Outstandingly delicious food. I was lucky enough to be at a retreat that THK catered for a week and every single dish was wonderful. They catered to a wide range of dietary needs never making anyone feel like they were missing out or causing problems. The only thing better than the food was the team, a thoroughly lovely bunch of people. The whole team went above and beyond to take care of us and I can only hope I get another chance to eat their yummy food.

The team from Highland Kitchen catered a week-long event I attended. The hot breakfasts and dinners were absolutely delicious--the food was authentic to the location and was some of the best representation of local cuisine I have had. Boxed lunches were carefully thought out. The desserts each evening were incredible. All of the offerings balanced and complimented one another in every meal. Alex and Gregg were so gracious and lovely. I give The Highland Kitchen the highest of recommendations.

I had the distinct pleasure of having food catered by The highland Kitchen for the last week. Beyond just the general loveliness of these kind and engaging folks, the food they made was better than what I get in most fancy restaurants. They make locally sourced, local recipe foods catered for any palate and dietary restriction. Their vegetarian options were the best I have ever had on travel. The vegetarian haggis is something I NEED in my repertoire and their potatoes were the easy favorite. Well, also their ginger stem cake, stick toffee pudding, lemon thyme cake, macaroons, fruit crisps... IF you have the chance to engage thee folks, run! Don't walk. You not only won't be disappointed, you'll be left craving their food.

If I could have carted Greig and Alex home with me I would have. I had the pleasure of eating their meals, snacks, teas, and deserts for 5 days. Everything was delicious and the presentation immaculate. I ate Haggis, and loved it, devine mac and cheese, and salmon quiches that made me cry out when I bit it to the crust. Every night Greig would present the most beautiful, lovely tasting deserts. I usually skip desert but every night I greedily gobbled up his offerings. The Highland Kitchen is extremely accommodating of dietary restrictions and I know Alex works very hard to tweak recipes to fit everyone's needs that will be just as delicious as the originals. They are lovely fun people as well and just elevate an atmosphere by being there. You can not go wrong hiring them to cater your wedding, retreat, parties, or hen party!

Highly recommend! They catered for a weeklong writing retreat and everything was so amazing! Their desserts especially were so delicious. It was a real treat to have them providing 3 meals a day + an afternoon snack + dessert (aka pudding) after dinner! I'm vegetarian and I appreciated all the care they put into making sure there were always satisfying options for me and everyone else with dietary restrictions. The team as a whole is so lovely and kind as well. They did such a wonderful job!

I was already excited about The Highland Kitchen catering our recent writer's retreat (on presentation alone) before even arriving. But now that I've been spoiled properly for an entire week with diverse flavors and mind-blowing desserts, I realized I had underestimated. After a few of us tested and discovered we had asymptomatic Covid and had to isolate to one part of the grounds for a few of the days, The Highland Kitchen team plated and wrapped every one of our meals to be delivered to us! Greig and his team are an absolute dream! They catered a week-long writing retreat I had the privilege to attend, and they were everything we could have hoped for and more. The food was incredible and inclusive (we had so many different dietary restrictions and they were amazing about catering to everyone's needs, and doing it in a way that in no way sacrificed taste)! I'm going to miss the nightly dessert announcements and the afternoon tea time. I will be dreaming of ginger cake and those broiled potatoes until the day I die. If you're considering The Highland Kitchen for your event, trust me when I say you will not be disappointed!

Greig and his team catered a writers’ retreat I attended and were maybe the highlight of the whole trip. They were so thoughtful about catering to all our dietary restrictions, and making sure I got the same meals as everyone else AND was able to safely eat them, and of course everything was delicious. I’m already missing cake three times a day and Greig’s daily dessert announcement (always extremely worth the hype; I’ll be dreaming about the fresh rhubarb crumble for a long long time). Thank you for such a terrific experience, such wonderful food, and so much care. Cannot recommend the Highland Kitchen enough!

Look, if you’re here checking to see how good the Highland Kitchen team is? Hire them immediately. I just came from a weeklong retreat catered by this team and they are phenomenal. Everyone spent the entire week raving about the delicious, delicious food. Furthermore, the inclusivity of their cooking is incredible. I was with a group of 30+ people with diverse dietary restrictions, and every single need was met with careful consideration and compassion. No one with special diet needs got any sort of lesser substitute; they ALWAYS found a way to make the meal for us, and to make it splendid. It has been 2 days since we left the retreat, and everyone is still talking about how much we miss the meals (outrageously yummy) and the kitchen crew (unbelievably hospitable and kind). Do yourself a favor and snap Greig’s team up for your event. I am positive that you will be happy you did.
