We chose The Good Grub Company to cater for our wedding at our tipi venue in Lincoln 3 years ago and finally got to experience their food at our wedding this weekend! Jamie and Laura were so understanding and accommodating throughout covid, allowing us to move our date several times! We were lucky enough to have a tasting session just before lockdown and felt very privileged to be able to sample such a delicious tapas menu - we knew then that our wedding was going to be very special! On the day the food was cooked to perfection and everyone was served their food without a hitch - and it's no easy task catering for 100 hungry adults at a wedding! They even took the time to check our baby boy was ok, offering to make him his own little plate of food. We cannot recommend and thank The Good Grub Company enough, from their outstanding food, down to their immaculate organisation and attention to detail. We met Jamie & Laura when we were looking for caterers for our summer wedding. They are such a great couple and obviously a great team.They couldn't be more accommodating whilst we were doing the planning, letting us edit menus and ideas and everything was completely stress free. Seeing this we knew that we'd made a great choice, but then on the big day they just went ahead and even exceeded our expectations! We were feeding nearly 200 people and were worried it might get a bit sticky, but Jamie and Laura are true professionals and know exactly what they're doing. The food was just delicious, cooked to perfection, the salads were amazing, and the service was silky smooth. Nobody went hungry, and in the weeks afterwards there were so many comments about how great the food was at our wedding and "the feeders" that we'd booked! Paul and I had the good grub company do the catering for our wedding, we had a bbq and the food was amazing, it ran very smoothly and professionally, they also did our bar which was also great, Jamie and Laura are lovely people to work with and can not do enough for you, the staff were also great and friendly, I will recommend them to everyone, They deserve to do so well as they work very hard and put everything into their work, Thankyou from the both of us for making our special day even more special. The Good Grub Catering Co did a fabulous job catering for a retirement party. The food was amazing, especailly the delious alternatives for those with allergies. The company went that extra mile to make sure that the occasion was very special for a long serving member of staff. I would highly recommend them for any occasion.
