j.R P Cooke have worked on our house renovations for the last 18 months. Russ has beautifully crafted our windows, doors, and staircase, Russ even made beautiful furniture to cover our ugly underfloor heating manifolds. He is a true craftsman, a lovely person and very professional. We would recommend him very highly.
T. 2.Russell made our windows 25 years ago and we are still as thrilled with them now as we were then. Each one had to be hand crafted because the sizes and shapes differed and the finish is excellent - they are lasting better than we are! S. K.We contacted a number of carpenters to remove and replace our staircase and Russell was by far the most personable, knowledgeable and professional of the people who came to quote us. Once we set a time frame he completed the work quickly and with a real attention to detail. We have a toddler and Russell was really considerate structuring his work to fit around our schedule and minimising disruption to our daughter - whose bedroom is upstairs. Russell also extended our landing where we had extra space due to changing the direction of the staircase - a suggestion of his which hadn't even occurred to us and which has dramatically opened up the upstairs hallway. Overall he did an outstanding job, he seems to know everything about carpentry and is a really nice guy. I really can't recommend him enough.
