We can't recommend Daniel and his team enough. They installed new doors, architrave and skirting throughout our house, including two bespoke doors and some shelving. Daniel's work is not only to a high standard but he is incredibly efficient and reliable. We appreciated all his advice throughout our project. Highly recommend this company.

Highly highly recommend Dan and his team. The team built a fitted media/cabinet unit for our lounge to spec. He was quick to respond to our initial request and quote, was very competitively priced, finished to a quality standard and was prompt, polite, communicative and tidy throughout. We'll definitely be back next time we need any carpentry/joinery work doing around the house. What about the name Insane in the Woodgrain? You're either reading this, like us, thinking 'fun name' - or wondering where it's from and if it reflects a haphazrd approach to work! It's a quirky pun on a 90s Cypress Hill song - when you meet Dan you'll realise it reflects he's a young family man with a positive, upbeat attititude who can do contemporary design...give him a try! Don't go with the big guys that'll charge you twice the price and send along a fitter on the day that's never seen the job before - you're paying for the glossy brochures and the office overheads - keep it local.

Designed and built bespoke cupboards for alcove beside fireplace with finishing around shelves. Bespoke cupboard in small hallway space - floor to ceiling. Beautifully made and fitted perfectly - both look like they have always been there. They also refitted the picture rail in the room which the previous owners had removed. Lovely attention to detail, workmanship to a high standard -exactly what I was looking for. Friendly, polite, neat and tidy throughout -pleasure to have around. Great communication throughout design process and arranging day for installation. Highly recommend.

An absolute delight having Dan as our carpenter, worked with us from the initial planning through to the final installation. Was Covid compliant throughout. Absolutely delighted with both the cupboard above the stairs an the new cupboard at the top of the stairs. Would recommend 100% - Pictures taken before the addition of the doors!

We asked Daniel to hang a new internal door. As it was only one door it was hard to get anyone to agree to do it as a small job. Daniel and his assistant were very helpful and friendly with what to buy and what would be needed. The door has been fitted very well and we are very happy with the result.

We recently had alcove shelving and cupboards fitted by Daniel and his team in our lounge. We were blown away by how great it looks and the attention to detail is nothing less than outstanding! Daniel made the whole process easy and nothing we requested was a problem - including some last minute sizing tweaks to ensure storage of our ever growing vinyl collection was catered for! He also provide several 3D sketches of the new units to ensure we were happy with everything before getting to work. On installation day, Daniel and his team member worked quickly and efficiently to install the custom made furniture and we couldn’t be more happy with the result. All work was completed to a high standard and all on schedule. They also kept our house look pristine during the fitting. I would not hesitate to recommend Insane in the Woodgrain for your carpentry and joinery needs. We’ve already booked them in our for our next project!

Daniel and his team member fitted an additional bannister on our main staircase. They were polite and friendly throughout, and the work was completed in record time! Before installation day, Daniel provided us with several options, including example images of previous work, to ensure we got the right look. On the day, he also provided us with some advisories on a few repairs to our staircase which we’ll likely be getting him back in the future. Really knowledgeable and approachable.
