L.We had a midday 'Celebration of the life of a Loved One' event to run on a Sunday at a remote location in Berkshire in the garden of a country house where we had little access to the usual facilities required by a caterer. Marie-Clare took this on without any fuss. Also, we had very little notice of the event to work within.
Marie-Clare understood the brief and was easy to work with and asked all the right questions including many you may not even have thought of. She provided some fantastic traditional and different food choices for the canapes sweet and savoury, tailored specifically for us including several gluten/dairy free and vegetarian choices. The food was delicious and very generous portions.
The mini raspberry and white chocolate cheesecakes and the choc brownies were amazing!
Marie-Clare and her staff were friendly and courteous to all our guests and ensured all had plentiful food and drinks served. They cleared up carefully before leaving and it was a delight to work with her and her team. All was taken care of and we didn’t have to worry about anything.
Marie-Clare was a delight to work with and I would thoroughly recommend them. It is refreshing to find a professional caterer locally.
S. H.Marie-Clare Cooks provided the catering for our wedding reception on 12 June. They were friendly, helpful and professional and worked with us to provide us with lovely buffet fare for our reception. The team worked hard to make the reception work in a medium sized garden and a small kitchen and worked round any issues with a positive, can do attitude. We had a wonderful reception and a large part of that was down to the lovely food, and excellent organisation of Marie- Clare, Linda and the team. We're so grateful for their help. We'd definitely engage them again and recommend to others!
G.Marie-Clare cooked the most delicious meal for my husband’s birthday on Sunday. I gave her very little notice, and she came up with a perfect menu. The Sri Lankan chicken was one of the nicest dishes I have eaten, complimented by tasty vegetable and lentil curries, and coconut rice. Marie-Clare also made mixed green salad and a bulgar wheat salad that were perfect accompanying sides for the meal.

A. K.We highly recommend Marie Clare Cooks. Marie Clare catered for our small wedding at very short notice, we had wanted a mixture of canapes as we did not have a sit down meal. Marie Clare worked with us to make sure all of our guests' dietary requirements were met and within our budget. She was very informative, approachable and made great suggestions, to ensure that every component complimented each other and was incredibly fresh so that when we were ready to eat, everything looked and tasted delicious. Our bites were modern, sophisticated and packed full of flavour and delivered to the venue on time, without a hitch and it was one thing we really didn't have to worry about! With a wide variety of meals and dishes on offer, I would definitely use Marie Clare Cooks for all sorts of events, or on my wishlist is to simply purchase a proper family meal when I'm pushed for time... yes she really does cater for everything!! Thank you for adding a bit of sparkle to our special day Marie Clare!
J. B.I absolutely love all the dishes, particularly the leek lasagne and the paneer curry 😋. I discovered Marie Clare Cooks when I was thinking about all the lovely meals I was missing due to lockdown and the curse of cooking for one. The meals are perfectly prepared, ordering is simple and hassle free, and I choose delivery which is by means of lovely chap on a bicycle. I buy a few main meals at a time and put some in the freezer, the meals all freeze well and taste delicious a few days later. Couldn’t ask for more really.
