O. A.They work with amazing restaurants but they charge £18 for delivery when the drivers are not even able to unpack the boxes for you, they will leave them at the door and ask you to unpack them quickly because they need the boxes back. Not even help you carry them to the table.
I have ordered twice with them and they’ve not been able to deliver in the chosen time slots.
Or they deliver too early or they deliver too late and the driver will say “ it is what it is”.
If you call customer service they will tell you that they are going to call you back to resolve an issue but don’t expect a call back.
E. H.EDIT: With some delay the customer service actually got back to me and confirmed their mistake. They sorted out the problem. We are are going to give them another chance.
Ordered 15 pizzas's for our weekly seminar. Immediately received three calls from the company. They were interested if we will order this regularly, so one would think they would try to keep a good customer. Unfortunately, 6 pizzas were delivered upside down and they were basically ruined. I sent an email (to the guy that called med) to complain. No response.
To be clear the problem was with the delivery and not the restaurant.
Too bad, since they are the only company delivering Pizza Pilgrims.
PS. Pizza boxes with green bottom are upside-down.
M. L.Variety; amazing, real tasty unique foods and really good choices. It’s like Deliveroo but for teams and offices.
Delivery: On time performance in my experience, 4 days and around 3 orders a day. In total out of 12 orders, 3 of these orders were too early or too late. Like +/- 30 mins outside the requested time. So for 20 people, I would make 3 orders in case one got delayed, it’s not ideal. Since it’s for business, late or too early orders are stressful. What’s really good is that almost all orders are trackable. That helps a lot!
Cost; at £18 a pop for delivery on top, it’s expensive for each delivery. All the food is rather reasonably but mainly expensive.
No mix and match: you have to order from one supplier for each delivery.
Meal Platter and Sharing items: when this is designed for offices, I’m surprised that options like this has not been grouped. It’s incredibly hard to find food that is shareable.
No cutlery or plates provided, pretty much no supplier provides it, maybe like 1 of them did when I ordered.
Always cold; hot food rarely comes hot, more like kinda lukewarm or rather chewy. Just the way it’s packaged is not hot enough.
Portions are always small: no idea why all the restaurants seem to have small portions, I ignore the headcount number on the website. I think I bite of cake is not really for 1 person, might have 2 etc.
What’s unique is the trackable delivery and the shareable platters of food. I would use it again, but if you have important meeting, I wouldn’t count on being on time.
L. D.Had an order cancelled the evening before delivery was needed. Citypantry stepped up and went the extra mile even though it was gone 6pm and from 6am the following day to help me get my lunch order by 11am. Great food and great customer service.
