Good customer service, easy to communicate, even on an early Saturday morning! Good value for money. Able to drop off the van which made it so easy. Will definitely use the service again!

One of the few places where you can hire a minibus without a driver, so initially they were simply my only option for a trip to the O2 with a group of excited 11 year olds. The office location is tucked away on a residential street with permit parking, so if you’re planning on leaving a car there, it is a bit of a challenge. That said, the staff are very happy to lead you to a nearby side street where you can safely leave your own car, then bring you back to the office. They will of course repeat the process in reverse when you return your rental. The minibus itself was absolutely fine, and exceptional value for money compared to some. The damage assessment was accurate, and there is no suggestion that this is one of those companies who will try to take advantage. My final comment is about the employees, who are fast, efficient, courteous and friendly. I can’t fault them. I will definitely be using this company again.

The best value for money I could find by far in 2022, and the service was excellent with no fuss at all. I rented a large saloon for eight weeks and there wasn't any problem throughout. It was great to be dealing with a small local business rather than the national sharks for a change.

People need to know this. My experience of this company was faultless. Proffesional polite and off course very competitive price in comparison to the majors. Excellent find - always prefer to support a local business. Hired a SWB van on Saturday via their online booking system and then was able to pick up Sunday morning. This was one of the few places in Reading I could find that offered that option. Van in great condition, easy to drive and I was able to drop it back later that day after hours. Best prices in the area, the returnable deposit was returned on time **there wasn't a notification to say it had been returned, not sure if this is possible in the future but it's not necessary** Friendly staff helped when I messed up my dates, luckily there was a van available and they organised it without a fuss, the van itself was spotless and maintained as it should be, the late hours return system is simple and efficient and the older gent who showed me round the vehicle was nice to talk to.

Needed a van at the last minute, phoned at 17.55 and asked if they had anything, lady was very polite and advised yes will have a van for the next day, I phoned first thing the next day and advised would be down within the hr. Arrived at site, was helped straight away, whilst paperwork was being sorted I parked my car where they advised me to park. Got back to the site and van and paperwork ready. Van slightly dirty on outside, inside ok, which staff member apologized for, as it was last minute I wasn't worried about the van being dirty. I had a very pleasant experience with Caversham Vehicle Hire. It was my first time renting a van so although I have been driving for a while and am a very cautious driver, it was still a little daunting but they were very helpful and made the whole experience very easy and straightforward.
