Simply can't recommend Bounce enough. Just got my trusty steed back from Frank and the team following a full drivetrain swap out and new set of forks. The bikes put together better now than when i first bought it, running super smooth. Far from feeling like 'another service' they give the job the proper attention it deserves. The fact i drive 1.5 hours, each way for the service should tell you something. Bike service is a solid 5/5.

I've had the pleasure of two shock services at Bounce in Preston now, and wholeheartedly endorse the dudes there and their workmanship. Took a chance on getting in touch the first time from a local google search and the feedback and testimonials swung it for me. I wasn't disappointed on the phone, via email or finally in person either, hugely professional outfit and very likeable customer approach They truly know their business and both my front and rear suspension units genuinely came back better than new. One massively important aspect is the communication and feedback about the state of the repair or service required at all stages, honest assessments are given and you feel there's no playing on the customers ignorance to make a few extra £££. I cannot recommend their services highly enough. By way of illustrating their attention to detail, on the rear shock I had measured the spring compression to note down the pre-load feel I like prior to servicing... when i checked it before mounting back on the bike the pre-load was exactly TO THE MM where I had left it. Thought that was a great example of the accuracy they work to. So glad to have them on the door step but I wouldn't hesitate to cross the NW to get any bike trouble looked at. You'll be in safe hands.

This is simply the best fork and dropper repair shop on planet, they know there stuff they explained inner workings and tell you how it is and the what why and how things work and what's gone wrong. My bike has been reborn its flying like new after my negligence regular service and maintenance is key to happy forks and dropper get booked in you will not regret I even called them out on trail and helped me tweak my suspension settings. Dropped in to see about getting my brakes serviced. The staff member was extremely helpful, went out of his way to give me good advice and did himself out of some immediate business by being so honest about the other problems with my bike! Okay, review time, I have used these bike/suspension Jedi's a few times now so I feel I can offer a full and justified review - I'm literally blown away with their work ethic and 'can do' attitude, their workmanship is better then anyone I've used before and each time I've got my bike back she has felt better than the day I bought her. Keep up the good work Matt and try and keep Frank away from the lube.

Dropped my wheel off with them on the off chance they could temporary repair my loose cassette. Phone call the day after stating they found a fault but managed to get it back to near perfect so I could use it this weekend on a trip I had booked. Excellent service, quick turnaround I will definitely be using these guys from now on.

Excellent Service and Work! After using lots of companies for fork and dropper servicing I am very glad to have found Bounce. The entire experience from beginning to end was excellent, the work conducted to a very high standard, followed by a report on the work completed and a speedy return all at a reasonable cost. Frank and the team at Bounce Cycles did a great job on my Rock Shox Reverb. The seat post was not dropping at all, I thought I needed a full rebuild but Frank said the cheaper service would be sufficient. When I received it back I had a mishap when reinstalling the post, again Frank was able to advise and help. Now the seat post is working again and I'm happily enjoying my mountain bike back out on the trails. Thank you!

Extremely friendly and knowledgeable, I called to ask how much it would cost to have my Manitou R7 Super forks pumped up, and he offered that it would be done for free. Even took the time to match the pressure to my rider weight. Definitely recommend this fully equipped and skilled professional bike repair shop. Solid 5/5!

Full Service of my 2014 Fox 32s and Fox CTD shock brought my bike to new again. There are a number of places that can service Fox suspension and I inquired with a few by email. So what's the difference with Bounce? Rather than telling me to just fill in a web form and try and up-sell me tuning services you get to speak to a real person. In my case "Frank" who seemed to understand my rubbish description of what was wrong and advised me to fully service my suspension before thinking about tuning (he was right). There is a place for quick online administration but not at the expense of real people talking knowledgeably to customers. The future for local bike shops isn't selling product as cheaply as possible to try and compete with the huge online guys. It's putting the service guys front of house talking to customers and delivering a first rate maintenance/tuning/custom build offering. Oh, I nearly forgot the basic stuff. I was up near Preston so I dropped in and they took my suspension off my bike, repaired iand sent it back to my house within a week using a quality track able DPD courier service. All for a cheaper price than elsewhere - bonus.

Bounce serviced my Mazocchi Z1 forks and what an excellent job they did, they are like brand new, they also carried out a standard service on my specialised hard rock, its like a complete new bike. The standard of work, their knowledge and customer service is second to none. If you need your MTB or Road bike serviced I can highly recommend Frank and Matt at Bounce.

recently took my bike in to have it set up properly after buying from an unnamed popular bike shop in Wigan. Because it was not set up properly they very nearly killed me on my first bike ride. However, taking the bike into Frank at Bounce i was extremely happy with the level of service, attention to detail and courteous nature of Frank and his staff. I now have my Orbea bike back to me in working condition i should have had in the first place. All credit to them, gave me lots of info on how to look after the bike etc. Will deffo go back as when you spend a lot on a bike it's worth the extra to have it professionally serviced and looked after. I have been a customer of Bounce for a few years now and the fact that I drive from North wales to use their services speaks volumes. This time I gave them a Sonder signal Ti frame and asked them to build the bike they would want with it. Frank and Matt discussed at length what I wanted the bike to do, the components they approved of and those that they didn’t together with detailed explanations for each. I have a strong level of trust with these guys, in fact this job was effectively an open cheque book, because I know that they would balance quality and cost in the components that they chose. True to form they didn’t simply build the bike with the most expensive parts that they could but what I do have is a very capable bike with quality kit at a competitive price. Highlights included halo supadrive wheels, rockshox pike forks, crush core tyre inserts, an xt drivetrain with 4 pot xt brakes. The bike is a beauty and handles like a dream. I might have saved a few quid (but not that much) in the short term if I had shopped online, but I wouldn’t have ended up with the same bike, I may have bought incompatible parts and I know if I have any warranty issues the guys at Bounce will look after me. Thanks again guys, until the next one.

Well were do we start.I took my mtb that had been stood for 8 years which I purchased from my mate.I took the bike over to these guys.previous speaking to Matt and frank via a phone call.we sat down together to discuss my requirements of what my vision was going forward and what could be achieved.i chose the premiere service strip down. The advice and dedication of the end result and the honesty and knowledge was second to none. I'd left my rear shock for far too long before arranging a service and it was in a state to say the least. Couldn't find anyone local who could sort it and my LBS wanted £145 plus parts - which meant over £200 and that involved sending it away for a couple of weeks. Found Bounce online, posted Monday, they received it Tuesday and I had it back in my hand for Thursday looking like a new shock! £128 all in including a new shaft and postage. Nice guys to talk to on the phone, even though I was umming and arghing about buying a new one when they told me about the damage to the shock, never pushed me and I didn't feel pressured. Thanks a bunch guys!
