Loved the food and drinks and the staff were super super lovely. Nothing was too much trouble and they helped us choose our food since it was our 1st visit. The absolute only reason it didn't get 5 stars (which the place really does deserve) is simply down to the price of the menu, which was rather expensive. It was definitely more of a treat place than an everyday lunch. Definitely go and enjoy some amazing food served by lovely people!

Very good Vietnamese restaurant in Leicester, there is more around UK too. Best selection of dishes are the Pho noodle soups (traditional Vietnamese plate) and the rice Currys. Vegetarian options available too. Ideal to go with friends or couples. Medium price. Available some student discounts and NHS discount. Open space with distance between tables. Also has tables outside.

Great tasting food, good drinks lovely staff and a wonderful looking place but a bug put a downer near the end of our dinner. We ordered pancake and summer rolls with spring rolls to start, the pancake was generous, spring rolls not so much but all of them tasted really good. Mocktails, cocktails and beer were all tried and were really good (some crushing is involved if you find it to be too sweet) The phō mains were good with a generous amount. The fried rice noodles were very good and very generous and this is where the bug decided to land halfway though eating. The staff was notified and shown the bug but no remedial action was offered. There is a picture of the little guy because he was hooked on the noodles!

First time visitng and I highly recommend Pho to anyone who enjoys Asian cuisine. Very worth paying for. Flavourful food accompanied with excellent customer service. A wide range of accomodating choices along with delicious fresh juices that are refreshing and healthy. Had the rice bowls which are bigger than they look and very filling as they come with rice, vegetables and meat/meat alternative of your choice. Will definitely be going back!

The first time we tried Pho, the staff were a little difficult to get ahold of but the food was amazing. We tried 2 of the vegan dishes and the fried tofu and button mushroom classic Pho- probably one of the best noodle soup dishes I have had this year! I would not recommend the hot and spicy soups if you are looking for spice as these were more sour than spicy, at least for the vegan option, but it's still nice these exist as an option!

Good ambiance and decor, friendly helpful staff who went through the menu options. Bar code menu scan would not work on my phone, however the specials were very limited. Enjoyed their version of a chicken curry and rice. Cocktails were average, highly priced and mostly made up of ice cubes. Overall the family enjoyed the evening and we would visit again.

Came here for a friend’s birthday, Delicious food absolutely spot on & the service was second to none, I had the spring rolls to start with & then the prawn curry, finished by a jasmine tea - it was very tasty. Brilliant meal in Leicester. We've been to Pho in Portsmouth and we're looking forward to another chance to try Vietnamese food. The dishes were superb just a shame that service was poor. Took ages to talk our order, then drinks were delivered without glasses. When glasses did arrive, they were just slammed down on the table. No style at all.

We usually love Pho. Delicious food and service is on point. However today we had a couple of issues. 1) Squid portion almost half of normal. 2) mushroom and tofu curry came without mushrooms! When we queried it we were told that it doesn't come with mushrooms. Guess they will need to correct their menu! On the plus side the dishes were all delicious again.

Pho is about the best consistency chain restaurant in Leicester. Always tasty and fresh, I eat before work often. Staff are well trained and friendly, while the establishment is very clean always. The rice roll starters remain my favourite.

Have a nice selection of vegan/vegetarian dishes, staff friendly and welcoming, loved the fresh fruit drinks. Staff helped us choose our dishes. The only reason it does not get a 5 star is that it was a little expensive. I'd recommend. Just one last word of caution for nut allergens, peanuts in every dish unless you request none. Wish I had because I didn't realise they'd add heaps of crushed peanuts on all the dishes.

I had a rice bowl and it far exceeded my expectations, I had been here a while back and got a noodle soup which did smell a bit funny but I assume it was to do with the amount of fish sauce they were using. It did taste fine though but the smell was a bit off putting. Overall I am happy with the service and quality of food

I've had a great time both times I've been here, with good customer service maintained despite the current situation and rush. The food itself has great flavours to it and overall quite balanced. The morning glory (water spinach) is a must-try, as it has an authentic taste to it. The portions are also very generous! There only small issues are that the food might be a tad too salty for some; equally, the 'Vietnamese coffee' didn't have the same strength of the traditionally-used robusta coffee beans. To end on a positive note, the staff are very attentive, polite, and seem to really care for your experience.

What to say about Pho - The food was divine and to say the staff were amazing, is an understatement. They were knowledgable about coeliac disease and fully explained the way the starters are cooked in separate fryers to ensure we could make the right dietary choices for my Dad. as someone who is vietnamese their starters are very nice! pho is extremely bland compared to authentic pho so i had bun bo hue instead but even that was quite bland - but i guess the owners arent vietnamese so wouldnt really know authenticity. but if youre looking for something different defo try. nuoc mam was also very bland but i guess its tailor made to british peoples tastes.

Nicely laid out restaurant, if a little cramped. The service is quite slow but it has been busy the last few times we've been there. The choice on the menu is very good and they have a good selection of dishes which are gluten-free. The food itself is superb and tastes really fresh and vibrant. Having tried a number of the starters and mains I am happy that the quality and taste is consistently good across everything I've had. I would be happy to recommend to friends and family.

The goi cuon is really good here. The pho and bun bo we ordered were ok. But the goi xoai was very sour (I thought my teeth were gonna fall off) and unfortunately didn't achieve the perfect sweet-sour-salty-spicy balance. Service was good and friendly. And love that kids eat free in their summer promotion.

We've been here a few times now, and this is the first time we have been told that there is fish sauce in one of the starters even tho we asked for the veggie version. In general, the service seems to be hit or miss as well as the quality of the cocktails. The food itself is delicious. Also, this is the first occasion we've been aware of the student discount. Went with my girlfriend and the experience was amazing. The server was one of the nicest I have ever encountered. He walked us through the entire menu, and when we ordered, we explain every detail we might need to make our experience the best it can be. The food was delicious and very filling. Modern aesthetics and brilliantly authentic Vietnamese cuisine! Myself and a friend stopped here for the first time in October after receiving a Pho student wristband with 25% off. As you enter you are met by lovely bar staff who can make a wide variety of drinks and flavour combinations. There is plenty of seating although would still recommend booking in advanced during peak hours. For a beginner the staff were very friendly in their suggestions and answering our queries. One member even let us sample some broth to find which bowl of pho would be best for us. Pictured is the chili squid and crispy siracha wings for starter, and chicken pho and steak pho for mains. Starters were amazing, definitely recommend the wings, we shared both starters and were very satisfied with the flavour and portion size. With the pho you get a side dish of varies herbs and garnishes to tailor you pho as you wish. This is very effective and innovative as you can adjust the flavour as you go! Very fulling and tasty, a very enjoyable experience for our first time experiencing Vietnamese food. Definetly hearty and soul food perfect for all occasions.

Finally we made it and have to say the food was amazing the chicken wings and baby squid as a starter been really nice and our main course been delicious. The new cocktail on the menu is a great addition to the drink menu and my son been really happy about his main course but especially about the chocolate ice cream. Pho is colourfully decorated and has a vibrant atmosphere. Staff are very welcoming, polite and helpful. Took 30 mins without booking to secure a table for six on a busy Saturday night and the staff were so accommodating they were amazing. The menu provides a variety of food options including vegan and halal dishes. Our waitress named Ingrid was super helpful, showed discretion upon request, served our meals and drinks within 20 mins which is fantastic. The evening was a great experience and Ingrid made our night the best ever. We will definitely be a returning customer.

They managed to quickly seat our group of 9 mid afternoon on a Sat. Friendly n fast moving team. Food was absolutely gorgeous. My favourite place to go to for safe gluten free food when eating out. Atleast 95% of the menu is GF and the server normally asks if you have any dietary requirements/allergies so they can take special precautions in the kitchen. I also just love their food!!

Been there twice so far and both times really pleased with the food and the service. On the first visit I've ordered one of the noodle soups and was explained how to eat the starters and everything about the herbs selection coming on the side. I was there in the mid-week daytime when it is not as busy and I do recommend it for an early dinner (especially with the starter and main offer for under £10), but bare in mind the food has a specific flavour of Asia and if you're not a fan of the spice selection of this part of the world you might not enjoy it ;)

If I had to suggest ONE thing to try here it's the Vietnamese Coffee, comes in a traditional filter with condensed milk - So rare to find in Leicester and I come here just for the coffee sometimes! I've been around SE Asia a few times and the food lives true to its roots. Lunch deal is very great for price. Will be here many times more!

Had the spicy green special. Was fine spice level but with the little tray of herbs you get you could make it really kick. You get loads in the bowl, plenty of chicken, noodles and greens. The sauce was like a Thai red curry sauce. Very nice, price was not the cheapest but was good value. Would definitely go again. Take your pick for mains, I had wok noodles with chicken and prawn..a little more prawns would be ideal. Service was good given it was a Saturday. Nice meal out overall.

Good location and ambience. Staff is friendly and fast. However, food is not that genuine taste, especially with broth and soup for pho. There is no magical one for all soup (for different types of buns and phos). Traditional photo soup must be extremely hot, beef should be sliced so thin that you just spread a layer of raw beef on top of photo bowl and pour the extremely hot soup on and it is done. The one in Westfield is better. Anyway, you could not ask for more as this is a "western owner" Vietnamese restaurant. You get the idea of whether a restaurant food is actually authentic just by looking at the customers proportion (should not expect an authentic taste if not many customers are Vietnamese or at least Chinese looking Asian - quite similar taste). Most Vietnamese restaurants in UK are just up to OK if in Hackney, London (or Croydon where the Vietnamese chef wins chef award) , vs ones in Prague (Sapa market) or Berlin (Dong Xuan center) or Paris (district 13).

I love vietnamese food, got excited and ordered lots of food. Beef pho soup is excellent. Not too salty and close enough to home made. Banana blossom salad is fragrant. Morning glory is like home made as well. Lotus salad is a must have. However Wok fried noodles does not taste 'fried' no wok 'hey' so won't order this again. They won't allow any doggie bag if you can't finish your food. Great service though especially from Thue who is Vietnamese. Would go back for the pho, salads and try the other things on the menu. And hopefully they do desserts next time.
