You can stop searching and hire Deer Park Carpentry, and here's why you should. I hired Michael to build us a new wood wall with an aperture for a window, install a front door and build us a bannister where there was none before. I've never had such a friendly, trustworthy, skilled and courteous tradesman in my house. From start to finish, he communicated everything we needed to know, he asked us questions when there were decisions to make, he showed up when he said he would and he religiously tidied up after himself. He even called in extra help when he needed it. He was kind to me and my wife, he said hello to my daughter and went out of his way to make sure there was as little disruption as possible when we were all at home. As for the work itself - I'm so, so impressed. He did exactly what we asked him to, but it's the care and attention that's gone into the finish that makes me smile. Small things like the choice of trim, the beautifully smooth sanding, the way he's lined up new materials with the old stuff that already existed - Michael loves his work and it really, really shows. And I can't stop running my hands over everything. It really is beautifully crafted. I have so, so much respect for Michael. It's really difficult to find a trustworthy tradesman, but I'll be keeping Deer Park Carpentry's number in my phone forever. Thank you so much.
