G. O.Beware there are 2 Hertz offices shown by Google in Telford and I went to the wrong one initially. I think Hertz should have Google correct this.
However, once there, the staff were very friendly and helpful and called a taxi for me to get to the train station. The taxi arrived in 5 minutes and its a 15 minute journey at most, to Telford Central at about £6 fare.

E.These guys are awesome. Let's just say I'm a convert to Hertz from Enterprise because of what the SSH team did and how they did it. Last minute request for a large automatic sedan, done. Then swap to another car, again automatic, to get me back to Heathrow, done. No fuss, no bother. Thanks guys, you made our vacation.
