Was not happy that a 1 month delivery wait time became a 3 month wait but delighted with the bicycle an Endurance ALe. It looks lovely great attention to detail fast comfortable good range no issues. Shortly after ordering the bicycle was given a £200 refund due to price dropping.
The assistance is fine on 15% hills giving about 30 miles on 100% assist on a round trip the extender battery giving something like 87%more range. Unable to notice when assistance starts or stops at 15mph as so smooth. Other than hills being easy and a noticeble helping hand when you start moving it feels like an ordinary road bike.

Picking and customizing my new bicycle was very easy on the Ribble website. I bought a very high end bike with a few modification. I went with Black on Black but it was easy to see all the color combinations. The chat feature also helped and the team was very responsive.

The ordering and buying process was really easy as is the bike builder (thanks again Nottingham store). I chose a small frame (I’m 5’7”) and the fit is great 105’s with Ksyrium wheels for the weight and being tubeless ready which I’ve now converted and a carbon seat post. I recently purchased a CGR Ti from Ribble. Delivery time from UK to US was excellent, as the dispatch-to-door time was only a few days. I had waited a couple months for the bike, but my Expected Delivery date was November, so it coming 3months early was fantastic! I had a bit of trouble assembling because i made a simple mistake, but the customer service was super helpful over WhatsApp and email. A week and a half later, I found time to go ride outdoors and I was blown away by how well the bike fit, how it rode, and of course, how it looked. Couldn't be happier with my experience, and I'll be recommending Ribble to anyone who asks about my various bikes.

I found the service at Ribble very good. I bought the Aluminium with 105 road bike, suited my needs and budget. Got the bike in July which was on target with the expected delivery at purchase.
I used the online expert at one point and I found them helpful although upon reflection I had no need to contact them if I had stopped to think.
The bike arrived on the other side of the world well packed, easy to put together and I was impressed with the small set of tools supplied for the assembly and ongoing maintenance.

I recently purchased a Ribble R872 and I was extremely happy with the entire experience. I was going to CA for a couple of weeks to see my parents with my child. I wanted a bicycle to ride while I visited (and also for the future). Given all the supply chain issues I thought this was going to be a futile exercise. Amazingly Ribble though an ad emailed me about bicycles that were ready to be sent. The R872 fit what I was looking for. I called the agent and he gave me an honest assessment that it may take 3 weeks to get the bike to CA but it made it within 2 weeks - a week before I needed it. The assembly process was very easy. And the bike itself performed so well - for the money its an amazing machine. Made my trip to CA so much fun!! Ribble - thank you thank you thank you!!

Went to a Ribble shop and got measured for a bike. Think it was Ewan. He was excellent. Ordered my scheme voucher from work which took 8 weeks. In the meantime the cost of the bike went up by 200! So my voucher was too small and I couldn t add money. Once I got through to a human they quickly said We ll honour your original quote. Bike arrived and is brilliant. Love Ribble.”

Spent a good hour in the Clitheroe store being sized for a bike and specifying the build. I had my ideas and we discussed these in detail with Miles the Ribble representative. There was no rushing any questions or clarification I needed was resolved. No buying pressure or commitment was pushed or required After a chew over for a few days I pressed the button and ordered my first Ribble to continue my foray into cycling. A great experience and I d recommend anybody considering a Ribble to get in store and get a proper fit. We even managed to get a test ride which demonstrated to me what a proper bike rides like compared to my equally priced commuter hybrid I currently slog the lanes on. Highly recommended.”

I also have been wanting a Ribble since the first advert I saw ages ago never thought I be getting one the CTWS. “In April I visited the Nottingham store where I dealt with Euan. He was friendly professional and knowledgeable. With his help and guidance I decided which bike I needed to order. I went home and via the website built the Endurance SL disc that I wanted. I was aware of the delay with delivery of the bike and was prepared to wait until the July delivery date. In early June I received an email informing me my bike was built and ready for dispatch. The bike is excellent great build quality and arrived very well packaged. It was an easy job to build it and am very pleased with my choice and the assistance I received at the Nottingham store and a little later with a minor cycle to work voucher issue which was rapidly resolved by the customer services team.”

I had heard
there were real problems with the company being able to supply bikes within a reasonable time frame. However that has certainly not been my experience. I ordered on the 3rd July and was given a date of early September. Knowing how hard it is to source parts at the moment I thought that was not unreasonable. However my bike turned up on the 5th of August. Half an hour later I had set it up and the following day went out for a 40 mile ride. I'm really delighted with the bike.”

I took more than a year researching options to purchase a new bike. The overall shopping experience for me was 5 stars - I have probably spoken with most if not all the in-house Ribble associates answering questions ranging from frame materials to seat flex and all things in between. Everyone has been very patient with my many questions - sometimes answering the same question twice in the same call. While order delivery times are very much delayed this is not Ribble's fault given what post-COVID supply chain issues are. To be fair I didn't expect to have a bike ready for delivery right away. All good things come to those who wait. Highly recommend the bike builder and in-house expert video-call service. It's all top notch

This is the 3rd bike I have ordered from Ribble and can’t help feel the quality has slipped. The other 2 bikes were perfect straight out of the box but this one had cross threaded bolts in the seat post, incorrectly indexed gears and some other minor issues. Based on my latest experience I will think twice about ordering from Ribble again.

Delighted with my new Ribble Endurance SLe - 2 months in and 2000 miles on the clock. This is my first full carbon road bike and I am using it for commuting 130km round trip to / from Central London 3 days a week.
I chose the "e" model because it gives you "speed-assist" electrically when you pull away from the lights and then seamlessly melts away so you can enjoy a normal ride. The system is a delight - I was worried I'd ruin the bike riding experience by having the electric-assist - however it actually makes me appreciate the pedaling even more!!
I just can't praise it enough - designed by geniuses who clearly ride bikes themselves and assembled by dedicated skilled geniuses and sold by geniuses who are also friendly and approachable.
The sales process and after-sales; I should have started with this - amazingly good experience! The staff on the phones are friendly super-knowledgeable and honest; for example part of my route goes through a Ford but rather than saying "it will be fine" they said that I should choose another route or another bike - not what I wanted to hear but they gave the correct answer rather than just saying something to get a sale !!! (I chose a different route and am glad I did so).
After I bought the bike I was utterly and completely delighted - it exceeded my expectations by so much; I was really surprised because I was already worried that my expectations were too high to start with!! It took my breath away - and during the first ride when it was fresh out of the box I just could not stop smiling - literally could not stop it was so amazing.
After 1000 miles or so a rattle developed so I called the super-helpful staff to ask for advice - and to my surprise even way after the sale was done and this is now a "used" bike they were just as friendly and helpful as they were before the sale - these guys are just genuinely nice people and they gave me some good advice. As it happens it was just a creak, and re-greasing the steering head silenced it.
The running gear on my bike is 105 and Hydraulic brakes. My previous bike, (which is now my spare), had the "old" 105 - and the difference is really quite striking - immediate gear-shifts and silky-smooth performance. With hindsight I should probably have held my breath over the cost and bought the Di2 shifters because my friend has these and raves about it - however I do not experience noticeable lag in shifting, and it is great.
Battery life? I've completed 30 charge cycles, already, and actually the forecast range I am getting is actually very slightly higher than it was out of the box, (around 110km), so no deterioration. The forecast range on the App appears pretty accurate - although hillier routes do soak up more juice from the battery.
Lastly - I should talk about the overall "feel" of the bike. It is quite "stealthy" for an electric bike - it just looks like an ordinary bike. The downtube holds the battery - which makes it about 5mm to 1cm wider than a typical downtube - Don't know why, but even with the power off, it feels like it is pushing you along because SO MUCH of your pedaling converts in to forward motion - so maybe the extra stiffness gives it that? Whatever the reason, it feels GREAT. I really love my old bike and almost feel disloyal when I ride this one, however the full carbon frame is amazing - I really agonised over whether to go for the ALe or SLe - and am glad I bit the bullet. I have not ridden the ALe, (and hear that too is amazing), however the SLe is perfect for me and I am really happy with it. You can ride it just like a normal bike and if you are a purist you could pretty easily remove the battery (about 3-4kg) and buy a second back-wheel without the motor in the hub and you'd have a rock hard fabulous Endurance SL bike. I have not investigated removing the battery, but doubt it is too hard to do. For me - when I want to ride without the electric assist I just switch it off!!!

“This is my second ribble bike and this also does not disappoint. After picking up my endurance sl disc I spotted the al gravel in store and I just had to have one . Took me a while to convince the boss lady as I already had 4 bikes . But after selling 2 I made the order . 4 weeks late got the phone call to say it was ready . I couldn't be happier .I ride it everyday to work and back 15 miles come rain or shine what a bike this is . Ordered with sram as best lead time and this again does not disappoint. Very crisp and precise shifting very impressed always had shimano group sets but have to say I love the sram set up . All in all brilliant bike and brilliant service”

Update July 2022.
I've had the bike a few more months and been on a multi day tour with it. Overall I'm much happier, it rides well and is well built. I had to have the gears fixed at a local shop as the front derailleur had not been set up well. Also had to flip the stem upside down which made a big difference to comfort. My one gripe is that the back of my shoes sometimes rub against the frame which I guess is a factor of the wider frame. I'd still think twice before ordering from Ribble as the experience with them wasn't great but at least the bike is decent in the end.
Update April 2022.
Bike arrived in November, 6 months after promised and 9 months after ordering meaning I missed a whole year of cycling on it. Have taken it out a few times this spring, some elements are good (brakes, frame) but the gears are badly set up, chain is rubbing a lot and can't get bottom gear. Adjustment screws are already at the limits so presume it may have been installed wrong. Will give Ribble a call but frankly don't expect much help from them. The 1 star review feels quite justified right now.

Updates from them are getting less and less frequent. Genuinely worried I'm not going to get a bike at all at this point.

My bike has arrived, before my latest build date and it looks very nice, not had chance to try it yet but I'm sure it will be perfect. Just had to put on the handle bars and seat, only gently nipped them up, not set up properly yet. Changed my star rating from 1 to 3 as I'm pleased with the product but not the service.

Most businesses customer service levels dropped during the pandemic but I have found that Ribble have done the opposite. I cannot recommend them any higher, I ordered a bike and was kept updated every step of the way by their staff. I've had a ribble endurance sle ultegra now for 10 months, well 6 months physically with me. It's been back with ribble now for the 3rd time... 4th if you include the defective back wheel. The speed sensor error 33 has been a consistent fault throughout. First it had a "firmware" update... which I found strange as it was brand new... next it had... well I never got told what it had as they wont tell me. Then the rear motor went. Then it packed up 3rd December with the same fault speed sensor error 33. It's been with them since 10th Dec and took till 21st Dec for them to tell me it had arrived even though I'd sent many messages. I then received one message saying they will be speaking with ebike motion to resolve the issue but didnt tell me what they had been doing with it for 10 days. On the same day I had another email saying parts had been picked to fix it and it will be with a technician shortly to be sent back to me. Then today 29th Dec i receive a message saying eike motion have to log into my bike to find all the error codes. Needless to say itll be with ribble over a month before I get it back. In almost a year... I'll have had it maybe 7 to 8 months... 6 of those when it worked fine wrll on and off. Customer service prior to getting the bike was ok and it was delivered quickly however this was March 2020. The bike is lovely to ride and lovely to look at. It's just the lack of confidence now to go out on any decent rides. I set out on a 40miler... 20 miles from home it packed up. For someone who has bad knees through years of cycling and needs an ebike to keep doing what I love... just dare not go far now. Just feel really let down by the company and just to make things worse... never once have they apologised for the faulty product. It's been returned with a crack to the iwoc button, ripped bar tape and crack to the plastic panel under the BB. These were replaced the 2nd time it went in but I did my own bar tape. The customer service afterwards is terrible though. Think I'm up to 56 emails now... I've had 1 phone call!! They apologise eventually for long wait times for getting back to me but never say sorry you've spent a hell of a lot of money on a bike that doesn't work properly. Ive asked to be put through to a manager or supervisor but wont happen. In a time when we really need to be supporting local business, this just goes against it. Wish they would just be honest really and tell me exactly what the problem is. I have a feeling after reading alot of recent reviews it's down to poor supply chain management. I can appreciate this to a degree but other bike companies arnt struggling, other retailers arnt struggling. Just really really disappointed.
Update 6th April 2021. I got the bike back on 7th Jan but they didnt send the charger. Got that 9th Jan. Anyway (touch wood) the bike has been brilliant. Never faulted since. Been using it as much as the terrible weather has allowed. When it works it's an absolutely amazing bike. Comfortable, responsive (for a heavy 11.6kgbike, my old Rose weighed 6.3kg). Assistance on the hills is a blessing nowadays for my knees and because I've had an extended run on it the fitness levels are back and I'm happy to say I'm running around with it on economy mode. I did 38 miles on economy with it on high for a few tricky climbs and still had 68% of the battery left. Brilliant. Hopefully... hopefully the gremlins have gone!

I've had a really good experience. Order my bike and picked it up a few days before the original estimated build date. Really good communication and now that I have the bike, I can't fault it. I've read a few negative reviews over the last few months. I can only assume they have had a few issues due to covid but I have no complaints.

Very helpful staff. Let me test ride different frame sizes in the car park, made adjustments until I'd found the correct setup. Went ahead and purchased an endurance SL disc. One minor issue at the beginning but customer service bent over backwards to rectify. Absolutely love the bike and have other bike brand owners comment on how nice it is and offer to buy it off me. I would recommend. People need to understand that Ribble bikes are completely customizable and this does delay build times.

During lock down, I waited as each day dragged on with no bike or bike build date to follow my order confirmation. So, I sent a polite email, and just one more while waiting nearly week for the reply which expressed sincere apologies and an explanation with the promise of a good will gesture that added considerable extra value to my bike build. Very soon following that, a SMS message to arrange delivery. The bike is very much as expected, as a matter of course, all I had to do was just check tighten the usual. All's well that ends well; I'm very happy with the service I received, considering the pressure they must have been under during this very stressful time and with unprecedented levels of online orders!
So far, over the moon with my bike.

Ordered a new bike form Ribble - It arrived 2 months late which was not a great start then they let me take it home with some parts missing. They did however sort the issues out after I returned it to them.
Maybe their QC is a little off, but they sort the issues out.
Great bikes for the cost & they are always willing to give advice.

Ordered a Ribble Endurance SL Disc and its headset kept coming loose and I couldn't get the right tension on the bearings. It was either loose and knocking or to tight and impeded motion.
After trying many things I took it back to Ribble to be fixed.
They said the bung was not installed correctly. This did not fix the issue so I had to go back to Ribble. This time they said the steerer wasn't cut straight. But the headset still had play. The employee I was speaking with acknowledged and said he would get it sorted.
I was then told the noise/movement was from the front axel being dry. I was very surprised how over tightening the headset resolved the symptoms but collected my bike.
Very quickly the knocking noise and feeling returned.
I really wanted a refund at this point but the Customer Service team convinced my to take it back one last time. They said they would try a new fork and if that didn't fix it they would also replace the frame.
When I took the bike back I once again showed the man running the shop and he agreed something wasn't right.
Customer Service called to let me know they have replaced the headset bearing and the top cap/bung and its all working now.
I once again made the trip to collect my bike and steering was even stiffer than before! I just took the bike anyway as hoped the grease in the new bearings would soften and maybe it would finally be fixed but this has not happened yet.
I have probably ridden 100km it has not improved.
When the headset play is removed, the steering becomes so stiff it really effects the handling of the bike.
Rebecca was great, she seamed genuinely interested in getting this resolved. Unfortunately the mechanics could not resolve this issue and kept saying it was fixed when it was not. This is deeply disappointing.
If it was not for Rebecca's great customer service I would have given one star but she was fantastic. It is a shame the mechanics are not.

Had my Ribble road bike 5 years and noticed structure damage on the seat stay, a hairline crack on each side. Got in touch with Ribble. They collected my bike. Replaced the frame and sent it back within 2 weeks. Great service.

I bought the 2016 GranFondo 105 online a few weeks ago and the customer service has been exceptional. Ribble are an English online outfit and cut out the intermediary and whilst you might not get the comforts of being able to nip into the shop down the road they more than make up for it through their product competitive pricing overall service and package. Please contact me regarding my ebike SLe and error code 33. I have tried and tried to get you to take the bike off me and am more than happy to deliver it myself as I'm just down the road. Why you don't answer correspondence beggars belief when you can clearly see the damage it does to your reputation. PAS sensor. Error code 33. Even send it me and I shall fit it. Mostly disappointed especially after spending 2500.. Ribble did take it and repaired it in a couple of days. Many thanks.

I have bought numerous items online from Ribble and am very happy with the low prices, the good quality, and the prompt customer service. I am very happy with the Aero 883 which I have used extensively for club rides, commuting, and now randonnée. I am in California, so it took a bit of faith to buy a high end bike from overseas, but it was worth it. UPDATE: I am now in my second year with the 883 and have close to 8000 miles on it. I have had my R872 for nearly 6 months now and I am delighted with it. I visited the store a couple of times before buying and the service was excellent - this is the model they recommended for my commute and it is bang on! Compared to my (very) old Cannondale, it is like driving a Mercedes-Benz, so quick and nimble - perfect for my 40km round trip commute to and from Heathrow airport... the assembly was very simple after it had been delivered, so no worries there.

Service was outstanding. There's a lot of rubbish on the Web about ribble giving poor service absolute nonsense. Handed in my cycle to work voucher on the Friday got an email same day to say there was an issue so the bike wasn't ordered till the Monday (my fault I didn't see the email) was told 10-14 days for build and delivery.it arrived the next Monday. Highly recommend these guys.

Absolutely seamless experience, top marks. I built my bike on Bike builder and received said bike 10 days later ! Spent about 1100 quid for the evo pro carbon with 105 and Fulcrum racing quattro and delivery.
Bike is absolutely great in size ( M ) but i find it a big medium, i'm 5ft8 and reckon i could have got away with a small. I also like the traditional cable routing and threaded bottom bracket for ease of maintenance later on, I've heard too many expensive bikes with push fits come creaking past me.
It just needed a few tweaks when it arrived, brakes were adjusted too tight but gears worked perfect first time. checked over every bolt before riding and nothing needed tightening.
My leg warmers were missing from my summer bundle on arrival but landed through my door the following week, probably out of stock at the time.
I looked at Planet X bikes and although maybe slightly cheaper for what i wanted they didn't offer the same range of choices. I did all this online and didn't speak to anyone at Ribble or Planet X to try any bartering.
Would definatlely recommend Ribble to anyone. I will consider them next time when my commuter bike eventually gives up but my bikes last me around 10 years.

We were greeted by a bloke who seemed to not want to be there when we started asking questions. The bikes all have prices but are not actually the price for the spec... They all have 'from' prices which isn't really helpful. For me I would like to know how much something is without having to keep asking.

I am in the USA and I bought a Ribble Ultralite clearance Bike (2016) bike unseen. It was because a member of a bike forum bragged about the quality of his bike. I bought it and the customer service and communication was no different than a of Local Bike Stores. It arrived much faster than expected. They said it would be delivered by Monday of the following week but I got it the Friday week of. Everyone I know is impressed by this FAST starter bike with Tiagra Gear Set.
