I have used a push trolley for many years, having most recently owned a Cube, but can honestly say that the Stewart Golf R1-S is by far the best I have owned. The build quality, ease of operation and just general feel of ruggedness is second to none.
The level of service I have received when needing support recently has also been exemplary and the speedy resolution and personal service was just great. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a quality British designed and made trolley that will stand the test of time.

My handset was out of order as I accidentally used a different cable to charge. Stewart Golf responded to my email promptly and they have it fixed within a week after I sent the handset to SG’s office. The customer service is very efficient and friendly. I even got a maintenance report and a replacement cable. So glad I can continue to enjoy my trolley.

My now 1 year old Q Series which had been a far better machine than my old F1 had developed a fault recent with no power at all. After advice on what to look for to save an unwanted return it was deemed to be a trip to the service department. The whole repair affair was dealt with impeccably by Jan & Deb. Machine picked up by the courier and delivered a week later. I even broke the carbon wheel arch trying to get it back in the box and that was even fixed by the service guys! Credit where credit is due to all at Stewart Servicing and not forgetting warehouse staff for sending it back. Many thanks.

I love my Q-follow. I mainly drive it about using the remote but the follow feature is nice to have, especially if it is cold or raining and you don’t want your hand on the trolley handle. It’s expensive but I use it a lot.
Anyway the handle broke after about 6 months of use. It never felt that sturdy. Stewart Golf kindly sent me a free replacement which was easy to fit and now all is good in the world. Previously I managed to snap the top strap but this was operator error. The trick is to extend the strap as you first put it around the golf bag so when you clip it round the holes do not stretch and strain. Obvious when I thought about it, but I’m a bit slow.

I can't recommend this company too highly. Bought a Q Follow to give respite to my arthritic fingers. Even steering an orthodox electric trolley was ruining my enjoyment of the game. Stewart Golf modified my Q Follow to make the battery easier to remove for me, and then repaired some transit damage without quibble, even though I had technically missed the deadline for a warranty return. Last week I played four days in a row without suffering at all. Brilliant product from a brilliant British manufacturer.

I managed to break the handle on my Stewart remote trolley, I turned it up side down on the back of a bunker! Although it was completely my fault the handle was replaced free of charge within a few days. I would highly recommend the trolley as well as the excellent back up.

I have now had my Qseries follow trolley for over 6 months and feel it is now the time to give a full and accurate review of my findings.
The trolley is excellent when not broken. The follow function is generally superb and the size of the trolley is excellent, allowing me to transport it with ease. However, as suggested by not giving 5 stars, and the fact i have alluded to some issues, suggest i am not fully happy with my purchase.
I am not a wealthy person, so the price point of this trolley was a big consideration for me. It took me a long time to finally decide to purchase what i consider to be a very expensive trolley. I was swayed by the introduction of the new smaller Q model as well as the reputation of a British company supplying handbuilt trolleys.
I must say that throughout my ownership i have loved owning the trolley, but i have also been at the point of wishing i had never purchased it.
I'll start with the issues/negatives:
The trolley has now been returned to Stewart golf 3 times already. It came brand new with a wonky handle and a remote control that looked like it had previously been used with scrtaches all over the plastic casing. I was really disapointed that this premium trolley -approx £1650 arrived this way. I never use the remote without the silicon cover, so this covers up the scratches etc; however, the trolley had to go straight back for a replacement handle before i could even use it. It has since had to have 2 further replacement handles as they have both broken at the same point, which i would suggest is a design flaw. To me this is very poor, and is an inconvenience to keep sending back.
I also had to send it back after the rear stabilizer wheel caught the edge of a curb at my club and snapped, causing damage to the under tray of the trolley. Furthermore i have had to replace the top bungee strap after it snapped, though this was easily done once they sent me out a replacement. Quite a lot for a trolley i've only had for 9 months!
The good bits/positives - I love putting the trolley in follow mode and walking the majority of my course with my hands nice and warm in my pockets (winter) or while inputting my scores between holes. It really is an excellent function, but comes at a hefty cost.
The battery is excellent, and comes with an app so you can double check the charge. Haven't used it much, but it's good to have.
The customer service has been generally excellent. Yes it's a pain, and yes i think i've either been very unlucky, or the plastic that the trolley is made from is not up to par (poor golf reference)! However, every time i've called them to complain, they have listened, dealt with the issues, organised the return at their cost, and had the trolley back to me within a week, and in the latest incident within 3 days!.
The trolley folds really well and easily fits in the boot of my hatchback. I would recommend the additional carry case which i think is of excellent quality and looks really nice.
Overall - Would i recommend the Q series trolley. I'm really dissapointed to say No, based on my experiences so far. I love the trolley, and would have been happy to recommend it to anyone and everyone purely based on its functionality on the course. Despite the best efforts of the customer service team, i still feel that a product at this price range shouldn't be having this many build quality issues. Some of this will be down to the newness of the product and manufacturing issues, but i still fundamentaly believe the trolley is not as robust as it should be, in particular the handle which i feel has a design flaw.
My biggest concern is how much it will cost me once the warranty runs out (luckily this is for 2 years) and i have to bear the costs for returns and replacement parts.
Update - 08/09/22 - Clearly, Stewart Golf have taken the feedback onboard and they have changed the design of the handle. I no longer have the concern it will snap as previously mentioned. Therefore I have added a further star to my review and I’m much happier with my purchase.

I've had my Stewart X10 Follow for 3 years and been very happy with it. A couple of times it wouldn't switch on (no blue light), which I now realise was down to me being way to aggressive with a Karcher gun. So put in for the service package.
Good points; great communication, email and phone. Its come back looking like new (no exaggeration), various parts have been replaced free of charge, I was sent a film link of Stewart "road testing".
Bad points; none! At £183 it is great value, thanks all at Stewart.

I have purchased a new Q-Follow trolley. Used once so far, and it was fun to use and no major accidents just yet. Stewart proudly boast of British engineering, but at times I felt like comparing it to British Leyland than Rolls Royce. It took 11 weeks to arrive from order, which is a lifetime in this day and age. On 1st time use there appears to a problem with the the battery Bluetooth and power app, which they are looking into.
I have given the team 4 stars as they have been really helpful on the phone and kept me updated on the order, either via email or video.
UPDATE - I am pleased to say that I have been using the Q-Follow trolley for 6 months in all weathers and terrains. I am very happy with the purchase, with the trolley performing well. I have to report, there was another issue crop up with the trolley, but the customer service team responsive resolving the issue. The after sales support has been brilliant.

I am surprised to see poor reviews for Stewart Golf. I ordered a Q-Follow golf trolley: customer services informed me in advance of the possible delays in despatching it (unsurprising given the worldwide shortage of batteries and supply side problems caused by the pandemic) but it arrived as promised on time. The trolley is near flawless, my only complaint being a loose wheel arch which eventually fell off during a round: this problem was resolved within 10 minutes of my emailing Deb in customer services who despatched a fresh pair immediately. Other than that the trolley is the best on the market - no doubt about that in my mind.

I recently sent my X9 follow in for a service and to deal with some electrical issues. We all know how difficult it is for many companies to work through this Covid era. I have to say they were amazing. From the start they replied to every mail and every call. When it became apparent more drastic action was needed they arranged collection. Of course it took some time but I had no issue with that as it was expected. In fact they beat every deadline they set. All issues were resolved and the trolley arrived back today, shiny, clean and in full working order. Not that I can do anything apart from walk it around the garden but I can't blame Jan and her colleagues at Stewart for this lockdown! It is not the cheapest option on the market but I think they are worth every penny and their service has been off the charts excellent. I have to say a personal thank you to Jan in the service department. Worth her weight in gold. I hope this review helps you make a smart decision and buy a Stewart! It is not just a trolley and this is no ordinary company. Happy golfing soon I hope

I had a technical issue with my new Stewart X9 Follow. Having discussed the issue with support they explain that due to the current Covid 19 outbreak they could not take my trolley back to repair it so they sent a spare cable by courier that arrived early the next morning. Took me 5 minutes to fix the problem. The support was excellent and made me feel that they really cared.

I've been using Stewart Golf products for many years now and have always been really pleased with their design, functionality and build quality. Yes, their products may cost slightly more than other products on the market but you are getting gear which will last for ages and perform really well. Over the years I've had four electric trolleys which I've used in the summer months (X3, F1, X7 and X9 Follow), two push trolleys for winter use (Z1 and R1), three golf bags and numerous accessories. I've never had a problem with any of these products and the X3, X7 and Z1 trolleys are now being used by family/friends, again without problems. Customer service has always been excellent and if I've ever had a query or bought an accessory then Stewart Golf has always dealt with me really quickly and helpfully. Other companies could learn from their customer service. So...innovative company, great products, good customer service....and they're a British company!

I love this electric trolley. I really wanted just the X9 Remote but when the X9 Follow was on Amazon Prime day at a substantial discount, I bought it, and I'm so pleased I did. It is brilliant. Also, had a small issue with the remote, and Stewart fixed it, in a very quick time, all free of charge. Can't ask for more than that. Yes, they are not cheap, but they are so great, if you can afford one, they are worth every penny.

Have used Stewart Golf products for the past 7 years (X7, X9 Follow & Push), only issues in all this time - handset battery failed (replacement arrived in less than a week) - bolt on X9 fell out (62mm M6 available on Amazon) - X7 handle a tad fragile (replacements well priced and arrived promptly). I recently purchased an X9 Follow after seeing its online reviews. So far I am absolutely chuffed to bits with the thing and whilst I found it a bit fiddly to begin with, after a few moments getting to know it resulted in what can only be described as the best trolley since sliced bread! It looks and feels great and It has certainly helped my golf too. After only a few rounds it has become obvious to me that the ability to manoeuvre a trolley remotely has greatly reduced the stress I feel around greens etc. It's a blood godsend to be honest and I wish I had bought one yonks ago! If you can afford one, buy it, you wont regret it!

Excellent customer service - had a fault on my X9 Follow and they diagnosed it by e-mail. I sent the e-mail on the evening out of office hours and got a reply and a suggested solution at 8.15am the following day. My reply e-mail questioning the advice was answered within 10 minutes and they were spot on - I did as they suggested and fixed the issue straight away. Great product and great service to back it up what more could you ask for.

I have just had my X9 follow trolley serviced, I chose the top service which was called premier. The full turn around time was four days and I was kept in the loop at all times. The price of the service was £185 plus a further £160 for parts to be replaced. It isn't cheap but if you you want a reliable trolley this is the asking price.

Contacted Stewart Golf re quick access of front wheel on R1-S Push, matter resolved immediately.
Also got advise sheet 'caring for your R1-S Push' were it advises on maintenance and lubrication using PTFE.
Whilst cleaning noticed cover to spindle missing. being replaced at no charge .

Had power issue with my X9 Follow which i couldn't fix. Spoke to Jan (5 stars) on the phone but still no success so as i live locally drop in to see if it could be fixed, had a lovely cup of coffee and engineer said it was the battery lead, i couldn't have wished for better service and prompt response so would highly recommend Stewart Golf who make the best Golf Trolley's in the world.

The Stewart X9 Follow is the best trolley on the market, I've tried many trolleys over the years and the X9 Follow is head & shoulders above the rest! I used to really struggle playing 18 holes because of my health but now I'm not walking as far as I can send my trolley anywhere on the course! + it looks fantastic - a proper head turner! I got the X9 Follow a week ago and it was my 60th birthday present. I did the push carts until now and i wanted to continue walk but some times that hill seemed to take more energy out of me. It was my most and best money I ever spent for near retirement activities and for future ( hopefully machine continue working). My golfing friends made me to name it so I named Tigger. It followed me well and performed well and I am walking playing golf with out carrying and pushing or pulling cart. It was my dream come true.
The only thing for me is its a little too heavy and awkward to lift and load in the sedan trunk even though I took out the battery. If it has another handle by the big wheels I think it would be easier to lift. I love my new friend Tigger.

(Translated) I ordered an X9 follow. Unfortunately, the cart arrived with a broken motor mount (probably during transport). The after-sales service was very responsive, the next day, Stewart Golf sent a carrier to my place (Friday) and the repair was made upon receipt. Cart forwarded on Tuesday from England, received Thursday morning in France. The exchanges were simple and pleasant. A direct purchase from Stewart in England can be done without worries from France, the after-sales service is a model of efficiency (and sympathy). well done
