Reviews of Pitanga

I finally visited Pitanga in company of friends and I wasn't disappointed. The food was tasty, service was swift and the waitress was jovial. The interior has this homely feel -it just makes you welcome, like a home away from home. I had a most pleasant dining experience and would certainly recommend Pitanga if you're looking to savour Nigerian food with a touch of class. Thanks for a wonderful evening Nky and Nicoletta.

Met some friends here before lockdown, and it was nice to meet up again.
Homely atmosphere and enjoyable meal. Orders were not delayed and the overall experience was fantastic ⭐

Run by lovely women who help you understand the menu if you’re new to Nigerian food. Enjoyed the bass music.
The food was very good. Catered to our spice level.
The virtual menu was quite annoying. Not because it was particularly bad, but because they all are. Would be good if they uploaded a “normal” menu to their website where you can easily see all the dish listings at once, then switch across to their app to order.

Visited Pitanga for the first time in Nov 2018 with some friends who had never tasted Nigerian food - they absolutely loved it!
Nky is an extremely welcoming host, passionate about food and goes out of her way to get everything on point. She took the time to explain the various dishes and make recommendations.
Pitanga is fresh, and so very clean. The vibe is great and the decor is fab.
Since then I’ve been ordering take outs. During the early weeks of the lockdown Pitanga was my food saviour!
Absolutely 100% recommend!

This place is an absolute gem!
Have never eaten in a vegan restaurant before and wasn't sure what to expect.... But I leapt in at the deep end and went for the "African Vegan" (might as well go for it). Have never experienced such an amazing explosion of flavours and textures on one plate - this lady is nothing short of a magician!
Pitanga, you've got a brilliant restaurant - people should be queuing at your door! Thank you for a wonderful evening xxx

Good location. Good food, an Anglo-Nigerian fusion. Food made to appeal to Western tastes. Great chef and friendly customer service. For Nigerians though, they may feel it is too mild. Overall, pleased with the service provided.

Possibly the best Nigerian restaurant I have been to in the UK. Great food. Nice concept also.

I have been to Pitanga many times and it feels like home. The food is delicious, the menu is always evolving and the atmosphere is cozy, friendly and chill. The food is out of this world, every single dish on the menu is made with love and dedication.
