We hired Midlands Catering for our wedding, to provide canapés during the drinks reception and grazing platters for our main meal. The food, service and quality was impeccable and so professional. We didn’t want a ‘traditional’ wedding breakfast, and what we got was exactly what we wanted! The food was quirky, rustic, and a massive talking point for all of our guests. The staff were friendly, professional and approachable, and guests commented on how accommodating they all were. Couldn’t recommend this company more, it was absolutely exactly what we wanted!

I found this company by doing a search and was very pleased I did. The venue we chose had no electric or water so was worried about keeping food warm. I ordered the jacket potato menu so a change from the normal sandwich buffet and it was amazing! The potatoes were still boiling home 5 hours later All the food was delicious and I would definitely recommend this company. Thank you so much for doing our catering for our event last weekend!

Just been to Shepherds View Lodge and arranged for a 3 course meal one evening. The menus were sent prior with so much choice to narrow it down to 2. All options looked amazing. The food that was cooked on the night was fantastic! Everyone said how fab it all was! So tasty and the staff were lovely and friendly too. Thanks! 😊

We hired Lynne and her team to cater for a dinner party for 30 people for my husbands 60th birthday. Lynne provided the catering for breakfast and dinner. We had mushrooms or soup to start, pork or salmon for mains and sticky toffee or pavlova for pud. Everyone raved about the food and thought it was delicious, really well presented and hot! Not only that, Lynne helped with hiring linen and provided a team that went above and beyond the call when our bar person called in sick. The rest of the team worked doubly hard to make up for this. I'm sure it was hectic behind the scenes but we did not get even a hint of that, the service was excellent. After every meal catered by Lynne, the kitchen was left in an immaculate state - we did not even know she had been there. Would recommend without hesitation.

I don't usually leave reviews, however, Lynne and her team did a fantastic job for catering my recent birthday that I wanted to say thanks. The food was very tasty, went down a treat with the guests and was very reasonably priced. Lynne undertook a lot of the coordination with the venue directly which saved me a job and kept me up to date, which allowed me to enjoy the event more! Just wanted to say such a massive thank you for everything you did on Saturday, from the food to service - everything was fantastic and everyone was so complimentary of the food. My personal favourite was the gluten free black forest cake! The running of the day was so smooth and completely stress free for us (I hope not too bad for you haha). One of the guests was coeliac and she said she had never been so well catered for which is a massive compliment! Thank you also for your really clean tidy up, at the end of the event all we had to do was sweep around the tables for the last remaining rubbish which took us minutes and then bags left neatly outside for us to remove from site. It genuinely meant a lot to not spend all Sunday cleaning up!

Lynne was an absolute star from start to finish. Great communication from the moment they were selected. We catered a Christmas Meal for a team of 60 in 4 sittings due to the capacity of the room. Lynne came and setup very quickly. A self sufficient team that needed very little help from us. All we did was give them a spot to set up and off they went. The food was to a very high quality and fresh for every sitting. A vegetarian option as well which was very tasty. I would highly recommend Midland Catering Company and would definitely use them again if we had an opportunity

What a great service. I was hunting around for companies that were still serving the public in this time of lock down so that I could have a virtual afternoon tea with my sister for her birthday. I contacted the company asking about availability, we ordered 2 individual afternoon teas for myself and my wife. From the start right through to completion, the communication was superb, even giving me an estimated time of arrival for our delivery on the day. There was a bit of social distancing to handle, but the hand off at the door went smoothly and the food was wonderful. Vegetarian options were separated out from the meat options and everything was wrapped up and prepared to a high degree of quality. Highly recommended.

Lynne recently did a bbq for us at our house and I cannot recommend her highly enough. Lynne catered my sons 21st party in October 2016 for around 75 guests. Knowing that drinking & dancing would most likely be priority with that age group, we wanted a simple, help yourself, value for money offering. Beautiful trays of hot pulled pork and carved roasted pork in gravy were provided (on burners for keeping warm), along with large soft rolls, stuffing & coleslaw. Super tasty, plenty of it and brilliant value for money. Highly recommended..
