Thank you very much to the team at Alzate who installed two bespoke wardrobes and book shelf. They also repaired a rotting Edwardian window frame, hopefully giving it a few more years of life. The work was done extremely professionally and to an exceptionally high standard. The team is very focused on detail and is clearly passionate about carpentry. I am very happy with them and would not hesitate to recommend them to friends and family members.

We are so happy to have found Alzate Carpentry. We needed a new internal door with a transom and two steps. When Carlos visited, he listened to our ideas for the design which he would create and Rodrigo's subsequent work to support the project was meticulous, involving remedial work to the walls, dovetailing matching skirting boards/dado rail and decorating. Time-keeping and cleanliness was very good and the finished installation is exactly as we wished it to be. The door is beautifully made and looks fantastic. Communication and co-ordination of the project was made easy for us by Carmen and we can honestly say that the whole experience was a very positive one. We have no hesitation in recommending Alzate to others and will be using them again very soon for another small project.

After careful consideration and 4 quotes I opted for Alzate Carpentry. I wanted contemporary new stairs with glass balustrades in oak. The workmanship is outstanding. The work took approx 2 weeks to complete and I have had several compliments about the stairs. They have opened up the hallway and is an inviting entrance. While they were here they completed our composite decking and both look fabulous. I highly recommend Alzate Carpentry. See before and after photos below. A*********

Raoul & Carlos and their extended team run a very tight ship. They are punctual, tidy, polite, skilled and professional. When you see them in action you can see their passion for their work and how they care deeply to deliver the best they can. They did a couple of projects around the house, the key one was a bespoke cabinet underneath my staircase, it was complicated, as this is a Georgian staircase, so not straight(forward)! the final result looks amazing. Aside from this they are really nice people as well. I highly highly recommend them.

We were recommended Alzate by a family member who had had some similar work done on their property. We commissioned Raul and his team to design, build and install alcove shelving in our living room as well as bi-fold doors to our kitchen. The whole project was seamless and we couldn't be happier with the results! Not only was Alzate's communication before the project started exemplary, they arrived on-time, everyone was extremely courteous and friendly, they consulted us on the design throughout, and they even ensured all rubbish and waste was bagged up once everything had been built. Raul and Carlos of Alzate did some great carpentry for my kitchen extension. When it was time to do a bigger job (garden landscaping - from plans drawn up by my garden designer), I definitely wanted them to do it. Actually, their company was able to do the whole thing: two limestone patios on sloping ground, larch decking, fencing, brick wall. They did a fantastic job, and it looks so beautiful. All their staff were friendly and professional – even my wife was happy, and she usually gets very stressed about building work.

The whole team at Alzate were extremely helpful. We had a bannister that needed fitting - a very weird job which many MANY normal carpenters wouldn't do. Carlos came and was really confident they could do it. He and his team are excellent joiners and we could not be happier with the results. They did an amazing job, went out of their way to make sure we got what we wanted, and then cleaned up afterwards. We would hire them again in a second. Efficient and extremely courteous - they made the whole process seem easy.

Alzate was an absolute pleasure to work with, from the initial site visit by Duvan, where his blue-sky thinking encouraged us to make big changes that we’re now extremely pleased with, through the excellent carpentry and rewiring work by Carlos and Raul, to the finishing touches applied by Rodrigo and Seb. We started off by wanting two storage pieces for our flat, one large book case and a large cupboard on a hard-to-access ledge above a stairwell. On his initial visit, Duvan encouraged us to consider adding a bridge / walkway and banisters for safer access to the ledge, and we’re so glad he did - what a difference it has made! We now have more floor space and light in the room! And the work on the book case is exceptional, it has transformed the room. What was initially an idea for increasing our storage space has become the centre piece of our open-plan living room - we decided to rearrange all the furniture around it and now we have the TV on one of its shelves with the sofa facing it. It has taken a fairly standard open plan room and made it feel truly luxurious! Finally, I also recommend the team for their communication skills. Carmen was always quick to return calls and excellent at transmitting any important job-related info. All in all, a great team who do fantastic work! Very highly recommended!

I highly recommend Alzate Carpentry if you want quality work done in a professional manner. I previously had used another service which I regret deeply as they ruined my fencing in my garden which I had to end up tearing it down completely. I was recommended Alzate Carpentry and I spoke to a lovely person named Raul who listened to my dilemma, Raul was very professional and explained step by step on what needs to be done and went in to detail what type of fencing I required and I could really feel how passionate and proud he is about his craft so I asked them to take the job on. He then visited us with his team and I explained to them my vision which they then proceeded to execute to perfection! I can honestly say using them was the best decision I have made period, they really went above and beyond for my request and listened to every detail to make it “tailor made”. I am so grateful for the amazing work Raul and his team did and I will be using there service again and I encourage everyone else to do so as they are top class. My best experience so far in getting trades people in my home for renovations! I had a bespoke veranda constructed, and it's better quality than I imagined. Alzate were always on time, professional and so easy to liaise with. I'm very happy with the end product!

I worked with Raul a few week ago. The job consisted in changing the whole floor in my flat (circa 80 sqm) from old carpet to wooden floor. I work in construction and can do quite a bit of carpentry myself, so I ussually can spot pretty quick when a tradesman/firm a top quality or blaggers. I must say I was very impressed with Alzate Carpentry, apart from been clean, polite and on time, which should come as standard but not aleays does. With Alzate you get this, but most importantly the quality of work is second to none, specially Mr Carlos Alzate, probably the best carpenter and cabinet maker I have ever seen at work, proper master carpenter, he built a fitted wadrobe for me that I couldn't believe he did it in situ. He also built the roof on my extension, did the flooring, doors and fitted the kitchen. Fantasyic job on all of them, no hassel and they were very easy to deal with, very respectfull as well. I can't recomend Alzate Carpentry enough, I have already forwarded them to my in-laws for their upcoming works....
