It does exactly what it says on the tin. £70 per day for a LWB van, includes unlimited mileage. Return with the same level of fuel that you started with. Van was a bit old and a few miles on it, but it still did the work. Staff were really friendly and had a van available for a short notice house move.

The most important thing is the van we hired did its job perfectly which is more than can be said about many low cost hire companies. I wanted to write a review a few weeks ago and forgot. So making up for it now. We needed a van with tail lift to make a move that little bit easier. Found a Luton with tail lift for just £80 with Abacus in Worthing. So when I saw the van I said to myself ok, it will do what I need, they are a little older than vans I'm used to hiring for work events, but then I'm not paying the earth, its £80 for 24hrs. I couldn't fault it at all. The engine ran like a dream, as if it were new. Credit to the mechanic that I saw working on the day, keeping the fleet running. He gave me good instructions on how to save the battery when using the tail lift and an overview of the van itself. Certainly knew his stuff. Thanks guys for making our move so easy with the use of your Luton.

Basic van at a basic price. I got fed up with renting expensive new vans for £100 plus. One scratch and it costs extra obviously. Abacus vans are already scratched:) but work fine and do the job. I rented a normal size transit for 24hrs for £50. No limited mileage like Eurocars etc. Perfect.
