R.Laura and the girls at York Boutique Lets could not have been any more helpful, the customer service is second to none, we were really stuck for somewhere to stay and they really went the extra mile to help us and we found an absolute gem in The Potting Shed. It was like a home from home, spotlessly clean and set in a lovely garden with great parking. There is everything you could wish for if you are coming to York, we stayed for five weeks during March and April. The property owner, Janet, is lovely, she helped us so much and was very kind to us, always happy to have a chat and again went the extra mile to make our stay the best it could be. As a location for anyone visiting York it is ideal, in a nice country setting yet close enough to the city to make visiting easy, the park and ride is five minutes away or there is the normal regular service bus into town. It is handy to get onto the A64 to visit the coast or the moors. I cannot recommend this property or York Boutique Lets highly enough.
M. P.Absolutely fantastic apartment, couldn’t fault it at all! Extremely spacious with a large living room and kitchen (with an added bonus of a downstairs toilet). Upstairs there are 3 separate bedrooms and a large family bathroom. Comes with its own patio area to enjoy the nice weather. The apartment had everything we needed and more! In a perfect location, a 5 minute walk from the town centre and all the restaurants and bars. Highly recommend this apartment and I will definitely be back!

A. M.We had a really lovely time at Compton Lodge for 3 days. This was a last minute booking as our abroad holiday was cancelled. I have to say what a delight the property was, very clean with every kind of comfort and extras catered for by the owner, all the mod cons as well as standard. We were seriously impressed. Lovely location, quiet and a stones throw from the York City Centre and the Wall and many lovely pubs and restaurants. As well as being an excellent base for trips further out. Private parking was included. We would definitely pick Compton Lodge again, when we revisit York. Loved, the place! Well done Yorks Boutique Lets.
K. B.Stayed at 'The Ebor 3 Bed' in York. Brand new property with everything you could possibly need including a large hot tub!! Really modern, spacious and clean. All the best places to visit in York are literally 5 mins walk away and the train station is 15 minute walk away. Perfect for sight seeing. Noticed the racecourse is local too so we'll be back again for the races!!

We stayed at the Boulevard Apartment for a weekend break in York. It is a great place to stay and a brilliant location to explore the city.
We loved the layout and the accommodation. It's very well equipped, even down to ample sachets of milk left for us in the fridge! Small details like that show that there is thought put into making life as easy as possible for the guests.
Plenty towels, dishes, glasses etc. It really felt very relaxing and we would definitely return if we visit York again.
The city of York itself is an amazing place for a short break. So much to see and do and lots of lovely restaurants, bars, and cafes.
York Boutique Lets were really helpful both before our arrival (provided comprehensive information about the apartment, check-in process, parking etc) and following up with us after our stay.
The check-in process is very straightforward and we loved the fact that it was all so well organised.

The customer service is amazing and always on hand when needed, I had a leaky tap and a handyman was sent just a few hours after I mentioned it, nothing was too much trouble! S. H.Staying at Station Apartment was like walking into a showhome except getting to stay. Beautifully presented, modern and comfortable this place made our York stay extra special. Beds are extremely comfortable which was an added bonus with pristine white linen. Has everything you could need to enjoy a home from home stay. Onsite parking is the bonus with this place and its a ten minute walk to the centre of York. Would recommend this place and return. Excellent value for money. Booking was professionally handled and questions answered quickly and politely.

J. R.We stayed in the converted Stables in Room 2 on Strensall Road. Absolutely loved everything about our room! The owners really went out of their way to make the room feel so special and unique. Definitely boutique! All the details and finishing touches added that extra bit of glamour. The bath was definitely a very interesting touch! The room was soooo warm and cosy, exceptionally clean and it smelt sooo nice when we first walked in. Comes with kitchen utensils, toaster and kettle as well as coffee, sugar, tea and milk. The room isn't far from York city Centre. There is a bus stop right in front of the stables but we decided to drive into the centre and parked in one of the many car parks. After we put up the room on social media, so many of our friends and family are now interested in booking this place. Highly recommended and would come back! Definitely worth the 4 hour drive from London! York Boutique Lets are so easy to contact and deal with. We had to change our dates and they were so flexible and accommodating.
P.S the owners were absolutely amazing at saving us from the spider which crawled into our room! We called York Boutique Lets and told them about the situation. They were so nice to us (and didn't laugh at us 😅) and passed our message onto the owners who came down and got rid of the spider. Being city girls, we're not used to spiders! It was a rather embarrassing situation on our part! But once again, thank you!

L. B.This was fantastic! We stayed in the Strensall accommodation, in a quiet area out of York (geese in the next field) but only 2 mins walk to the bus stop for a regular service into the city, and to the Strensall amenities the other way.
The accommodation was warm, comfortable and private. Lovely bed (Stable Apartment 2) with sofa, good TV, great shower room and even a kitchenette with kettle, toaster and microwave. Highly recommended, hope to stay here again.

L. M.I have recently returned from a 2 night stay with 4 girlfriends at the Malt Shovel Court apartment. The property was very clean and well appointed and in a good central location. The 2 bathrooms and extra toilet were also useful. The staff were very helpful and we were able to organise an early entry and late departure which made our stay so much easier. The apartment was fantastic and as clean and well presented as the photographs show. It's location was superb being a 10 minute stroll to the heart of the city. The return journey was always considerably longer as we could not walk past the Mason's Arms without stopping for a drink. Situated opposite York wall within easy walk of Castle Museum and town centre. Would highly recommend and would be more than happy to stay again. York Boutiques were very friendly and quick to respond with any queries. The arrival information was very informative.
T.Stayed in the converted stable for 1 night. Lovely and cosey, perfect for a relaxing chilled night which is just what we needed. Attentive staff , there when you need them. Short bus ride to the village were there are a couple of pubs, shops and fish shop. Around 30 minutes bus into York centre. Buses run late too if you wanted to make a full day in York. Have already recommended to friends and would stay again.

C. H.We stayed at Flat 8, Blue Bridge Court which was well appointed and spotless. The furnishings were very tasteful, the kitchen had everything we could possibly need and having on street parking so close was a big bonus (especially as I broke my ankle a few days before arrival!!)
The location is fab, one minutes walk from the riverside path into the city. As the bedroom faces the back we were undisturbed despite having a couple of early nights.
The only thing I could say would have been helpful is a fan in the bedroom as it’s a basement flat and even with the window open there is no air getting through in warmer weather.
Would definitely return and would also like to thank the office staff for being so helpful in recommending this property.

E. T.My husband is a college lecturer so we have to pay higher prices in half term holidays despite being childless. We were therefore very happy to find Stables room 2 in York on a Buyagift promotion so booked a Wednesday and Thursday 2 night break in October half term. The property was very clean and benefited from a log burner, although you had to provide your own wood. It was in a quiet area, although on a main bus route into York City Centre or a 15 mins drive. It had an adequate studio kitchenette or was within takeaway delivery distance. There was also a nice welcome basket for a continental breakfast and evening snacks. We would definitely recommend this property!

The location appears to be on the main route out of town for late night revellers at the weekend so be prepared for some noisy people if you like the windows open. That said I would definitely recommend and would visit again.

T. R.Stayed in Priory Street Apartments in February. They were brand new, beautifully done out and sparkly clean. Beds were really comfy ('like sleeping on a cloud' according to my son). Only a short walk into York city centre too. Would definitely recommend.

The house is on quiet street with parking if required. There is a little play area close by for children and 5 minutes from a shop (Only suggestion -Please re-grout the bath side).

The apartment is big enough for our 4 members' family and it's generally equipped with good quality and well maintained furniture.
Unfortunately, the bedsheets and the towels were not all clean... I spotted 2 patches on them. Plus, the bathtub had some molds on the sides and it was partially obstructed...
Moreover, the apartment was supposed to be cleaned in the middle of our stay (as our journey is 10 days) but it was done only one day before we leave. Therefore we had to buy the extra things we needed to finish our journey (toilet paper, soap, shampooing, washing machine detergent and a mold remover). We also had to wash the towels.

Nice little place, mostly clean and well presented
although we did find some stains on the sofa bed mattress which looked like they may have been blood! We covered them with towels provided, then the bed sheets so not too bad but I'm dropping a star because of that.
The building and area was nice and quite - other than some works going on next door.
If we ever head to York again we'll probably use the same place.

They really take pride in this property and the location was terrific. The best part was when Steve, the handyman, stopped by and mentioned that a marathon would prevent taxi service to the train station on the Sunday we were to leave, so he arranged for his brother Paul to take us. Really not far from the centre, bus stops are right outside or it's only a 10/15minute drive. Would highly recommend staying there.

N. S.We booked both studio spartments at converted stables strensall road for 3 nights. We have 3 kids and wanted a base to explore York and a few surrounding attractions on our way home to edinburgh from center parcs. We couldn't ask for any more. The apartments were beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and the location is perfect. Bus stop outside which has regular buses to York centre. The kids also enjoyed the space to play in the garden. The welcome was friendly, relaxed and unobtrusive. Highly recommended.

P. K.Pleasant warm and very convenient. Everything that was promised was in place and the advice on what to bring spot on. It is on the No5 bus route into York and half an hours stroll to the nearest pubs.
Take a torch if you intend any walking after dark!
P. O. C.We had a four night stay at an apartment at Fountains View in York. Apartment itself was very comfy, clean, well decorated and furnished, very comfortable beds and ample bed linen and towels, extremely quiet, and well within walking distance to the city centre. We did find that the kitchen wasn’t particularly well equipped as there was a lack of everyday kitchen utensils - e.g no egg cups or teapot and only four glass tumblers when the apartment was marketed for a party of six.
Unfortunately, we were notified whilst en-route that the washing machine had been damaged by previous guests and although it was suggested we would be able to operate it, neither I nor my husband could open the machine door! So we came home with a large load of laundry, inevitable when travelling with two small children. On the second morning of our stay we found that we couldn’t get any hot water from the ensuite shower although there was plenty of hot water elsewhere. It seemed that the shower mixer had developed a fault. The main bathroom did not have a shower attachment.
It was probably just bad luck that we ended up with no shower or washing machine, but I was slightly
disappointed by company response and attitude.

Ideal facilities, very clean with a great free parking lot. Little Mango: It was very warm in the bedrooms (despite the fans provided). If you open the windows to air it, it can get noisy. But this is also stated in the apartment description. We would book this apartment again at any time and can only recommend it!

Wir waren als Familie für zwei Tage in York und hatten dafür das Fossgate Luxury Duplex City Centre Apartment gebucht. Eine tolle Entscheidung ! Ein wunderschönes, zentral gelegenes und komfortables Apartment. Ideale Ausstattung, sehr sauber mit einem kostenfreien tollen Parkplatz. Kleines Mango: Es war sehr warm in den Schlafzimmern (trotz zur Verfügung gestellten Ventilatoren). Wenn man die Fenster zum Lüften aufmacht, kann es schon mal laut werden. Aber dies wird in der Apartmentbeschreibung auch angegeben. Wir würden dieses Apartment jederzeit wieder buchen und können es nur empfehlen!!
