Decent, medium sized cafe just off the main drag. Offering a wide range of hot and cold food with a selection of cakes. Good value, nice choice of breakfast and lunchtime foods, clean inside with friendly staff. Did the job nicely. Recommended.

Great little breakfast spot. Clean, friendly and great food. I had been craving an omelette and was not disappointed. It was generous and loaded with filling. Good cuppa tea too! The selection of fresh cakes to have by the slice looked delicious, though I'll save those for another time. 👌🏼

A friend and I were after a spot of lunch and came across this place. The staff were welcoming and friendly, the place was busy and the cakes on display looked delicious. I had the super duper hot chocolate - it's the best I've ever had with flake, Maltesers and marshmallows! The food was exceptional too. A good selection and reasonably priced, plus the portion was larger than expected. Unfortunately it meant we weren't able to fit in cake too. Overall it is the best lunch I've had out in a long time and we shall definitely be returning!

Popped in for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised. Never seen a menu that does breakfast so well, plenty of choice and cooked to absolute perfection. The pancakes with berries and Greek yoghurt was presented beautifully and the pancakes were really fluffy. The staff were really friendly and had all greeted you with a smile which makes a massive difference first thing in the morning. Will be visiting again next time I am in Lincoln

Great little cafe, very clean as soon as anyone left the tables were cleaned straight away. We visited for breakfast food was lovely, pancakes looked really fluffy. Portion sizes were good. 4 different breakfasts, 7 drinks all came to just over £49 which I didn't think was bad at all especially given the quality of the food. We knew it was good as they were queuing out the door to get in!

I have now been there three times. First time was tea and tea cake. Second was a small breakfast and tea and this time a full breakfast and tea. Each time I have been the food was delicious, freshly cooked and brilliant quality. Would highly recommend going for a visit. The staff were lovely and the premises were inviting and really clean. The Caesar salad was good but I found the Cherry and almond cake disappointing - the sponge was lovely but the jam was blackberry rather than cherry and what I expected to be cream or butter cream was icing so the whole thing was really dry

Safe to say I’m gutted that I never tried Thomas 2 sooner. I have been wanting to go since 2012 but kept saying next time. Service is amazing and food is amazing! My partner had a sausage and bacon sandwich and I had the bbq chicken ciabatta. We were both really impressed by the food! My ciabatta sandwich was HUGE. It was so good but I did leave a little as it was so big but worth every mouth full. Before leaving we both said when we come back to Lincoln it’ll be our go to lunch spot. We didn’t eat any cake as we were so full. However they looked incredible!

👌🏻Afternoon tea was A-mazing!! We ordered a savoury and a sweet afternoon tea, both for 1 person. Not an overwhelming amount which can be offputting - Perfect for 2 meals for 2 people. A very professional team, fantastic and friendly service, we highly recommend Thomas2, can't wait for the premises to open again. They have some gorgeous cakes on display to have, but I thought I'd try the american-style pancakes and they were fantastic! Staff are very pleasant and accommodating. This is one of my favourite places for a light meal or snack, either on my own or with friends. It's in a very handy position on the edge of At Swithin's Square, no more than a couple of minutes from the main shopping area. It's comfortable, clean, has friendly staff and I've never had long to wait to be served. If you can't find something you like on the very varied menu then you must be very hard to please. The number of returning customers I see when visiting is a reference in itself!

Really nice place to go for a cuppa, cake, lunch and breakfast... which we had for lunch! Big portions and really nice quality. Table service, and the staff are lovely and efficient. The cakes they do are yummy and they don't scrimp on the amount they give you. We almost went to Jenny's just in town but this is so much better quality and the breakfast was cheaper than the greasy stuff you get at Jenny's. A nice surprise on the corner, glad we went in.

Much more than just a café is their strapline and they're right. What a fantastic place. Great breakfast, great cakes, great atmosphere, great service. Unbeatable. Best café in town, also does outside catering for events so if you're looking for someone to do a works event or something then a visit to the café as a recce would be a treat. If this place was on the High Street you'd never get a table!
