At Punjabi wedding’s the food is one, if not the most important part of the wedding. If the food isn’t great the guests don’t enjoy themselves, but with Shivams I’ve never had that worry.
I recently got married and had Shivams cater for all the events for my wedding, they have an exceptional standard of food and customer service. Mayur, Melissa and the team went above and beyond for myself and my husband on our big day. Also compliments to Raaj the head chef who never disappoints with delivering delicious food.

Shivam Events catered for our Civil breakfast which was a well created Asian infused Afternoon Tea followed by catering for our Hindu Wedding and Reception - From Pau bhaji and manchurians to crispy mini samosas and Paneer - As we write this, we could eat it all over again! We cannot thank you all enough. Not only us but every single person who attending the wedding as well as staff could not fault the food - they all loved it, we quote 'Best Wedding Food we have ever had'. C. T.Shivam were with us for two years through the pandemic period and their service never once dropped from the tasting with Sonam right through to the day with Mayur. The food is outstanding. We had both an authentic Gujarati thali and an English option for our wedding breakfast and the first thing all guests commented on was how amazing the quality was. The thali was exceptional and the service was brilliant as the staff went around all tables to offer more food. The reception buffet was equally fantastic with amazing service as well. The team catered for our extremely gluten intolerant grandma with such care and attention. The team also remembered some of my person requests when we met them two years ago! I would thoroughly recommend Shivam to absolutely anyone looking for quality canapes, table service, and buffet food for authentic, homemade Indian cuisine. Thanks guys!
D. M.We couldn’t have been happier with our choice to have Shivam’s as our wedding caterers for our Civil Wedding, Hindu ceremony and Reception party. Mayur and his team were extremely professional and thorough throughout the whole process, answering all of our queries in detail. Even going through the process to come up with an English style menu for our Civil wedding, they exceeded expectations! We didn’t speak to a single guest that didn’t compliment the food for all of the events! They truly were incredible and made our wedding one to remember for all! The catering ran so smoothly and it was amazing that they were always about to attend to everything. Honestly couldn’t have been happier with how things went, and we would definitely recommend to all!

During the tasting process they were receptive to all of our comments. Nothing was ever too much for Shivam's, we asked them for lactose free masala chai a few days before the wedding and they delivered, we asked them for more canapés on the day of the wedding (whilst we were eating starters) and they delivered... nothing was too much!
Sonam stayed in touch from the day we booked until the day after the wedding. Mayur and Sonam were both so attentive on the day of the wedding. The food was incredible, the organisation was perfect and we can't wait to have Shivam Events catering again!

S. P.I and my elderly family of 4 enjoyed a Thali lunch and enjoyed it very much . The food was freshly cooked , not too hot and very tasty . The young lady serving us was very pleasent and respactful . As for the price , well worth it and to some extent -- Under Priced . They must give more attension to the Toilet area and make sure there is nothing lacking. We will recommend our friends to come there and we too will come back during our visit to Leicester.
