Penelope catered for our drinks party. Penelope's food was sensational and guests at the drinks, unprompted, asked us who Penelope was and how they could get hold of her contact details. This was no surprise to us as we also found the food delicious. Efficient. Charming. And a great cook. That's Penelope! Highly recommended.

Penelope catered for our daughter's christening. The food was wonderful and a number of the guests have since asked for her details. The canapes were very generous and there was plenty to go around. Penelope was very responsive and professional and the waitress (Stella) was very efficient and friendly. All round a brilliant experience.

The amazing array of canapés somehow continued to get better each time they appeared from the kitchen. Penelope and Stella were very professional and had a great attitude! Penelope and her team did a great party for us at home. She was really helpful talking me though food choices and the food was all divine! Penelope catered a back garden BBQ and Baby shower. The BBQ was excellent - she gave me some great ideas for the menu and came and cooked everything during the party - even in my tiny BBQ and terrible oven! For the baby shower she made some great suggestions and prepared everything for me to pop in the oven. Everyone loved the food at both events and I loved not having to plan anything! I will certainly use her again.

Amazing experience with Penelope who cooked a BBQ for my birthday. She worked on the menu with me making several useful suggestions and made amazingly delicious salads, vegetarian dishes and meat mains. The highlights for me were the ribs and heritage tomato, mozzarella and avocado salad. Would happily recommend Penelope and hope to use her again soon.

Penelope catered my small garden wedding last summer, straight after the first lockdown, and I am so thankful I chose such a wonderful caterer. She spent over an hour on the telephone with me meticulously helping me choose my menu, and provided catering help on the day. I had the most wonderful experience using Penelope Evans Catering to recreate our wedding meal as a surprise to my husband for our 4year wedding anniversary on 1 July 2020. We got married in Italy so naturally the food was completely divine and big portioned and we had selected a main dish that was a speciality in the area (Porchetta); Penelope was able to recreate this so beautifully and we joked that she may have actually done a better job with the Porchetta than our Tuscan wedding caterer! Everything was beautifully presented with dishes clearly labelled to pop straight into the oven or keep chilled such as the heritage tomatoes with burrata and freshly torn basil. A really special occasion made extra special with our amazing food provided by Penelope and her team!

We could not recommend Penelope enough. The food is superb (all our guests are still saying how good it was over a month later), her staff were brilliant and Penelope herself just made the whole experience delicious. We had a dry hire venue so needed to get everything in, all of which we did through Penelope. Our worries that we'd bitten off more than we could chew melted away once we started talking to Penelope as she guided us through the process expertly without taking over allowing us to make it our own but with perfect touches. Amazing canapés - highly recommend Glazed Teriyaki Chicken, Miso marinated fillet steak and the Blackened Cod was amazing! Penelope also created the most beautiful buffet for us including the best Poached Salmon we’ve had.
