James has done an absolutely outstanding job for us in our home. His work is of exceptional standard. He has transformed our home hanging 19 oak doors and furniture, replaced skirtings and installed a beautiful oak handrail. James is a lovely person to deal with; he listens to what you want, never forgetting anything you’ve asked him to do; always on time and is a very neat and tidy worker. James has just finished our fabulous new oak and glass balustrade stairway. We are thrilled with it and absolutely love it! James has also fitted 12 oak doors and a pair of half glazed oak doors with superb craftmanship, finishing off our entrance hallway. Recently hired James to fit 9 internal doors. I cannot fault his work at all the finish was excellent and was careful to tidy away at the end of each day. He is very experienced in his craft which was evident in his skill to fit the doors into frames which were difficult to line. We almost came undone when we discovered that I had mistakenly ordered 9 doors of the same size, whereas I should've ordered 2 of them to be slightly smaller. It was no effort for James to head down to Wickes and collect the 2 smaller doors that I should've ordered in the first place! I would highly recommend James for carpentry work and will certainly use his services again if required.

We have used James several times over the past 18 months - oak kitchen worktops, oak skirting and finishing of oak flooring and fitting of a new oak door.
