Chicken Madras on special today is quite possibly the nicest curry curry I've ever had. Worth every penny and the team are super friendly which is always a nice bonus. 11 out of 10

Breakfast Bagels are INSANE. Always a highlight when I come into the office. Really tasty, and very addictive.

Paul and the team at Campbell's Kitchen have twice now delivered a fantastic Office Lunch to our office in the centre of Bristol. Having food to that's presented beautifully, and is made to perfection, is such a bonus for meetings at our office. Our visitors and staff have all been really impressed with the selection and quality of every item so far! To top it off, the packaging is recyclable, which is great for our green energy company! Thanks Campbell's Kitchen and keep up the good work! :)

Overall I would describe it as bit of a 'hit and miss', depending on what you order. So I guess that makes it a solid 3-star cafe. Staff are friendly. Now onto the comprehensive specifics about the food. Their salad boxes are good, they are usually a safe lunch choice. Sandwiches and toasties are also fine, although there aren't any particularly interesting bread choices (e.g. sourdough bread), but they have baguettes and paninis etc. They have a huge choice of fillings and they will make your sandwich exactly as you like it. Soups used to be very good when it was 'A Fair Shot', but have since the takeover become tiny portions and very overpriced, so I never ordered them since, as I felt they were poor value. Their fried breakfast was really nice, not sure if this is a regular or just some days of the week. The hot lunch mains are hit and miss. Most of the times I ordered the main I was disappointed. My main complaint is that they are usually too salty, so you can't taste anything else but salt. The other issue is that they try to be inventive and make some sort of strange fusion dish and some times this works and others it fails spectacularly. But their effort to be inventive and keep the menu interesting is generally a good thing, as their main clientele are the office workers. If they get bored of choices in the office cafe, they will go elsewhere. I've had some very good mains too. I also had some mains where half of it was very good and the other half disappointing (when a dish was made up of 2-3 components). The daily regular 'mac & cheese' is a bit too dry and just not cheesy at all, and the optional pulled pork topping is way too sweet (but would be good if it didn't taste like sugar syrup). I feel this dish could be very good if they tweaked it a bit. I tried several vegan cakes and they always tasted weird and powdery, with an odd aftertaste. Generally cake selection is mostly uninteresting, but on several occasions I saw some that looked interesting enough to try. Unfortunately those ended up being the weird dry powdery cakes. However, I once had a fantastic home-made black-forest gateaux several years ago. I assume that some of the home-made cake specials are good (I was probably just unlucky). The pastry selections look fine. There are many vegan choices, so this will be valuable for many people. Despite some mixed performances I would still recommend it as a decent work lunch option. Good choice for catering office lunches too.

A great service that was responsive, good value for money, and able to easily change numbers at short notice. The food was very good for the price paid with a great selection. We'll definitely be using Campbells for any future event catering and would highly recommend.

Campbell’s Kitchen catered for my mother’s 90th birthday party. I cannot fault the quality of the food, the presentation and the service. Paul was so accommodating with the different dietary requirements. I highly recommend Campbell’s Kitchen. A big thank you to Paul and his staff.

As a small business in Bristol, I have used A Fair Shot’s sandwich delivery service on several occasions and I have been delighted with the efficient and tasty service provided. The sandwiches were delivered at the requested time and the staff are always happy to include special requirements, all of which is very important when hosting client meetings.
My particular sandwich was an all time favourite, Brie and cranberry in a baguette with a fresh, crunchy salad. It was perfect. Paul and his team are always friendly and polite on the phone and at the point of delivery of the sandwiches, helping the atmosphere of a lunchtime office meeting.
The sandwiches were delivered with plenty of time so that when the meeting came to its appropriate lunch break there was no time wasted (and no hungry clients).
I would recommend A Fair Shot’s catering to businesses in Bristol needing sandwich platters and lunch deliveries for team or client meetings.

Great little cafe at the bottom of Sandy Park Road, slightly overshadowed now by Cafe Grounded. Coffee is fairly average but cheap, and they have a wide range of sandwich fillings plus soups and a few hot food options. They also offer business catering, and have an outdoor seating area for the warmer months.

Lovely café, friendly staff and delicious food. Place is located in the office building so dont have separate entrance. To get there you have to go through the main entrance to the Whitefriars. Its a bit confusing but totally wort the hustle.
