We would highly recommend Jack for any carpentry work that you need. He is so reliable and the quality and finish of his work is excellent. He created and built beautiful bespoke built in wardrobes as well as an excellent hallway unit. Jack recently completed two jobs for me. The first was to refit 3 upstairs internal doors after somebody else had made a very poor job of it. They now look great and open and close properly, hooray! The second job was to box in the gas supply and consumer unit in my hallway. It looks fantastic and I am delighted with the final result. The work has been completed to a very high standard. I was extremely impressed with Jack's workmanship and attention to detail. You can tell he is meticulous in his approach. Jack was very pleasant to deal with and extremely tidy and respectful of my home as the work was ongoing. I look forward to collaborating with Jack on other jobs in future.

Jack has carried out a range of jobs for us, including traditional carpentry as well as other things and is now our go to person for most things that need doing round the house. His work is of excellent quality, he is tidy and easy to have around, and he is very professional and organised. Although he often has a bit of a lead in time because he's busy, he always turns up as agreed. Jack provides clear quotes broken down by details and clear invoices and all his works is reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend Jack for any carpentry or general property maintenance work.

Highly recommended! We are SO pleased with the alcove unit Jack built for us, including cabinet, log store and shelves. The work was done to a high quality and felt very bespoke, with Jack involving us in all the decisions along the way. We checked out several quotes and lots of photos before committing, but we are very happy with the result. I would definitely go to Jack again, and I will happily recommend him to others.

Having just moved to the area, I looked at Google Reviews to find a carpenter. No wonder all of Jack's reviews are 5 stars. His work is meticulous and what a lovely guy to have around. He was prompt, flexible, gave great advice, went above and beyond to help; even fixing little things in the house he just spotted were wrong and he cleaned up at the end of every day. He built bespoke shelves in an alcove, remodelled a very badly fitted TV unit which is now actually usable; the door doesn't fall off and I can actually get plugs in the electric sockets and he created a fabulous floating shelf in the kitchen. Nothing was too much trouble. I have already booked him for more jobs and I can't imagine going anywhere else, as he has so many strings to his bow! Highly recommended!

Jack is an excellent carpenter and builder. We have used him to build 2 extensions, fit doors, erect fencing and other building/carpentry work. He is very professional as well as being very tidy in his work. Would not hesitate to recommend him.

We had JPD Carpentry in to lay real wood flooring. It was such a stress free and easy process. Jack is the first tradesman I have dealt with that actually listened to what I wanted and made it so easy. Jack was professional and punctual to the minute! I cannot rate Jack highly enough! I have used him for a wide range of jobs in my house from building cupboards/shelving to tiling and I must say he is fantastic, I cannot rate him highly enough!. He is now my first port of call for any carpentry/building jobs around the house, his pricing is very reasonable and he is reliable, punctual and a really nice guy. No job seems to small or large for him and over the years I have used many carpenters and I must say his attention to detail is top notch, the best carpenter I have used to date! Cannot rate Jack enough. What a patient and professional guy! Jack! Or Magic Jack as I like to call him. Absolute legend. Honest, fair, reasonably priced - not much he can’t turn his hand to. Nice guy, down to earth and really communicative and pays attention to detail and provides an awesome service. I’m using him for as many jobs as I can. So nice to find someone reliable and good.

I booked JPD Carpentry to design and build a wardrobe/storage solution in the bedroom, it was mainly to conceal a protruding section that ran from over the stair below. I was unsure what solution was best however JPD put forward some fantastic options and I now have a bespoke fitted storage unit that looks like it's naturally part of the room. I fully recommend this trader for the reliable, hardworking ethos and good value for money, I am 100% happy with the completed job.

Got recommendation from Nextdoor members re fencing and gate job. Excellent job in poor weather conditions. A very easy recommend for us and a very clean and tidy worker and very reliable. Also discovered that Jack / JPD do all sorts of other work, so I suspect we will be using their services again soon. 5 stars!!
