M. H.We hired Humphries for a bespoke kitchen cabinet (shelving and storage of various appliances and ironing board, etc.) and living room alcove shelving and TV unit. They are experts at what they do, professional and clear in their measurement and design. The craftsmen they worked with (carpenter and painter) are reliable genuinely good, and the result we obtained was perfect the first time round (the picture on mobile do not do it sufficiently justice). All in all we are satisfied and impressed with what we obtained, and wish our experience of renovating our home was in line with what we got with them!

High-quality engineered wood (no MDF), hand-assembled on site, hand-painted post-assembly on site. High degree of personalisation to work with our existing recessed power outlets, and to accommodate our TV so that one cabinet doubles as s part-media unit. Reasonably priced (in line with other market providers but higher quality of product and service). Finally, it looks good to boot! Highly recommended.

The carpenters and painters were all nice and polite and worked cleanly. They took pride in their work and produced excellent results. The job was completed on time except for a small hiccup caused by the thickness of the paint, which was corrected within a couple of days. We are happy with the results and will definitely use them again. We recommend them highly.

A. M.I needed some carpentry done and just as I was thinking about it a flyer from Humphries came through my door. I might normally just chuck something unsolicited like this but something told me to check them out online, where reviews were universally positive. In the end they created a new office space for me downstairs and a mirrored wardrobe upstairs and I am extremely happy with the work in general and in particular with master carpenter Laszlo who was superb and immediately understood exactly what I wanted. Not everything went exactly to plan but here again Humphries gets top marks. As soon as they were aware of an issue they did their best to solve the problem and I was never ever made to feel bad about it. B. S.From initial call to completion Humphres are a professional and hard working company. We had floating shelves and cupboards fitted in alcoves with lighting in the shelves (done by a different company). They communicated with the electrician to get all the measurements accurate. There was one small inaccuracy (down to human error), but Humphres fixed it immediately with no complaints. The drawings they make give you a real sense of the product. My requirements changed after I saw the first drawings and Humphries accommodated all changes.
The workmen who built the shelves wore masks on arrival and then closed the door of the room, so no social distancing rules were being broken. They put protective flooring down and covered all furniture as well. They kept themselves to themselves and worked a solid 8 hour day. Once finished, they left the place tidy.
After the shelves were built there were some scuffs on the walls, (which they did warm me about). But I also got Humphries to paint the shelves as well. The painter did an excellent job at smoothing down any scuffs and painting the shelves and walls, you couldn't tell where any scuffs were.
I'd recommend Humphries and would use them again.

Zephyr was an absolute pleasure to deal with - knowledgeable, patient, creative, and absolutely determined to do the job well, from start to finish (indeed he wouldn't sign it off until completely happy himself and customer happy). The lead carpenter, Mark, was fantastic - highly skilled, polite, and good to have in the house. And being able to look at 3D images of what your room will look like before you start is invaluable. I recommend this company very highly.

I came across an entertainment unit at a friends house too that looked as if the company had gone the extra mile to go over the design in detail with cupboard and open shelves at various heights and depths. It looked very trendy.
d.We wanted a number of Radiator cabinets and these guys came up trumps. The design is both simple and super yet they are also very practical with the grills being simple to remove for any maintenance. Being made of MDF they were also easy to pain to match each room so don't stick out like a sore thumb but blend nicely as a feature.

There are a lot of cabinet/joinery companies out there it's overwhelming, HC were transparent on cost, competitive and are definitely worth speaking to if you're looking to carry out this type of work.
