I love a pho and definitely will give the soup a thumb up here. I’m terms of flavour, it is rich and flagrant. It is just such a shame that in these pop up places dishes are served with disposable containers. It always make the portions of the dishes feel small, and we are paying the same price as going to a proper Vietnamese restaurant....

Great Vietnamese restaurant based in Crate! The food is always super tasty and high in flavour. The king prawn panko bites are amazing!! I loved these so it’s unfortunate they’ve changed them to standard prawn tempura when doing takeaways! They’re completely different - so hoping they bring the originals back! The chicken wings are also really good! The baguettes/Banh are really tasty but can occasionally be a bit on the hard side. Last time I had to throw the end bits way but the filling is incredible!! If they sorted out the bread it would be five stars! Looking forward to trying the noodle salad some time.

Delicious pho with a quality beef broth which i consider to be markedly elevated compared to many others in London. You can tell this is a family recipe the owner grew up with and lovingly continues to make. I do think the portion sizes are on the small size, but it does make up in quality.

We just had the crispy tofu banh mi. It was so delicious but also tasted healthy and refreshing. Looking forward to ordering again. Highly recommend!

I had a beef phō delivered by deliveroo (close by). The flavour and quality of the food was great! It was unfortunately let down by the packaging. It was served all together (including the fresh lime and herbs) in the same paper pot which was by that time starting to get a touch soggy along with the noodles. The trick with takeaways is to keep the soup separate from the noodles and other items that add freshness like the lime and fresh herbs which in this case had stewed in the soup for too long. The soup by this time was no longer hot either which could have been remedied by a quick zap in the microwave had it been served separately... I know this means extra containers but if they are recyclable I’m happy to rinse:) CHALLENGE: if the next time I order this, and I will, the packaging is improved, I will update this review with 5 stars.

Me and my partner have been ordering the Beef brisket & Chicken Pho every Friday as our weekly treat! Food at Hanoi Ca Phe is authentic and flavoursome. It's a great reminder of our travels to Vietnam.

Disappointing, the spring rolls were like the cheap ones you get from a Chinese takeaway - not Vietnamese style and definitely not worth £6. The Banh Mi was ok, but a bit dry, it was missing the pate that traditionally gives these sandwiches a bit of moistness.

Went to the new one on Argall Avenue, E10 7QE. Cool location. I had spring rolls and banh mi and my friend had chicken wings and prawns. One thing Walthamstow seems to lack is a brilliant Vietnamese place and this is definitely better than most but they could up their game a bit....the food isn’t as fresh as proper Vietnamese street food and lacks some of the flavour. More fresh herbs please...and summer rolls! This is an opportunity to make amazing food.

I’ve had Food from Hanoi ca phe when they did a pop up at Today Bread and the pho was delicious. I then had the pho for home delivery via Deliveroo , the pho was still tasty although i would of liked it to be piping hot. I guess this wasn’t the entire fault of the restaurant but could have been the slow delivery service. Overall, food is good and will order again :)

My favorite Vietnamese in North East London.

This is a lovely place, if authentic family owned flavours are your thing, a visit is a must. They always have options that cater to everyone's dietary requirements, from vegan to full out carnivore. Definitely recommended.

We tried this when a pop up under the arches. The food was really delicious and authentic with very generous portions. Would highly recommend you try it out. We will be going for a visit now they are based in Walthamstow
