G. A.Booked Andrew and his team for a small family get together whilst on hoilday in the lakes. We have some quite serious "foodies" in the family so needless to say expectations were quite high. I have to say though they were met and exceeded, felt very well looked after up to and throughout the event. We opted for the taste of the lakes menu but also some additions from the lakes and meres menu from which the grasmere gingerbread tiramisu was a particular highlight as was the morecambe bay crab risotto.
Again I must say Andrew's level of food knowledge was excellent throughout and the love of food really shone through from him and his team. Must also thank David and Mike who were our chef and waiter for the evening they were both very pleasant and made us all feel very relaxed throughout the course of the evening, never too intrusive but there when you needed them, just right.
Each course had a little introduction and the evening went according to our pace which again made us all very relaxed.
Will definitely book again when next up in the lakes, thank you again to Andrew and the team although next time please can you make some extra gingerbread tiramisu so we can take some home with us please?

p. s.Andrew took on our formal Saturday dinner & informal Sunday "barbecue" buffet dinner @ very short notice indeed, after the chef that we had been intending to use, left. Andrew took on the menu that we had agreed with the previous chef, vastly improving on it in terms of nice touches such as rewording & suggesting little extras, such as a taster course. He provided a fantastic menu in a scroll, using the logo & font that we were using for our 3 night joint 60th celebration @ Appleby Castle.
When it came to the formal dinner on the Saturday night, Andrew & his team pulled out all the stops to provide a superb meal, which all 32 people attending the meal absolutely could not fault; indeed I understand that many people in the group personally congratulated him for such a fabulous performance.
The barbecue on the Sunday evening was also provided with complete aplomb & the individual elements were again incredibly well thought/delicious.
I can only say that if we were ever to wish to provide a special meal again for our friends, we would undoubtedly use Andrew to provide it.
