guys! I instantly realised that this was a company not just interested in making money and actually wanted you to have a great time! We had CAP400 boat for just an hour but the whole family really enjoyed it! We will be back next year at high tide for 4 hours of fun! I highly recommend their professional, warm welcomed and friendly service!
