S. G.DO NOT HESITATE… EAT HERE!
My husband is Algerian and has raved about this restaurant for years since he lived in London. After 5 years (& a pandemic) we made our way to London from California and he made sure we checked out Azou.
The food here is incredible, the ambiance is beautiful and the staff are very friendly.
My recommendations:
Start with the sardines, brik, bourek, and the bastilla (the combination of the meat and the sweetness of the cinnamon is such a wonderful taste)
Entree: Tajine zitoune (I love olives) and couscous royale (merguez, the lamb sausages are my absolute fav)
H.The food was perfect, so flavourful and soft but what made this restaurant great, was the service. Wonderful chef and wonderful decor - we would highly recommend!
