Black Peppermint catered for our wedding recently and they were brilliant! Our guests all loved the food and couldn’t stop complimenting the beef in particular (you could cut it with a spoon!). The team are great, very responsive to emails, friendly and really helpful the day before, on the day and after too. Everything worked seamlessly with helping to plan our meal (they have so much choice!) and also on our wedding day, the team have the perfect level of attentiveness. Thank you all! Emma and Alex

I cannot recommend Black Peppermint Food Company enough. When we were looking for caterers for our wedding, we met with a few, most of which handed over a huge ring binder of endless menus and started with something along the lines of 'we don't do anything for under £3000'. BPC on the other hand were the exact opposite. For starters they came with a little taster so you know what to expect with their food (and my goodness it is incredible!) and then they make it clear that it's YOUR day and that they're there to work with you on what you want - not a ring binder in sight! They're happy to work with your vision and to your budget. We discussed the various ideas we were going for - easy going food that wasn't too pretentious and they suggested their sharing plates. Think Christmas dinner but with whatever you want on the plates getting passed around the table. This was absolutely perfect for what we wanted and they were extremely accommodating with the endless dietary requirements for our guests - they made sure the vegans were provided for (and they didn't all need to sit together!), gluten free guests could have their own special pizza bases for the evening food and (most importantly) they don't use nuts in ANYTHING which is fantastic for us as my nephew has a very severe nut allergy. Now when I say the food was incredible, I mean it was absolutely out of this world. Our guests are still talking about it - the canapes especially went down an absolute treat, and the wait staff made sure my husband and I didn't miss out on these absolute beauties, actively hunting us down when we were busy greeting people or having our photos taken to make sure we still got to eat. The chefs at BPC are nothing short of genius, friendly and completely understanding of the importance of the food at these events. Thank you so so much for making the day so perfect and I hope we're able to use you again for another event in the future!

If you want to fill your guests and yourselves with high quality fresh tasting food, then we highly recommend booking this team to do that for you. Our guests could not stop and still now compliment the food they had on our wedding day. They accommodate all food allergies, requests and dietary requirements without hesitation. Perfect portions and outstanding staff delivering to your table, they were more then helpful on the day and before. We knew on our taster day just what we would be getting on the special day and it was more then perfect for us. Completely efficient in every way and friendly which makes the entire experience with Black Peppermint 10/10 We will forever recommend this team and if we could get married all over again we wouldn't hesitate to book. We recently booked Black Peppermint Food company to cater our wedding and, wow! They blew us away. The food was absolutely delicious and all of our guests keep raving about their meals! We’ve been told several times that it was the best food people have ever had at a wedding (particularly the slow cooked derbyshire beef!) All of the staff on the day were fab- so organised, polite and professional - and they kept everything running smoothly. 5 star service! Everything leading up to the big day was super easy, and the tasting session was so much fun and definitely a highlight of our planning journey. Black Peppermint provided the catering for our wedding at Aswarby Rectory in August last year and I cant recommend them enough! We only had 4 months to plan everything after cancelling our destination wedding due to Covid and they were so helpful and accommodating throughout the whole process, even allowing 2 tastings when we were struggling to decide on our favourite dishes! We liaised with Rich from start to finish and he also managed the day for us and was truly amazing. The food, presentation and service were all incredible, you won’t be disappointed!

We could not recommend Black Peppermint more highly - the loveliest people, the BEST food, and the creativity to create an absolutely epic, unique menu for your wedding. Everyone communication (and the communication was spot on) was a pleasure, and we felt safe in their hands from the beginning. Our meeting to discuss our menu was so much fun, and they helped us to create something that was completely us. During the set up, Adam and his team were absolute stars. They helped us with every detail. On the day, a lot of our set-up had blown over in the wind and they put the whole lot back together! It could not have looked more beautiful. The food was cooked to absolute perfection, and we still haven't stopped having people commenting on how unbelievable every element was - particularly when it was all cooked in a field!! No mean feat with steak for 100 guests! You couldn't find lovelier, more talented or more reliable people. We can't thank you enough x

We recently hired Black Peppermint Food Company to cater at our wedding this year and we were not disappointed! The entire planning process with the team was a breeze and no question was a “silly” question. The team were organised and the food they cooked was out of this world! Everyone loved the food throughout the day and we have especially had so many comments about the pizza at night - how warm it was and delish! Luke wishes he wasn't so nervous about doing his speech otherwise would have cleared a lot more and Alice is thoroughly depressed she will never get to try anything alike the salmon or trio desert again! All the staff were so helpful, professional and accommodating and the presentation of the food (especially the canapés) were amazing! WOW! Where to start! Black peppermint did the food for our wedding and it was incredible - would 100% recommend. We had Black Peppermint cater our wedding in Sheffield in June 2019. The whole experience was fantastic. From booking to tasting, refining the menu and then the actual wedding day itself the whole team done a great job. The catering on the day ran with military like precision the food looked and tasted great. The team at Black Peppermint were fantastic and extremely friendly. From initial contact they were very attentive, paying close attention to detail at every stage. During the tasting session they made us feel so welcome. Even accommodating for the fact that I am in a wheelchair by setting up a table in the kitchen so that access wouldn’t be an issue. Nothing was too much trouble. All of the guests at our wedding commented on how sensational the food tasted and how well presented the dishes were. Catering for our guests with special food requirements was also made easy with a great offering for vegetarians. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend their company to anyone who is planning an event. Wow!! What an incredible company all round. Not only is the food DELICIOUS, but the service is above and beyond.. quite literally! I'm sure everyone by now has heard of that little thing called COVID19 and how it pretty much ruined the wedding industry for the best part of 15 months. Our wedding was on the 26th June 2021, just under 2 weeks before our wedding was Boris' vague announcement saying weddings could go ahead as long as 'social distancing' was implemented. Trying to navigate these restrictions with the venue was a challenge to say the least. But the team at Black Peppermint were amazing with offering help and guidance on this, even talking to our venue directly on our behalf to reassure them on the rules - allowing us to have the wedding we dreamed of! If that wasn't enough, to ensure the day ran smoothly they gave us extra waitress staff free of charge. All the food on the day was amazing. From canapes, to the 3 course meal, to pizza on the evening... we cannot recommend this company enough.

We used Black Pepper Mint for our wedding at Irnham Hall on 23/08/19, they were amazing. Right from when we booked them, they just knew exactly what was needed. Myself and my wife are big foodies, so getting the food right was important to us - Black Peppermint excelled. Nothing was too much for them, we made tweaks to what they recommended and they just went with it. These guys are brilliant, flexible and I would 100% recommend them.
