I highly recommend this company. I had called them few minutes before closing time to hire a van as I needed it ASAP. They told me to come in, got the van ready for me and done the paperwork in good timing. The staff was really nice and polite, they were very informative and friendly. The van was clean, good price for the size and no hidden fees.

Car was clean both inside and outside which is a big plus. Members of staff, very helpful, assisted with all my enquiries when I first got the car and also when I brought it back. Very good and professional service. Priced very reasonably, van I rented was in excellent condition and worked perfectly for my needs moving home. Luton Taillift a must when moving, made life so much easier! Took only about 15 mins to do all the appropriate paperwork and then I was away. Vehicle check after returning was very professional - did not try to claim any existing damage was caused by me, and deposit refund issued without hassle. The only reason its not 5* is that I called in advance to be clear of all the costs, and was given the impression that they offered 200m free fuel. Admittedly, I should have known this was unlikely to be the case, but I did specifically ask them to outline all costs above the rental price listed online, and I was not informed of the cost for fuel. Feel this should have been made more clear. But would still definitely use again for either van or car rental.

Very friendly, great communication,easy pick up and brand new van. Pricing seemed very good at £65 per day for a long wheel base van. I would definitely recommend their service. I would not hesitate to use practical van hire again.

The tail lift was in mint condition and perfect for the task at hand. The sales person was very helpful, they called me to let me know i could collect the van earlier if i wished, which really helped me out. Great Service, really helpful and friendly Staff. Called multiple times as my plans kept changing, Practical were helpful on changing the times and days quite a few times. Van was lovely and clean and very fuel efficient. Managed to move house without a hitch.

We recently moved house over Christmas and therefore needed to hire a van. I phoned up and was helped by a lady called Sagal. She helped me to the right vehicle choice for what we needed and explained optional extras that we may need, such as a loading trolley. Nothing was pushed and it was entirely consultative. Sagal arranged for us to have the van for the maximum amount of time that we needed and during the period of hire, she contacted to let us know that a subsequent hirer had cancelled and we didn't need to rush the van back if we still needed it. When we returned the van, I stupidly left my keys in the cab and Sagal found them and kept them safe for me to pick up later. The business model is good albeit pretty standard for hiring vans. However, the highly professional service we received from Sagal made an otherwise very stressful time, a whole lot easier. Thank you very much, I highly recommend others to contact the Swindon Cheyney Manor branch if you need to hire a van. I certainly will again.
