I just wanted to share my gratitude and thanks to Jake and everyone at Swindon Car and Van rental. They are the first I call and I’ve used them for my vehicle hire on all occasions and currently have a van of there’s sat on my drive at home which was due back this morning but owing to a bereavement yesterday evening I couldn’t get the van back at 8-30 am. I emailed at 3am this morning to inform them of my situation as I was panicking but Jake took all the pressure away assuring me not to worry and all this before they even open for business. I especially want to thank Jake who told me to take all the time I needed even though the van was already booked out, he juggled things round to make sure I had no worries and that is why I just had to write a review now even at this sad time gathering my thoughts. I’ve never hired from anyone else and never would because Jake and the team have amazing customer service and put me the customer first as they always do. I wish I could give more than 5 stars because they always go above and beyond and that’s why if you ever need to hire a vehicle don’t hesitate. They are customer focused which as a company owner myself is is always my first priority and every vehicle I’ve hired has been well presented, excellent value and never given me a reason to use anyone else. Brilliant van and decent service. I had to wait a few mins as COVID rules meant that I couldn’t be in the office with another customer, which isn’t their fault, but meant that I couldn’t take the van until 15 mins after my pickup time. Other than that, spot on! Would recommend to anyone.

Brought a van to convert into a camper, Simon was amazing, unfortunately about two weeks into owning the van there was a some issue with the power steering. I emailed Simon expecting response within 24hrs Simon however rang me as soon as they opened and sorted out the issue straight away. Great experience! Quick and efficient, no messing around and on your way. I like the business logic whereby they charge the deposit and no more...then subtract the cost of the hire from the deposit and refund the difference back to you. This means you aren't paying £250 + 52 for a days hire...exceeding £300 on the day, this could be an inconvenience to other people! Different business logic that is far better than your Enterprise, Europcar and Hertz etc...and much cheaper! Strongly recommend.

Recently bought a van from these guy's. Had to upgrade my existing van via the clean air zone in Bath. Spoke to Simon regarding a van I saw online, paid a holding deposit on it straight a way. I rented a larger Bedford van for its tail lift for a long journey. The price was competitive, there were no restrictions on distance and they allowed me to drop off the next morning before 9:00am. The team were friendly, even though it was very busy. Definitely will use them in the future.

Excellent Customer Service Excellent Communication 5 star all-round. Only initially needed for a day as the AA couldn't supply me with a "Keep you on the road vehicle", ending up keeping vehicle for 7 days as not knowing from one day to the next if i still needed the vehicle or not. More expensive than other rentals in Swindon, and doesn't include some of the handy extras like straps that others provide. They do have more vehicles available, and the vehicle I rented came out in good, fully working condition.

We use these guys for different sized vans probably once or twice a month... We've tried other hire companies in the past but none are as easy to deal with!! Their vehicle return policy is far more flexible than other companies in town (they give you more than a 1 hour return slot at the weekend!!) meaning they are the obvious choice when we need transport... They always make us feel like a valued customer whether on the phone or in person... Once you've used Swindon Car and Van Rental, you won't go anywhere else!!

Easy and painless van rental, reasonably priced and friendly staff. The only thing that would be good is if the website was actually a booking system as the van we rented to start with and paid for via the website was not available, the booking was just cancelled on the following day. I was looking for a van to hire to carry all my camping glamping kit for my 10 night holiday. I booked with Enterprise then cancelled as I came across Swindon Car & Van Rental as the reviews were fantastic. I have just dropped off the van and can honestly say how impressed I am with this company. From start to finish they were fantastic and talked me through the rental as I have never drove or hired a van before! They were friendly and polite and no question seeemed silly to them. Enterprise were £800 including excess insurance where Swindon Car and Van Rental was more than half of this including the excess insurance! Will not go anywhere else... mabey a trip to Ikea is needed just so I can hire and drive a van! Gillian

Easily the best value and highest quality van and car rentals in the area. They have a great fleet selection. Only downside is that the cars have a 500 mile a week limit before you have to pay extra but they are like 100 a week cheaper and have a better excess than most places. I'd urge anyone looking for cars or vans to try this great location.

Purchased my van from hear over 12 months ago thought I would leave it a while so I could comment on the van. Firstly the service was amazing sorted my finance over the phone no hastle van was exactly as advertised couldn't of bein happier. I chose this car rental because it had best reviews on interent. At the beginnig I was bit confused as I did not get any response to my first mail when I asked about possibility of hiring a car. This was the only con side of the service. The staff is very friendly and helpful (when I came there for the rist time I realized why they had not replied - the place is really busy and the staff does not have much time), the car, that I hired twice, was well serviced, clean and there were no disputes upon returning the car such as scratches on the car Imay not spot when checking the car out. I can recommend this car rental. Thaks guys.

The best place to hire a van or car in Wiltshire used them many times never ever had a problem. I travel over 25 miles each way to use them as the van hires around chippenham and corsham are rubbish. BEST AROUND

I am exceptionally skeptical of Hire Van companies, having used practical van rental in Chippenham, from Cando contracts. Swindon Car and Van rentals are totally different. A pleasure to deal with, booking, collection and returning vehicle - excellent value too. if you're in Chippenham, I would recommend you travel the 30mins to deal with these guys, they really are that good.
