Thanks so much for your efforts and for going over and above my expectations. Our loft space was cleared out cleaned, re-insulated, boarded, and a ladder put in. Rob and the team were amazing both in service and quality of the work. They also sorted out a few electrical issues and bits of torn roofing felt as they went, and even cleared extra rubbish for me. We now have a usable clean storage space. House was also left spotless at the end of each working day. I can highly recommend Just Lofts, you won’t be disappointed.

From start to finish Mark and his team were professional and informative. They insulated our skylight tunnel and removed the mold issue we were having and fitted a light in the loft. They also fixed some other issues they noticed caused from previous workers, even the they were outside the quote. Highly recommended and would go to them again for future work.

I was very happy with the work completed which included installing new insulation, installing a sub-structure to support a new boards in the loft and a replacement to an old Velux window. I felt confident with the advice provided including regarding additional work that I may want to consider which lies outside the scope of the Just Lofts team. Installing in an older house presents challenges due to things just not being square and I was really pleased with the way this was addressed and the finished product looks very good. The team communicated well throughout the process and were very self-contained meaning they were able to just get on with the job. Happy to recommend them (which I have).

We had other quotes for our loft which were cheaper. However Just lofts came over as very professional. They did a survey of my loft and explained what area that can be loft boarded and different type of loft ladders they can install. They even pointed out the down lights that were not fire rated and needed to be replaced. Their electrician did a great job replacing the down lights at a reasonable cost. The result was beyond my expectations. I would recommend Just lofts to anyone looking to have loft boarding done. You won’t go wrong with this company. Always went the extra mile. Carl

Mark came out to give us a quote and was highly knowledgeable, very professional, and really friendly. They were able to fit us in for a new loft hatch installation in about a week and let us know exactly what to expect. Mark and Rob fitted a new hatch with ladder on our landing and removed and repaired the old one in one of our bedrooms. They were very tidy and clean and the job has been done to a very high standard. Would highly recommend them and we're planning on using them again in the future for loft insulation.

Mark responded very quickly to our query about loft boarding, was easy to get hold of and had clear communications at early stages. Came round soon after and gave a really thorough explanation of the issues in our loft and a range of possible solutions. He genuinely listened to what we were after; with previous quotes we had people trying to put a lot of additional things on top, but Mark just outlined the different options available to best make use of the space for fairly simple storage and then gave a range of pricing options, all of which were competitive/fair. When the job started Mark and the team were extremely professional and worked to an exceptional standard throughout. The workmanship was top notch and they fixed up issues they found once on site with no fuss or additional charges. Over a 2 day job you’d barely have known they were there with the neatness of the work and tidying up/hoovering, and the quality of the finish is superb. I had initially just thought it would be a useful bit of storage space to throw some boxes up in, but the quality of the work is such that it honestly feels like we’ve gained another room in the house! Mark and his team are fantastic. They corrected a terrible job someone had previously done incorrectly and even found things that weren't right from when the house was built. They fixed everything! Altogether we had a new hatch installed, then they reinstalled the ladders to make it safe for us to use. Raised the floor and put excellent quality boarding throughout the loft with all the insulation placed correctly so we don't loose any heat. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing work done in their loft. They were also extremely tidy. They put dust sheets down everywhere and hoovered up after themselves. They are the best!

From first survey to final work, Mark, Rob and Steve were absolutely brilliant! Throughout all of their work the one thing that made them stand out was how absolutely genuine they were and how focused they were on doing the best job possible. Mark’s initial survey of the loft we wanted extra insulation in was very thorough, identifying a number of other faults that could have caused long term issues if not rectified. They completed the work in good time and took care to ensure that there was no damage to our house, cleaning up every day so there was minimal disruption to our lives, especially important given our need to work from home. The final work in our loft has created a great space for storage and vastly improved the heat retention of the house, already reducing our heating bill. Cannot recommend them more!

After receiving various quotes, Just lofts was significantly cheaper than other quotes and we found marks attention and clarity in the quote gave us confidence to choose him. We weren’t let down! I’m delighted with the work done in my attic by Just Lofts. After receiving knowledgeable and prompt advice from Mark, I was given a competitive quotation. The job was completed in 2 days (as promised). I had a new enlarged hatch, ladder, light, full boarding, blocking up and sealing work and the removal of the previous owner’s rubbish. Fitting a new loft hatch and ladder So I only met with Mark yesterday who came to quote for fitting a new loft hatch and access ladder – later that afternoon I had a call to say it could be fitted today due to a previous cancellation. Naturally I said yes. Three guys from Marks team arrived and immediately set about laying clean floor coverings protecting carpets etc. They set about their work and within hour all structural work was completed and the old opening sealed. The access hatch was installed and ladder bespoke fitted to the correct height and a decorative architrave secured to the opening surround. A full clean up with not a spot of dust or debris left behind – a job extremely well done by a professional and polite bunch. It was definitely worth the coffee and biscuits sacrificed from my personal stash – joking of course but thank you all for an amazing job extremely well done!! Mark McDixon

Electric Loft Access & Custom Hatch Isn’t it a great feeling when you know you have made a good decision!! We contacted ‘Just Lofts’ to obtain a quotation for the possible supply of an electrically operated loft access ladder in the hallway of our 1940’s bungalow, and to enlarge the original loft access hatch located in a bedroom, to accommodate an electric winch, that would enable us to get heavier/ bulky items safely up and down from the attic. Mark recommended a semi automatic ‘Stira’ electric access ladder and his craftsmen to manufacture a purpose built hatch with an upward opening door for us to use with the winch. A site survey was arranged and Mark shortly afterwards confirmed a quotation for both supply and installation. Communication was excellent, and included no false promises, both units were installed on the same day by Mark and his team, all of them were a pleasure to have about our home (not always the case with tradesmen in your home 😁) The finished job is perfect and the quality of both the electric ladder and winch hatch is excellent. Thanks to the ‘Just loft ‘ team, we can enjoy safe access to our attic space for years to come. We would recommend Mark and his team to anyone considering such work, thanks Mark and team. A Celestial Triumph! We own a converted chapel in the Rhondda. We needed space for storage, We called in Just Lofts to see what might be possible. Decided on just half boarding it at first, they quoted and got the job. Unfortunately, they discovered that 11 joists to the front of the building were rotten! Together with a fractured truss. No problem! Quick thinking and knowledgeable Mark came back with a solution within twenty four hours. The remedial work was done professionally and swiftly. The truss, fixed. We decided to go the ‘whole hog’ and board the complete loft. They also fitted an extendable loft ladder and new hatch. It now looks amazing! 28 square metres of extra room.
