L. M.I definitely recommend Carpentry Brothers! Anders is friendly and very professional. We had a fire door installed and he discussed options and costs well in advance of the job. He has good attention to detail and is always keen to satisfy any customer needs. Anders managed to perfectly match the wooden door colour with our kitchen cabinets, installed the self closing arm and also installed draft seals without us asking!
D. M.The door to our utility room needed reversing so that it swung into the room rather than out. This sounds easy but involved moving the door jam, the architrave and lowering the the frame as the rooms are at slightly different levels. Our door is glass panelled and very heavy. We had a quick response to our online enquiry and received a quote after providing more information and photos. Anders who undertook the work was pleasant, skilled and professional and did an excellent job at a competitive price. We would certainly employee him again and have no hesitation in recommending Carpentry brothers for any carpentry or joinery project. A great experience.
R. N.A section of our kitchen upstand was badly affected by water damage. With a baby expected soon, my husband and I were keen to replace the upstand. Anders kindly fitted us in at short notice, quickly sending me a quote for the work. The value and quality of work was fantastic, with an excellent new upstand fitted. Anders was professional, diligent, friendly and took time to explain the work to be completed. He tidied up thoroughly and checked we were happy at every stage. We are really pleased with the final product. Looks so much better than the unit that was previously there. Great work for a really reasonable price. He also cleaned up after him including the driveway where he cut everything down to size. Would highly recommend.
S. “. B.Bespoke Bin Covers - I approached Anders regarding a requirement for enclosed bin covers for my two wheelie bins. My requirement was for two complete independent units, on casters, with a sliding recessed top which would allow me to use the top for planting etc. This is exactly what I got. Each bin rolls into the bin cover and locks away. The bottom of the bin cover is raised so there is no sight of the bin at the bottom of the unit. The tops have been recessed, put on to sliders and pull out for me to get to the top of the bin, and then can be rolled closed. But the top also works as a planting space, or recessed shelf for lanterns etc. The whole unit, complete with bin inside, can be rolled to wherever you require in the garden and, once planted up with some greenery, will look like garden furniture rather than a bin cover. Great workmanship, brilliant service - very communicative. I've been trying to get these made by different people over the last four years. All promised but never delivered. Anders was brilliant and, he said he enjoyed the challenge of the bin covers.
For clarification, the bin covers are on casters with a brake mechanism so can be placed anywhere in the garden. The front door of each bin cover is lockable and the recessed tops glide out beautifully. Really happy with the result and would definitely recommend Anders and Carpentry Brothers. Excellent.

D. B.Anders renovated our kitchen worktops, they are beautiful oak blocks but had got very dark and stained, the oil we used was easily washed off by spills.
Anders sanded off all the existing stains and prepared the surfaces, this took the majority of the time. He varnished them with the matt glaze he suggested.
The results were magnificent, kitchen totally transformed.
Anders was unfailingly polite, diligent, and tidied up thoroughly. Thanks Anders, a job well done.
