Family owned rental company and always my first port of call for a hire vehicle. Simply the best. The vehicles are modern and usually well looked after. The hiring process is easy to understand and not overly expensive either. My only gripe is that they no longer hire out just for a Saturday you have to hire for a whole weekend, which I know is the same as most other companies but it was one aspect I found useful. A superior level of service, and friendlier more helpful staff still sets Kendall Cars head and shoulders above their competitors!

I asked to hire an economy car from the Woking branch but was told there were none unavailable on that day or the next day. I phoned the Guildford branch and they were very helpful and said there was a car available at their Ash branch. I picked the car up from Ash later that morning. I had the car for one week and then extended for another week. I knew the policy is to return the car by 8am in the morning. I work less than 4 miles from the Woking branch where I was to drop the car off. I finish work at 8am so I phoned and asked if I could drop the car off on my way home which would be no later than 8.20. I was told no, that wasn't possible as the car would be going straight out at 8. I thought this was strange as surely the cars are cleaned before being rehired? Lo and behold, as I drove past Kendalls Woking at 8.20am, the car was still parked in the spot where I had left it the night before.

Mike. Just Mike. 41 years he has been working here and boy, are they lucky to have him! Best customer service you’ll ever receive. This guy always goes the extra mile; above and beyond. Wish I could persuade him to come and work for me but photography ain’t his thing!! 😂 Hey ho, in the meantime, if you wanna hire a van, go for it... 😀

Cheapest rental option in Woking. Staff are really friendly and the cars are always in great condition. There's a petrol station opposite that stays open until late so that's very useful when returning the vehicles. My only gripe is that the fuel policy is not "full to full", which means you have to try to guess how much to fill up so that you return it with the same amount of fuel if you received it with less than a full tank.

Excellent Service from Mike and his team. I hired a Renault Low Loader in October 2015 to bring some furniture back from Europe and received a great deal. I then had to go out again to bring the rest of my furniture back in November and as snow tyres are required in Europe, Mike was kind enough to source the tyres for me at a very competitive price and arranged to have them fitted in time for my trip. I have since hired a car over the Christmas period (again at a very competitive rate). Excellent service and I would definitely use Kendall Cars Woking again. Many thanks

Brilliantly helpful when we needed a hire car at short notice for our holiday, after our family car gave up the ghost. Use these guys! I rented a van from 8am saturday to 8am sunday, booked it midweek and only cost £75 for the whole day which is a great price in the local area. That was for Large LWB van for a house move. Deposit was £200 and i had the refund back for the deposit with nothing deducted by Monday so thats awesome. The ladies at reception were so helpful and explained everything. Got me enrolled in no time and added an additional driver on the day at no extra cost. 100 miles per day comes in the rental, anything over is only 9p per mile which is cheaper than others. Great service, experience and price.

As car hire goes, this was pretty decent. The price was less than half enterprise wanted to charge me to hire a Luton van. Would use again and recommend. 4 stars as the registration process could be computerised and streamlined.

Straightforward rental service if you're looking to rent a van for a couple of hours or days. Vans are new(ish) and clean. I've been to nearly every Kendalls branch and this was the longest we've had to wait (30 minutes). Hopefully, it's not a permanent fixture. If you drive there, you'll have to be creative to find a parking space ie walk a long way - about 10 minutes.

Being hiring from these guys for almost 10yrs now. Always found them to be incredibly helpful and accommodating, especially with the number or rentals and last minute changes I throw at them. It's why I've stayed loyal for all this time. Would probably go 5 star if there we additional loyalty incentives and if other branches had the same personal approach.

I am absolutely amazed and stunned that Kendal Cars in Woking have been accused of being racists. I am of Asian origin and have rented so many cars from Mike and his team at Kendal Cars Poole Road and NEVER have I ever experienced any racist discrimination .On the contrary the whole team there have always gone beyond expected of them. I have been renting cars from them since 2008 and always have had a great experience. Once they gave me a lift to the airport when I returned a car and then had to catch my flight , another time they allowed me a car for a week when I had a cash flow issue and could not pay when I kept the car beyond the booked stay. I was being paid a week later and I fully settled with Mike and the team. I have only posted this as this team and Kendal cars should in no way be accused of racism! if people have other complaints be fair but not racism. I will always rent from Kendal Cars and will defend this team at any cost against rubbish claims from anyone accusing them of racist. I am Asian (coloured blacks etc) and these guys are the best in Woking. I hope Mike and his team ignore these race card allegations they are and have been the best . I have just been through the internet to book a hire car with Kendalls, the quote was £39.00 . When I decided to ring them to confirm, they told me the price would be £49.00, I queried the price and they said it must have been a mistake. I consider this poor to 'hook' people in with one internet price then change it at booking. Needless to say will not be using them. Since posting this review we have had an apology from the manager explaining there was a computer error. We then went ahead and used them. I am happy to report they were very courteous , efficient and helpful and we would certainly use them again.

Actually Excellent is not enough. I have never before experienced such good service from anyone. Because they wanted to tour Scotland, I invited two overseas friends who were staying with me to rent a car from Kendall Care Hire in Woking. The staff there were most helpful and the arrangements were made without fuss. Unfortunately, when they were returning to Woking, another driver hit the hire car and caused serious damage. My friends, who are Chinese, were very concerned and cut their tour short by one day to be able to return and deal with what they thought would be serious consequences. In the event Kendall staff were more than understanding. The Woking staff made everything so easy and, because my friends were able to prove that the other driver was completely at fault, the Kendall manager immediately consulted with his insurers and while they were waiting authorised a full refund of the deposit. My guests have now returned to China but they were so impressed with the Kendall Car Hire service they have now asked me to speak again with the company to thank the staff for their courtesy. I hope they don't speak too much about their experiences as Kendalls' may well be inundated by Chinese wanting to rent cars in Woking. Well done Kendall Car Hire - you have reached a new high standard.
